Chapter 11
Ryder POV
I woke up by my alarm. I got up and took a shower, I changed into a black shirt with a black and white flannel shirt on top, I also wore dark jeans and my converse. I left my hair out and I grab my bag and head down stairs. Everyone was downstairs already, eating breakfast.
"Morning guys" I said
"Morning" they all said and I smiled I grabbed an energy drink from the fridge and walk to the breakfast bar, where Hazel and Raymond eating. I took a sip and heard a car honk. it was Kayden-Alpha
"Well, That's Alpha. Bye" I said and they looked at me strangely, I was headed for the door
"Wait!" Ronnie said i stopped and looked at Ronnie "why is he here?" he asked
"He wanted to take me to school, don't worry you can see me by my locker" I said and they nodded. I walked to outside and to his car, I step inside and smiled
"Morning Alpha" I said
"Why are you calling me Alpha?" he said
"Well aren't you the Alpha? it's respectful-"
"No, I'm your mate. So call me Kayden" he said
"I'll think about it" I said and kissed his cheek, he started driving and I realize something. I groaned, if the other wolves sees me and Alpha together what are we going to do? its going to start rumors
"Ryder what's wrong?" he asked
"It's um.......people are going to stare at us......" Crap, why didn't I realize that earlier?
"You don't want people to know we're mates?" He quickly glanced at me
"I do but not at the academy, not now at least" I said
"Your ashamed of us" he said as if he was hurt and I looked at him
"No,no,no" I said quickly and. I touch his upper arm, feeling the tingles coursing through his arm "I just don't want people looking at us, i hate people staring" I said
I took my hand off his arm and place them on my lap, He place his hand on mine, I looked at him and he smiled faintly At me.
"Don't worry if they bother you call me, i'll deal with them" he said We stop at a red light and he took my phone and put his number into it, He took my number.He gave me my phone back and the light turned green, he turned right and pulled up into the academy's parking lot. Everyone was already staring.
"Oh boy" I groan out loud, Alpha got out the car and walk to the other side and opened the door for me, I step out the car. Everyone was staring at me and Kayden-Alpha geez I have to stop calling him Kayden.
"Stop, it doesn't matter what people think" he said I had to look up at him because he 6'6 and I'm 4'11 so i'm like an ant compared to him. He grab my neck and lean down toward me, he kissed me gently and pulled away.
"Now I know everyone is staring at us" I said
"it doesn't matter" he said and shrugged it off
"Yeah you don't go to school with them " I said
"If they bother you call me and i'll deal with them"
"Okay"I said and he smiled, I walked away from him and looked down at the ground trying to hide my face from everyone staring at me, they were already making up rumors and talking about me
'She is such a slut!' 'Alpha Kayden is mine, I'm his real mate' 'ugh, does it matter if they're together? it's not going to last' 'she is such a whore' I rolled my eyes and walked to my locker and I waited for my brothers. Every person who walked by me was staring at me was talking about Kayden and I, my face was buried in my locker.
My brothers finally came to me, I sighed and walked to them, I told them what happened and then they said it wasn't a big deal but it was, people are talking about me and Alpha. I hope this day goes by fast.
I was in my Spanish class and the day went by slow, in history people was ignoring me which I liked. In Algebra was annoying everyone was talking about the kiss in the parking lot, Omar said that I should ignore it. people were still talking about me and Alpha Kayden, the girls gave me dirty looks and talking bad about me. I hated it so much, I don't even know them and they talk bad about me! When the bell rang I told my brothers that I would meet the Up in the cafeteria. I made my way to my locker and place my bag into my locker and walked my way to the cafeteria. A girl pushed me against the lockers
"What the hell!?" I shouted
"Stay away from Omar, he's mine."
"What are you talking about?" I said
"Your such a slut, taking everyone's boyfriends and the alpha but you don't care about anyone's feelings" she hissed
"You better Watch to who your talking to" I warned
"Your nothing but a weakling and a slut!" she spat I growled, everyone was watching us. She was becoming so annoying and she didn't even know what rank I'm in! If she knew she would have never touch me
"I'm just Omar's friend" I said
"That's such a pathetic excuse, leave him alone or you won't get hurt" she said
I laughed "you think you can hurt me? you clearly don't know who your dealing with"
"I know exactly who I'm dealing with! You leave him alone you Slut!" she said pushed me against the lockers
I growled and I would have swung at her but four large bodies hold me back. I knew exactly who it was. My Brothers.
"Let me go!" I shouted
"Dee she just trying to get to you" Rylan said
"I don't give a shit! I will teach her a lesson, she should know who she's talking to!" I said
"Your just an weakling! You need your brothers to fight your battles! I should have known, The Morris Family is a disappointment to this pack" she spat at that my brothers growled but they didn't hurt her because she was a she-wolf and no male wolf would hurt a she-wolf. Luckily I wasn't a male wolf so I can hurt her.
I lunged at her and she pushed me away from her, I ran toward her and I carried her by the neck and threw her to the ground, My brothers smiled in satisfaction and everyone was yelling and cheering about the fight. I let her lay down on the floor, I turn my back on her and walked to my brothers. I felt her getting up and running toward me, I turn around and punched her in the face. she fell to the floor and I lift her up and pinned her to the wall.
"Don't ever say that about the Morris family" I hissed I threw her to the ground and walked away from her, I walked to the cafeteria with my brothers following me. Hazel and Omar was sitting at the table where we usually sit.
"Ryder!" she said and walked to me
"What happened?" Omar asked
"I think one of your psychopath girlfriends wanted me to stay away from you and she said something about my family so I think she'll leave me alone" I said
"Ugh that's Britney, she has a crush on me and we use to talk but i realize that she bothers every girl I talk to so I don't talk to her anymore" he said and shrugged "I'm sorry, I should have told you"
"No it's okay" I said and we started to eat and talk about a lot of things, Hazel was talking to Raymond but I didn't mind. When lunch was over, I made my way to the library when a staff stop me
"Do you know where is Ryder Morris?" The staff said
"Your looking at her" she looked confused but shrugged
"Oh...your needed in the principal office" and walked away, I groan and I walked to the principle's office. I knock on the door and saw the girl with long black hair and nice Brown eyes, with a bruise underneath her eye. it was Britney. She was sitting across from the principal. Mr. Jones
"You called me?" I said
"Yes, please take a seat" he said and pointed to the chair next to Britney. I sat down and she stiffened which cause me to smile slightly.
"Is it true you punched Britney for no reason" he said
"No, I punched her for disrespecting my family's name" I said
"Britney, you know better than to do that! You can cause a battle to the death with Wolves, Especially the Morris' you know there past!" he shouted at her, I saw the little Flinch she made when he shouted at her. When a wolf disrespect another wolf's family name it can cause a fight to the death or wars if they disrespect an Alpha or Betas name, my family generation killed thousands of wolves disrespecting our family name. It's also why we are known ,The principal turned to me.
"We both know that it wasn't right of her to disrespect your family name but it did not mean to punch her" he said
"Hm......I guess it didn't, you were right." I said
"Now apologize" I ignored him and I stared at Britney
"I guess I should have killed her instead!" I shouted and stood up "she clearly doesn't know what rank I'm in" I said
"Ryder. Sit down now!" Mr. Jones shouted, I turn to look at him
"I'm not a dog, Sir. Do not treat me like one" I said
"Ryder please sit" he sighed and I smiled
"Gladly" I said and sat down, he shook his head
"Ryder, Britney, this Academy has rules and regulations and if your not going to follow them then find another Academy! I do not want wolves from this pack to be turning against eachother!" he said "I hope you guys know that If there is problems like this, I have to call the Alpha! You see the trouble you cause, I have to bring the alpha and we both have to settle this and then the rest in all in his decision!" he shouted and I sat back while Britney flinch at his voice. There was a moment of silence and when someone barged in, I turn to look at the person and it was Alpha Kayden.
"What's going -" he stop talking when he glance at me and Britney
"One of them disrespected their family's name and one-"
"Which is me" I interrupted making the principal irritated
"Which is Ryder, who punch her in face" He said
"What do you have to say to yourselves?" Kayden said
"Well I have to say damn" I said "because I didn't even get to kill her" I said and the principal growled
"Ryder, will you stop acting smart?!" Mr. Jones said
"I'm not acting smart, I'm acting like a fucking genius! Because she disrespected my Family's Name and you aren't doing shit! What I did was what she deserved, so why am I here?" I said standing up from my seat
"You hit her first" mr.Jones said
"So? Your lucky that I didn't challenged her" I said and looked at her, she looked scared but didn't say a word "Whatever, I don't care anymore, I'm late for my Lycanthrope class" I said walking out the office i started walking and Kayden followed me.
"Ryder" he called after me
"What Alpha?" I snapped and he growled angrily
"Do not talk to me like that!" he said
"I don't care, I really need to go to let some steam off" I said walking away and he grab my arm and pulled me to his chest, I was speechless. His chest was hard and his masculine scent was intoxicating, I was frozen.
"Don't leave, please. Just stay and we'll settle this together" he whispered It caused me to shiver, his deep husky voice was so sexy, His heart beat was once again the best rhythm I had ever heard. His breathing was relaxing, this was very different. Last time I was near his chest was when I rejected him but it felt annoying, Now it felt amazing.
"I-I don't want to" I said
"Fine do you want her expelled?" he said
"Yes.......No.........i don't know and I don't care, you can suspend her" I said surprising myself that I said that, and I felt him nod, he kissed my head and walked away. I didn't want him to leave, I wanted to hear his breathing, His heart beating and smell his scent. I walked to the locker room and changed into my training clothes, I walked to the class and started training.
When it was finished, I change back into my clothes and walked out the school. My brother's Car was gone
"Crap!" I shouted and ran my hand through my hair, I started to walk when someone stop me
"Ryder!" it was Kayden, the way he said my name was so....beautiful! I turn to look at him and he was running to me
"Yes, Alpha?" I said
"Where are your brothers?" he asked
"Home. They must have thought since you picked me up this morning-"
"I would take you back....hm.... okay let's go, but I left my car over at the pack house. Lets go for a run" he said I nodded we walked to the woods, he carried my bag and we started talking to eachother but then we smell the same scent. Rouges and the same ones too, we looked at eachother and ran toward the scent.
"Show yourselves!" Kayden demanded with his alpha tone, gosh that was so sexy, Snap out of it! this is a serious situation! I looked around to see if anyone was here.
"Ah......you brought my mate" The voice said and I knew who that was. Kevin. we turn to look at him.
"Your mate?" Kayden said
Kevin pointed at me "The girl she my mate" he said Kayden growled and put his arm around me and pull me closer.
"She mine, now get off my territory! Before I let her kill you" he said and I grinned wickedly .
"Ah.......That is your mate, she so......" he said I saw his eyes scanning my body head to toe, I felt so uncomfortable. Kayden pulled me closer, I wasn't scared I was use to danger but never uncomfortable.
"Delicious" Kevin finished his sentence, Kayden growled angrily and I did too. I was unafraid to go and kill him but Kayden hold was so tight, I couldn't get out of.
"Leave" I said in a demanding tone "stop spending your time here, you'll never get Hazel back. She under the best protection in this pack!"
"Oh no, I don't want her anymore. She worthless now, I want you. You seem such a prize now since your the Alphas mate." he said amusingly
"You take me, I'll snap your neck" I threaten and he laughed
"Confident, I like you already. You would be Great in this pack" he said
"Ha! your barely a pack, Your just a group of Rouges calling eachother a pack" I said and he growled, I could tell he wanted to hit me but Kevin saw Kayden as a threat, which means one wrong move and Kayden will kill him. Kevin start to retreat but he stop and looked at me
"Until next time, love" he said and ran off, I got out of Kaydens hold and I took a few steps toward the direction Kevin went to and I looked at Kayden.
Kayden didn't say anything, he just started to walk ahead of Me, I caught up to him and he ran. I was confused so I chased after him, He was fast but I was close to catching up to him. When he finally stop running he was at the pack house. He walked inside and into his office, I still followed him
"Ryder leave" he said
"Nope" I said
"Ryder! Can you just leave this-"
"How can I leave If you still have my bag, I have assignments to do" I interrupted him, he handed me my bag and grab a hold of his arm and he looked at me
I stared at him with blank expression on my face"And don't you ever tell me to leave, you understand" I said He was trying to get out of my grasp but I didn't let him, I just pulled his arm.
"Stop" he said
"No, not unless you want me to leave for good" I said and he shook his head, I let him go and he sat On his chair that was In front of the desk. I walk up to him
"Listen to me" I said to him and I put my hand under his chin and made him look at me, he look angry but amused. for the first time, I was looking down at him and he was looking up at me.
"If you make me leave again, I will but I won't be coming back you understand, I will not be treated or feel like a slut. Not again." I said sternly he nodded and hug my stomach, I smiled. He pulled away and I sat on his desk.
"So why the silent treatment on the way here?" I asked
"I thought I got rid of him, I guess not. He is always slipping through my fingers." he growled, a lady walked in with a tray of brownies. She set it down on the table and bowed her head. she turned around and walked toward the door
"Miss!" I call out for her, she turn to look at me and smiled
"Yes?" she said
"Can you call the Beta to come here, and thank you for bringing these in for him" I said she nodded and walked out the room. I got off the table and kissed Kayden's forehead
"I need to go home and do my assignments, you talked this out with Beta Sam" I said
"Let me take you, home" he said
"No. you need to find out more about Kevin and I need to do my assignments and start on my training. So don't argue with me" I said sternly and he didn't argued. I didn't have any assignments I just need an excuse to leave so I can find out more facts about Kevin myself.
