I awoke to sound of my brother crying. Why is he crying.
I tried to sit up but I couldn't. My body felt numb.
"Hey cry baby why are you crying."
I thought she was dead! I hugged her. "I thought you were dead! I missed you so much!"
"Ok first. Get the hell off of me. Second I'm ok."
I looked around the room. I didn't see Brian. "Where's Brian?"
"We went to go get me something to eat. He should be back any minute now."
"Wait where the hell am I".
"Your in the hospital."
It all can rushing back to me like a train. Us fussing. Me hitting her. Her pushing me on my stomach. Brian choking her. Wait. MY BABY!
"Oh god is my baby ok!" tears are flowing from my eyes now.
"Oh god please lord don't let my baby be dead. Lord please. I need her. Please Lord please." (I can't stop crying! June 1st can't get here fast enough! Stupid hormones!"
"Day is my baby alive!" I grab my stomach.
I can't take this. I got up and left.
I ran into Brian.
"Hey what's wrong?"
"She is up."
"Does she know?"
"No. I can't be in there anymore. I'm just going to sit out here."
"Ok man. Here is the food. I didn't know what you wanted so I got you 2 quarter pounders one with cheese and one without. 2 fries. A Come and 2 chocolate chip cookies."
"Thank, but I lost my appetite."
"Ok well it's right here if you want it."
"Yea."
I take my phone out and text May. 'Where are you you.'
'I'm walking into the hospital right now.'
'Ok.'
I see her. She runs up to me.
"Baby I'm so sorry!"
"It's ok."
"What do you want me to do? I mean is there anything I can do."
"Just let me hold you please."

Knock knock.
All I can hear is crying.
Hick up. "Come in"
"Hey baby."
She breaks down again.
"Shhh don't cry."
"Why shouldn't I. My baby is gone!"
"What made you think that?"
"Because Day wouldn't tell me. She is dead. My baby girl is dead! My mother killed her. She is gone!"
"Sweetheart she is alive."
I looked up at him. "What."
"Yes she is alive."
"But the blood."
"You cut your leg when you feel. That was the blood you saw."
"So my baby is ok."
"Yes she is. See she has a vampire daddy. And that placenta is as hard as a rock. She's not going anywhere. That's what the doctor said"
I grabbed my stomach. My baby is ok. My baby is here!
"You are tough. Just like your mama. I love you."
The baby kicked. "She kicked."
"she did?"
"Yes."

Knot here was a knock at the door.
"Come in."
It's heather.
"Hi honey how are you feeling?"
"Like I could eat 2 cows, a pie, two shakes, 2 bags of chips, and a subway sandwich."
"Ah throw people off with the subway sandwich!"
"And you know it. What did you bring."
"What makes you think I brought anything?"
"2 reason. First I have a nose like a blood hound. Always have. An this pregnancy has made it even stronger. Second your pocketbook is smoking...."
She looked down her purse. "Shit. Tried to hide that! Ok Ms. Blood hound what did I bring?"
Nose don't fail me now!
"A chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo and bacon. Fries. Ummm some type of fried sweet. Apple pie."
"That is amazing! You got that right!"
"Yea yea I know! Now give me that delicious food!"
She handed me the bag.
It was like I was in heaven!
"So what did the to Lisa?"
We both turned and looked at Brian. "Well they can't find her. Plus I didn't press charges."
"What wait? You didn't press charges! She tried to kill my baby!"
Heather put her hand on my shoulder. "Sweetheart calm down. Your blood pressure!"
I took some deep breaths before I answered. "I didn't press charges because I want to kill her myself. I want to slowly watch her die. I want to watch her take her last breath!"
"Oh ok. Why didn't you say that at the beginning? You had my heart hurting!"
"I'm sorry. I was trying to but you kinda cut me off....."
I looked at my sandwich and back at him. I took a bite. "Baby I'm sorry."
They all laughed. "what's so funny?"
"Your acting like a animal that hasn't eaten in days!" Brian thought more like years!
"That's how I feel. And Brian shut up! It was not years!"
He turned his head. "What. I didn't say anything."
"Yes you did. You said more like years."
"Sweetheart he didn't say anything."
"Heather is it possible?"
"Might be."
"Baby look at me. Tell me what I'm thinking."
I'm thinking how I want to get you home. Rub your feet.Run you a nice bath water, and play with your belly."
"You want to run me water, rub my feet ad play with my stomach."
He fell back into his chair.
"Was she right?"
How in the hell is this possible! She just read my mind! Does that mean my child can read minds? Vampires can't read minds! So what does that make her? Is she something?
"Heather vampires can't read minds! Out of all out many powers we can't read minds! What is she?"
"I don't know. I will have to go ask my mother. I knew that smell was a little to good. Even for her o be pregnant."
They are talking about me like I'm not here! "Excuse me! I'm right here! What are you talking about!"
"You were able to read his mind. Your smell is extraordinary. Either it's this pregnancy or your something."
I just looked at them. There is a possibility that I'm a mystical creature! My thoughts were interrupted with a knock at the door.
"Come in" it was Dr. Coffee.
"Hello everyone. Long time no see heather! You need to come by when it's ther next appointment!"
"I will."
"Ok so Dawn how do you feel."
"Like I could eat a town!"
"Well then your doing great! Are you ready to go home?"
"Yes!"
"Alright. Let me check your and the babies heart beat and you can leave!"
She placed the device to my stomach. "There's yours. Sounds normal. There's the baby's. It sounds normal"
"Woo good!"
"Yep. The nurse will be in here to take out that IV and have you sign discharge papers."
"Alrighty then! Thank you."
"Your welcome. See you next time. Oh and Heather call me tonight. We need to catch up." she kissed her on the cheek.
I looked at heather as Dr. Coffee walked out. "So what was that about?"
"She likes me."
"Then go for her!"
"Negative ghost rider! I'm not into women."
"Oh well then tell her that so she won't think your leading her on."
"I have. She thinks that she can change my mind. She said that once I get a taste of her tongue that I will be hooked for life."
"Well then!"
We all laughed and chated a little until the nurse came in.
"I'm going to take your IV out now. I'm glad to see your better. That woman needs a serious ass whooping!"
Something popped into my head. I gave Heather a look. She knew that look. "Yes she does!"

"Your all ready to go!"
"Thank you."
"Your welcome. Do you need a wheel chair?"
"Yes please."
"Ok. I will have one waiting for you outside the room."
"Alrighy. Thank you again"
"Your welcome."
She left.
Heather and I looked at each other.
What the hell are they doing. I can tell that look in their eyes. It's the same look they had when they tricked me!
"Ladies what are you planning."
"Well I was thinking that maybe there was a spell to torture Lisa."
"Oh. Is there?"
"Yes there is. Just need to know what type of torture?"
"Well I'm thinking something along the line of slow painful death, but I want her alive to see that my life without her is wonderful! So is there a spell that could make her feel like she is dying?"
"Yes there is!"
"Can you have that done by tonight?"
"Now you know I can!"
"Good! Now let's get out of here! The smell of hospitals make me sick!"
They laughed at we all walked out. Day was asleep with some girl in his arms. I'm guessing that's May.
"What are we going to do about them?"
I have her mother on speed dial. Let me call her
I took out my phone and called her.
"Hello"
"Hey this is Day's sister Dawn."
"Omg how are you?"
"I'm a whole lot better. Thank you for asking."
"Your welcome."
"Well I called because we're still at the hospital and I see that May is here. Day is holding her and their both sleep. I didn't know what you wanted me to do. Do you want me to send her home or do you want her to stay in one of our rooms?"
"She can stay with you. But she doesn't have clothes."
"Well me and her are the same size. Well used to be. I still have clothes that would fit her."
"Ok that's fine. Just tell her to call me in the morning when she leaves for school."
"I sure will. And thank you for letting her be here with him. She means the world to him."
"And vise versa. Take care ok."
"I will thank you!"
"Your welcome."
We hung up.
"So she said she can stay with us."
"Ok"
I walked over to him and woke him up. "Day. Daylon. Come on man it's time to go."
He woke up and rubbed his eyes. "Where is Dawn?"
"In the wheel chair waiting for you to wake up."
"Oh."
"Pick May up. We're going home."
"Doesn't she have to go home?"
"No we called her mother. She said that she could stay."
"Oh ok."
"Let's go"
He picked her up and we headed home.

Sorry for ending it there something is wrong with my stomach. It hurts. Not like the regular hurt but like something is really wrong hurt. So I'm going to go take a nap and then see if that helps. If not then I will be going to the ED. I just wanted you guys to have something! I hoped you like it!
