RCA's Bullhead
In the morning, Penny Polendina and I packed our things to leave Atlas because Diana Burnwood told me that she has a mission for me on the next day. Penny Polendina and I boarded the Bullhead and it left to the Remnant Contract Agency. The RCA is located in Sanus. It will take another two hours to reach there. After two hours, we finally reached the RCA. The Bullhead landed on the docking bay. When the Bullhead landed on the docking bays, Penny Polendina and I aboarded the Bullhead and jaunted into the building.
Onyx: It's been a while we hanged out with each other. I'll see you later, Penny.
Penny: See you later, Onyx Crimson.
Penny Polendina left to her dorm. I walked down the halls and I approached towards an agent.
Onyx: Excuse me, where's Amber?
Agent 1: You mean that previous Fall Maiden?
Onyx: Yes, I want to pay a visit to her.
Agent 1: She's at the infirmary, Mr. R47.
Onyx: Thank you, sir.
The agent nodded and left. I advented towards the infirmary in the Remnant Contract Agency. When I stood in front of the door of the infirmary, I held the door knob and I opened the door. The doctor was standing next to a sleeping Amber who was on the bed. I approached the doctor.
Onyx: Is she okay?
Doctor 1: She's fine, R47. She just woke up yesterday. It was a miracle that she was still alive.
Onyx: Can I talk to her, privately?
Doctor 1: Yes, Mr. R47. That's what you always ask me to do.
Onyx: Thank you, doctor.
Doctor 1: Don't mention it, kid.
The doctor left the infirmary. Amber was snooring as she was sleeping. I sat down next to her. I placed my hand on her right hand. Her hand was soft but at least she did not have a fever. She opened her eyes and she woke up from her sleep.
Amber: Hello? Is anybody there?
Onyx: I'm here.
Amber turned her head and looked at me.
Amber: Who are you?
Onyx: My name is Onyx Crimson. I'm here to pay a visit to you.
Amber: What happened?
Onyx: It was a long story. My agent, Ian managed to save you from the glass chamber in Beacon Academy.
Amber looked around her body and she noticed that she was wearing her regular outfit.
Onyx: Your name is Amber, right?
Amber: Yes, that's my name.
Onyx: Do you feel, okay?
Amber: My head hurts.
Amber felt some pain in her head. I grabbed some pills and I gave it to Amber.
Onyx: Here, take these pills. These will help you to cure your headache.
Amber took two pills and she swallowed them while drinking plain water. She cleared her throat by drinking the water.
Amber: Now I feel okay.
Onyx: You wanna go out for a walk?
Amber: Okay, but you have to help me. My leg hurts.
Amber got down from the bed and I helped her to walk properly. We walked out from the infirmary and we approached towards the courtyard of the Remnant Contract Agency. We went to the outside courtyard. Amber took a seat on the bench and I sat next to her.
Onyx: Does your head feel well?
Amber: It's okay now.
Onyx: Do you remember you being a Fall Maiden?
Amber: A Fall Maiden?
Onyx: Yes, don't you?
Amber: I remember that I had horrifying and terrifying dreams during my coma.
Onyx: Could you tell what happened to you in your dreams.
Amber: It was a haunting flashback.
Amber's Flashback
Amber: I was riding my horse, on my way to my village. I still remembered that I had powers of a Fall Maiden. While I rode my horse, I saw a girl crying because she fell off from her bicycle. I approached her and she looked at me. I gave her a red apple. Suddenly, I noticed it was a hallucination. I was surprise attacked by two Human. The first had green hair and the other one had grey hair. I fought both of them with might. While I fought both of them, another Human approach. She had long black hair and a red outfit. She attacked me from behind but I dodged her attacks. Many fights lasted. When I was about to kill the human, I screamed and felt pain from my back. I started to cry as I noticed an arrow was shot on my back. The woman approached me slowly and stood in front of me. The other two Human held my sides. I begged for her to stop but she refused. She put on a glove and suddenly, a bug came out from the glove. I was frightened and I tried to run away. The bug absorbed and drained my energy. The woman took my Fall Maiden powers. Then, a young man managed to cut the connection but he didn't do it in time. The three of them left and the young man took me and carried me to his house.
End Of Amber's Flashback
Onyx: So she became the new Fall Maiden?
Amber: Yes, I was placed in a glass container inside a secret vault. I never wanted to remember those memories again.
Onyx: I feel sad for you.
Amber then yawned stating that she is tired.
Onyx: I think you're sleepy. Can I sent you to bed?
Amber: Sure.
Amber and I got up from the bench. I helped Amber up and I sent her back to the infirmary.
Nighttime
R47's Dorm
I was sleepy so I went to bed. Then, somebody opened the door. I noticed it was Amber. She was a bit afraid and scared.
Onyx: What's wrong, Amber?
Amber: Can I sleep at your dorm tonight?
Onyx: Uh, sure. You feel a bit scared.
Amber: It's nothing, Onyx.
Amber turned off the lights. We lied down on my bed and Amber covered our body in a blanket.
Onyx: Goodnight, my Fall Maiden.
Amber: Goodnight.... Onyx....
Amber fell asleep. I went to sleep peacefully and soundly. Tomorrow, I have a mission to go to.
