Emma ignored him and unlock the door with the key that was tuck in a shirt pocket.
"Welcome to your new house. It's completely soundproof. It has a kitchen, living room, two master bedrooms, two bathrooms, and some other useless rooms you can chill in."
"And you have an apartment in your closet because?"
"I don't know. It feels cool?"
"Well thank you. This is better than I expected. Do I have to pay rent?"
"Nope."
Kayden dropped his duffel bag and pulled Emma into a bone-crushing hug. "This is why you're one of my favorite celebrities."
"One? I'm offended."
"Don't be. I like you the most."
"That sounds much better. My mom leaves at 7 in the morning but the maid comes at nine so we won't have to worry about bumping into anyone."
"Okay. Sounds good."
"The windows are covered with large thick trees so don't worry about anyone seeing you."
"I feel like this is all too much for me... maybe getting an apartment is better."
"Unless you want to get sliced in half in the middle of the night because your step-dad found out where you live then go ahead."
"On second thought, I'll just take this. Thanks."
Emma smiled before leaving.
