"i would like to introduce our new classmate, olajide olatunji" the teacher says pointing to me,

i start panicking.
"mr. olatunji you can sit next to mr. bradley, raise your hand please" and josh raises his hand,
i slowly make my way towards the seat,
josh gives me the evil eye as i sit down.
"hey simon" i jump to the sound of jj's voice and look around,
"i'm in your head, dummy"
"what-!"
"shh! some one will hear you! just shut up and listen."
i bite my lip,
nodding slightly.
"as you may know, i'm not human. and i wanted to give you a second chance with joshua over there, so i'm letting you borrow my body for a week. a normal human would only be able to hold 2 souls for 14 hours, but remember i'm not human. also another thing, josh hates me so, like, good luck with that"
i groan silently,
"god fucking damn it jide" i mutter rubbing my temples.
"mr. olatunji? you better be paying attention back there!" the teacher calls to me,
i just nod as the class snickers at me.

i can't believe jj has been transferred to my class,
out of all the classes,

i groan as the bell goes,
picking up my books i head to my locker to grab my math books.
"why are you following me?" i turn around and ask jj,
"well incase you didn't notice, i don't know where anything is, and i'm new" he smirks walking past me to his locker,
i grunt putting my code in,
watching as jj puts his in code.
"you have to show me around too, i never got the grand tour of this shit hole" he smirks,
i shove my maths books into my locker,
i pop chewing gum in my mouth and place my hands on my hips,
pulling off that while girl shit
"fuck math anyway."

"lunch is in 5 minutes, make sure if you don't bring your own food you get in here fast. it gets pretty mad in here" i say as we exit,
"point made" he puts his hands in his pockets.
"let's wait behind the bleaches, that's where the other guys will be when lunch starts"
"isn't that a little cliché?"
"everything is cliché in this school, jide" i say as the bell goes,
"hey josh! oh, hey jj" tobi asks puzzled as ethan, chip and harry.
"he's a new transfer, who would have known. he's in my english class" i smile,
tobi just raises an eyebrow,
"who would have known."

i missed all this,
walking through the hallways of school again with josh,
but there was more tension and silence in the air.
it had a choking feeling.
i kept my cool and pretended to be interested when i knew where everything was.
i just wanted to reach out and grab that soft hand of his,
for him to hold me again.
"josh? were's simon?" i look over to see tobi whispering to josh,
"i don't know tobi, i woke up and, poof, he was gone. god i miss him tobes, it just proves how much i need him, now he's gone. he probably hates me, regrets saving my life" he runs a hand through his hair,
i frown and walk up to josh and give him a hug,
he doesn't hug back because he's surprised.
i whisper to myself as he cries into my shoulder,
"i would never hate you, and wouldn't dream of regretting what i did. i love you."
