It was late and all you could hear through the corridor was the sound of Charlottes heals clicking on the floor as she was walking. She was mad and she only had one thought in her mind, revenge. So she had found the perfect way to get revenge and now she was looking for the person she needed to do it.

It didn't take her long to found who she was looking for. She heard his voice before she saw him, in the silent castle it was hard not to.

"Who's there?" He asked, standing with his friends. They all had heard the steps of someone walking towards them. When they saw who it was they couldn't help but to raise their eyebrows, what was Charlotte Granger doing down here?

"What are you doing here?" One of the boys asked, she didn't know his name but she smiled at all of them.

"I just want to talk." She said sounding innocent.

"And why do you want to talk?"

"I realized that what you said before was true. So I wanted to come and apologize." Charlotte lied. She had been getting scary good at lying during her time here.

When she said that a smirked formed on the boys face. He was satisfied that she were there with him and had listen to what he had told her earlier in the week.

"Leave us." He said to his friends. He never took his eyes from the small girl standing in front of him. They left not saying anything and Charlotte walked closer to the boy standing not to far from her.

"Finally we're alone." She smirked putting her hand on his chest. Just like before she could feel how he tensed under her touch and how he stopped breathing for a second.

"W-w-we are." He said and she smiled at him. Her arms snaked their around his neck and he put his around her waist pulling her closer to him. Their faces was now so close that their lips were almost touching. Charlotte could see the lust shine in his eyes and an admiration she didn't know existed.

Before she knew it Charlotte was walking back to the common room when she heard someone walking behind her. She debated if she should hide, it could be a teacher after all, but in the last moment she decided not to.

It didn't take long for the person behind her to catch up with her and she saw someone she hoped not to see more today. She let out a sigh and turned away from him and continued to walk.

"Charlotte! Wait up!" Sirius called behind her. What did he want? Rub it in her face a little more?

"I'm tired Sirius. I don't want to talk to you right now." Charlotte said still walking away from him. Sirius was still following her (they were going to the same place) and she sighed again, she just wanted him to go away.

"Lottie, please just talk to me." His voice broke when he pleaded for her to listen to what he had to say.

"Don't call me Lottie." She gritted out, she was mad. Before she was scared that she would start to cry the soon as she saw him, but now she just wanted to crush him to nothing.

"Just listen to me!" Sirius almost yelled grabbing her arm to stop her from continue to walk. When Charlotte felt his hand on her arm she tensed before turning to him.

"What? What do you want to say?" Sirius couldn't help but to forget what he wanted to tell her. He couldn't help but to stare in to her hazel eyes and almost getting lost in them before he felt his blood run cold.

"Your lipstick is smudged." He almost whispered out.

"Thanks for telling me." She said before she turned to walk away again.

"Why are your lipstick smudged?" It had finally got up for him what must have happened for her lipstick to be like that. He could feel anger starting to build up inside of him. Who had she been with? Why had she been with someone?

"It's none of your business." Charlotte said with a sharp voice. She tried to get out of the death grip Sirius had on her arm, but it just get tighter.

"Tell me!" Sirius almost shouted.

"You know what! Screw you! I'm done!" She finally managed to get her arm free and when he tried to stop her again she slapped him.

Sirius was shocked when he felt the pain on his cheek. Before he could stop her again she was gone and he cursed under his breath. He hated how the night had ended. It had started so good and then Marlene had to ruin it all. He never wanted her, she threw herself at him when she heard someone walk in where they were talking.

When she left them alone in the astronomy tower Sirius had yelled at Marlene before running after Charlotte. He had walked around the castle trying to find her ever since. So when he found her he were happy. He wanted to explain to her what had happened and that it was nothing going on between him and Marlene. But when he saw her smudged lipstick he didn't know what to think.

Had she found somebody else? And so fast? Sirius didn't know what to think and his feelings was going haywire. He was mad at Marlene for what she had done, how she had ruined his night. He was sad because he hadn't gotten the night with Charlotte he wanted. He was hurt and mad when he realized that she had kissed someone that wasn't him, but he couldn't really talk there.

He didn't know how, but somehow he had managed to walk back to the gryffindor tower. Sirius just wanted to hide in his bed and hoping that the whole thing was a dream when he woke up.

"Hi Padfoot. How was your night?" Remus asked with a smirk. He was sitting on his bed reading a book, he had left the party earlier and had seen how close Charlotte and Sirius was getting.

"I don't want to talk about it." He said and lay down on his bed burring his face in his pillow.

"Okay." Remus said back to his friend, confused about why he didn't want to talk about it but just shrugged it off. He knew he would found out sooner or later.

Charlotte woke up the next morning still mad about everything that had happened. Sirius had no right to react like he did. When he kissed Marlene he lost all that right.

So she had done nothing wrong last night, not that she had done anything. He had kissed her, not the other way around. That's why her lipstick were smudged when Sirius found her wandering the halls.

"Good morning!" Lily said with a big smile when she saw that Charlotte was awake. Both her and Alice had been gossiping about Charlotte and Sirius all night before they fell asleep. They had been asleep when Charlotte got back so now they wanted to know everything that had happened the night before.

"Good morning!" Charlotte answered, not in a good mood. On top off everything she was hungover from the night before.

"So how was last night?" Lily thought that starting out small made it easier to get more information out of her. Both Lily and Alice was curios about everything.

"It wasn't as I expected." Charlotte answered. She didn't want to tell her friends what had happened. What had happened last night wasn't something that she was proud of, she felt like she had been played, that Sirius just had led her on and she had believed it was something more between them.

"What happened?" Lily asked and you could see the excitement bubbling inside her.

Charlotte ran her hand through her hair. What should she tell them? She knew that the truth would come out sooner or later, but right now she didn't have the energy to tell her what had happened.

"Nothing special actually, I went for a walk around the castle and then to bed." Charlotte lied and shrugged her shoulders.

"Thats all?" She could feel the excitement leaving Lily as the moment went by.

Charlotte stood up from the bed as she thought about what she should tell Lily. Her dress from last night was laying in a pile next to the her bed. So before she answered she turned her back to Lily to put her dress away.

"I may have run in to someone on my way back. We talked for a while and just before I left to go back to the common room, he kissed me." Charlotte was happy that Lily couldn't see the big smirk that had its place on her lips as she told her friend this. It wasn't hard for Charlotte to know that they would think she was talking about Sirius, but she didn't care.

"You have to tell me everything." Lily said and squealed, praying that she was talking about Sirius.

Charlotte turned to her friend and smiled. The smile on her face could have been fake, but this time it wasn't, which after everything that had happened was a surprise to Charlotte.

"It's nothing special. After I left you at the party I walked around the castle for a little while before I met him. We talked for a while and got to know each other, something I never thought would happen. He kissed me before we parted ways and I went back to the common room."

Lily listened to what her friend was telling her. She hoped that she was talking about Sirius, but when she heard what Charlotte told her she knew she wasn't. It was someone else she had met up with last night, someone form what she had gathered was in a different house.

"Who was it?" Lily asked, trying to sound as excited as she had been doing before she figured this out.

"I'll tell you later. It's a secret for now." Charlotte smirked at her friend and Lily gave her a small smile. She new she had to talk to James about this.

"Okay, but promise you'll tell me everything?"

"Promise."

"Good. I have to talk to James but I'll see you at breakfast." Charlotte nodded to her friend agreeing to meeting up at breakfast before she left for the bathroom to start getting ready.

Lily almost ran down to the common room looking for her boyfriend to ask him about what had happened. Her red hair was flying around her head and her eyes were opened wide.

It didn't take her long to find James sitting next to the fire talking to Remus.

"James I need to talk to you." Lily said and he could tell it was something important. At first his blood ran cold, was it something he had done? Did she want to break up? Didn't she love him anymore?

All does thoughts ran though his head when he nodded and followed her out of the common room and to a place where they could talk in private.

"What did you want to talk about?" James asked, still worried about what his girlfriend would tell him. It wasn't hard to see that it was something that was important to Lily.

"Did you know what happened last night?" Lily asked.

"About what?"

"With Lottie, and Sirius?"

"What happened with them?" James asked feeling the protectiveness coming forward again. Had Sirius done something to hurt her?

"It seems that nothing happened, between them at least."

"What do you mean?"

"It seems as they never met up after Lottie left the party. But Lottie met someone else, as they talked and then kissed. But she wont tell me who. But from what she told me it seems as he isn't in gryffindor."

This made James frown. Something had happened between Sirius and Charlotte last night, it had to. He knew that Charlotte wouldn't leave him to be with someone else just like that. Sirius cared so much for the girl and James was scared that his friend was going to get hurt.

"I have to talk to Lottie." James said and left a confused Lily standing alone in the deserted corridor.
