Our love is like the stars.
Delicate and twinkling
With soft, breathtaking light.
But when you get up close,
It's bright and burning,
A ball of gas and flame and passion.
I squeeze your hand.
You squeeze back.
We can't know what future
The universe holds for us,
But for now,
We release our dreams into shooting stars
That streak away to the future,
Where we will certainly meet again.
