Zoey's P.O.V.
I looked at 'Bee's dashboard, mildly confused. I was glad that the two of them were happy but also a bit confused.
“What's goin’ on?” I asked him as he started to speed up
::Gadget was right! Optimus is alive!:: 'Bee replied to me enthusiastically
“Indeed! And we're going to see him shortly. “ Gadget added with a hint of excitement
“Cool!” I said with a grin
I heard them both laugh a bit before glancing out the window. I saw Gadget right behind us. I then noticed someone else driving further to the right of us.
Looking closely, I saw two other cars. One looked like a blue and black 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.
Haha, I can thank Gadget for the book about cars and trucks he put on my tablet.
The other looked like a green and black 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray.
“Who are those 'Bee?” I asked him and point of to them
I saw him readjust his side mirror to look.
::Drift and Crosshairs. Speaking of which, you going to be with me when we come to a stop.:: Bumblebee answered
“Okay.” I said with a smile as we went on
We were soon passing several large rock formations. I looked up and saw a bulky, olive green 'bot up there. It looked like he yelled something before shooting a gun in the air. Boy, even from here it looked like he had A LOT of guns and ammo.
“In case you're wondering, that would be Hound. I've helped patch him up a time or two.” Gadget's voice then chimed in, and I could hear his grin.
“Thanks!” I replied and I heard him chuckle back
A few minutes later we came to a stop, Gadget ahead of us.
::Grab your bag real quick:: I heard 'Bee say kindly to me
I nodded and hopped out, before slipping my couple things into my backpack and sliding it on.
I stood back as I watched 'Bee transform into his bipedal mode.
:: Alrighty there?:: He asked me before lowering his servo and I climbed on
“With you I am.” I replied with a grin as he set me on his shoulder
I heard him chuckle back a bit before he started walking forward. I got a glimpse of a blue and red flamed, custom looking, Western Star semi truck. A few seconds later, three people got out and it transformed into an autobot wayyyyy bigger than 'Bee and Gadget. I would say that would be Optimus.
“Yeah. Mr. Leader of the Free Galaxy is back. I knew you'd make it, I never doubted.” A green and black one said as he came over.
I think 'Bee said he was called Crosshairs. He had a trench like coat that look similar to his paint job. And it looked like a pair of goggles with two different lenses, one red and one blue. He reminded me a bit of those people you see in movies where they have all sorts of weapons hidden in their jacket
“We got your warning. We've been waiting.” Another one said, who was blue and black.
I remembered his name, Drift. He looked like a samurai. And sounded like one. It was rather neat.
“Hell, yeah. Boom time. We got the gang back together.” Hound said as he came over too.
He I remembered easily, mostly because of the guns. He reminded me of one of those military people that have a huge assortment of guns and ammo on them.
“Humans have asked us to play by their rules. Well, the rules have just changed.” Optimus stated
“Human beings, bunch of backstabbin’ weasels.” Hound said irritably
I feel bad for them. Not all humans are bad, least I don't think so. But what these people are doing is wrong. I glanced back up as Drift and Hound started arguing
“Hound, find your inner compass. Loyalty is but a flower in the winds of fear and temptation.”
“What the hell are you saying!?”
“It's a haiku.”
“Cut the crap before I drop a grenade down your throat.”
“Try it, you'll be dead.”
“Oh, please pull it. Please do it.”
::You know what, it'll save us so much time:: 'Bee then said as he tossed his servos in the air a little
I lightly smack him on the side of the neck and I heard him chuckle a little in response.
“Well raise your hand if you've been thoroughly disenchanted with our little pleasant Earth vacation.” Crosshairs said, before in a flash he whipped out a gun and aimed it at the three people who had gotten out of Optimus, “So who's the stowaways?”
“Oh, woh, hey! What's with the gun!?” One of them yelled
Hmm, I wonder who they are.
“Stop, Hound! Both of you! They've risked their lives for mine. We owe them.” Optimus said
I then saw Gadget walk forward and took a deep breath.
“I smell dried energon on you. You were on the brink of dying again, weren't you?” Gadget questioned, sending Optimus a pointed look
“How did he do that?” I asked 'Bee quietly
::Gadget has enhanced senses of smell and hearing, since he is a medic in training.:: 'Bee answered to me quietly
I nodded and tuned back into the conversation.
“Has there been any sign of the others?” I heard Optimus ask
“Nada.” Hound said
“We are all that's left.” Drift also said
“They're picking us off, one by one.” Crosshairs added
“Bit by bit. Piece by piece.” Gadget said with a tsk
“We're the pathetic, dirty, five-some. And you make six.” Hound said gruffly
“Clearly this will be fun.” Gadget said sarcastically
Later
Zoey's P.O.V.
I was sitting by the fire beside the three people who Optimus had brought. 'Bee had introduced me to the others, who had taken me better than they had the other three. Why that is, I have no idea.
Gadget had just finished scanning Optimus, who didn't have much of a choice.
'Primus knows how much damage you took this time.’ He had said
“Well, Cade fixed you up rather well. Good job.” Gadget said simply with a nod off his helm at Cade, before he then headed a few feet away and sat down, his back turned to us, working on something.
“So that's our best-case scenario? Autobot witness protection?” Shane questioned
From my understanding, he's Tessa's boyfriend and Cade doesn't like him. Mostly because Tessa is his daughter and yeah. That's the most I got from the three.
Oh, and Cade is an inventor and engineer! He was surprised at how excited I was at the sound of that. Who knows why.
“Hey, Speed- Racer, you're welcome to leave anytime.” Cade replied annoyed
“Well,for the record, Superdad, I'm not hiding with you. I'm hiding out with that big guy.” Shane replied as he pointed at Optimus
“Also, for the record, you both are growing more annoying than the twins.” I heard Gadget call back in response, not turning around.
I think he's working on his holomatter thingy. Nevertheless, I sniggered slightly at his comment.
“Will you two please stop.” Tessa said with a sigh
I simply sat there amused.
“Sensei, with your fate unknown, Bumblebee has held command, despite his complete and total lack of anything resembling warrior discipline. He's like a child.” Drift said while gesturing at him with on off his swords
I honestly have zero idea what any of that translated to. Zero, zip zilch.
I did see Bumblebee get up quickly and stride over to Drift.
::This child is about to kick your ass.:: 'Bee barked back angrily
A split second later, both of them started fighting.
“Cage fight.” I heard Hound say
“Smartass.” I heard Drift retort as he held one of his swords against 'Bee's neck
“Yes, I've been waiting for them all to dispatch each other, so I could take charge with no trouble at all. Just me reporting to me.” Crosshairs said over eagerly with a slight clap off his servos
“Well, sure looks like you've been missed.” Cade said sarcastically
“I swear, sometimes Dad was correct when he said he lived with a bunch of idioten at times.” Gadget said almost lazily as I heard the sound of metal being welded
“Autobots, Lockdown is hunting us and humans are helping. We need to know why.” Optimus said with seriousness as Drift and 'Bee broke apart, glaring at each other
“Well, listen, I don't know why, but I have an idea about who.” Cade said as he showed us a drone
It was interesting looking. It also looked highly advanced technology wise.
“This drone I stole recorded footage of an Autobot raid. It's in pieces, but watch what happens.” Cade said as he set up the drone, playing footage against one of the rock formations
Gadget got up and walked over to see.
I watched in horror as it showed people shooting on off the Autobots, the ones who fought for us.
It played for a few minutes.
“Oh, that's Leadfoot.” Hound said with his voice tinted with sadness
“They rip him apart.” Cade said
“Savages.” Hound growled
The drone then glitched a little and a blurry picture of a fallen yellow-green bot appeared
“I’m an Autobot! I'm an Autobot!” He yelled while being shot
The footage then blacked out. I looked at Gadget and I saw him almost frozen like.
“And later this truck comes to take them off. KSI. Defense, aerospace, government contracts. They designed this drone.” Cade then explained
“So they hunt you down and take you to that place?” I ask
“They're headquartered in Chicago. That could be where they were taken.”
“No way to get inside without a battle.” Hound stated
I then heard Cade and Tessa argue for a moment. I looked over at where Gadget had been, only to see him gone.
I looked around and then saw his alt mode several feet away instead.
I saw Optimus look over at the alt, with a tint of sadness in his optics. A moment later, he was back into the Western Star semi truck I saw earlier. I heard the opening and closing of the door, before seeing a man hop out.
He looked to be about 28 or 29. He had blue hair, with red tips, styled like flames. He had on a navy leather jacket, and a grey button up shirt underneath. Along with dark blue jeans and a brown leather belt. He also had navy, red, and white running shoes.
'That must be Optimus's holoform.’ I thought to myself
I watched as he went over to Gadget's alt and tapped gently on the passenger door. It opened up, allowing him in, before it shut again.
A moment later, 'Bee picked me up and set me on his shoulder.
“Is Gadget alright?” I asked while leaning tiredly up against him.
:: I'm not sure. He's very upset. The second Autobot looked a lot like Ratchet.:: 'Bee said sadly to me, and I nodded.
Several minutes later, Optimus came back over. He climbed into his alt before transforming into his bipedal mode.
“Autobots, I have sworn to never kill humans.” he started
“Big mistake.” Hound chimed in
“But when I find out who's behind this, he's going to die.” Optimus finished
“Hooah!”
Hey! So, we've finally made it to where the other Autobots join in. Above is Optimus's holoform appearance, which belongs to me. And before anybody gets on my case, I am working on A Little Nindroid right now. So either I'll have a new chapter up in a couple hours OR in the morning. I promise. Anyone figure out what Gadget is most upset over after the video? Read closely now....
