Charlotte crossed her arms over her chest and let her eyes wonder over the boy in front of her.

"And you are?" She asked with a hint of attitude in her voice. Charlotte could feel how the others eyes on her and how they were wondering what she was up to.

"The name is Regulus Black." He said with a smirk on his face. She put on a surprised look on her face, even though she knew exactly who he was.

"Black? Like Sirius brother?"

"Yes, in fact I'm."

"Wow, I would never guessed that." She said still faking how surprised she was. The smirk she had on the inside was just waiting to come out.

"You should start hanging out with the better brother. I'm sure I could show you a much better time." He was sill smirking and now he was also letting his eyes roaming over the girls body.

Sirius saw how his brother was looking at the girl in front of him and he wanted to punch him and pull her behind him so she was safe from his brothers eyes. They never had a good relationship like other siblings have, it got even worse when Sirius got disowned. They hadn't had a real conversation since.

Charlotte changed her expression to the smirk that had been dying to come out and took a step forward and put a hand on Regulus chest. She started to run her fingers up and down his chest and sometimes letting them wander a little bit to low.

Everyone was looking at her with big eyes and couldn't believe what she was doing. Sirius didn't know what to think, he could hear his heart beating in his ears and just wanted it to stop.

"I'm already hanging out with the better brother, and I don't think you could handle showing all this a good time." She whispered in his ear, but loud enough that everyone else could hear it as well.

Behind her everyone was trying to hold back a laugh, and even Regulus friends that had joined behind him had a hard time not letting a laugh slip at that reply.

"It was nice meeting you." Charlotte said and pulled back from Regulus with a smirk on her face. Regulus was standing there with his mouth open not knowing what to do.

"Close your mouth sweetheart, you'll catch flies." She said and blew him a kiss before she turned around facing her friends.

Her friends almost had the same expression as Regulus. They had not though she would handle the situation like that. She chuckled at them and before they could comment anything about what had happened she had walked out of the great hall.

"Did she really just do that?" James asked still shocked after what he had seen.

"I think she did." Remus replied with amusement clear in his voice. She wouldn't have a problem handling the people here, thats for sure.

"Are you coming or not?" They all snapped out of their shocked state and turned around seeing the red-head standing in the doorway with her hands on her hips waiting for them.

The rest of the day passed without anything special happening. Everyone was interested in the new girl, who she was and how she looked like. It was already going around rumors about Charlotte and everyone had already heard about what had happened that morning with Regulus and his friends. Regulus wasn't so happy when he heard about it and had tried to change the rumor. When she was asked about it Charlotte just smirked and shrugged her shoulder not giving away any details about the mornings events.

The week continued in the same way, nothing interesting had happened. The rumors were still going around and Marlene and Charlotte was starting to dislike each other more and more. Alice was the only one that had started to notice. Lily was as oblivious as always about everything.

"So how was your first week here?" Lily asked as she sat down next to Charlotte at the gryffindor table friday morning.

"It's been good. I've had you guys by my side all the time." Charlotte smiled big at her mother. It was still weird to think that this seventeen-year-old girl sitting next to her was her mother. It was the same thing with James.

"That's great! I'm so happy for you. And now you'll get to experience your first weekend here in the castle."

Lily and Charlotte continued to gossip about what was happening this weekend in the castle. Apparently some ravenclaws were trowing a party in the room of requirement and Lily wanted Charlotte to go with them. She had been trying to convince her to come the whole week.

"But come on Lottie! It'll be fun! Do it for me." Lily said and this time she pulled out the puppy eyes. Charlotte was trying so hard not to let Lilys puppy eyes get to her but in the end it did work. Charlotte was just about to say that she would go when Alice joined them at the table.

"What are you two talking about?" Alice asked after she had sat down next to Lily.

"Lottie doesn't want to go to the party tomorrow." When Alice heard this she gasped.

"Lottie you have to go. Everyone is going and it's the first party of the year."

"Okay, okay, I'll think about it." This made the two girls smile and they were already discussing what to wear to the party. Charlotte chuckled and shook her head at her friends, but she couldn't help but to smile.

The smile didn't last long as a fourth girl joined them at the table. The tension between Marlene and Charlotte had been growing all week.

"Hello." Marlene said with a smile as she sat down on the other side of Lily. She didn't look at Charlotte and it was almost like she was pretending that Charlotte wasn't there.

"Hi, are you going to the party tomorrow night?" Alice asked her friend. She hated that Charlotte and Marlene couldn't get along. She could see how Charlotte was rolling her eyes at how the blond girl was ignoring her.

"Of course, it's the first party of the year. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"See Lottie, you can't miss the first party of the year." Lily said and pointing to Marlene still trying to convince Charlotte to come.

"You aren't going to the party?" Marlene asked with raised eyebrows. Now she was looking at the new girl and on the inside she was hoping that what Lily had said was true. It would be nice to have one night without the new girl there to mess it up. Maybe she finally could get Sirius to notice her if Charlotte wasn't there.

"Lily and Alice are trying to convince me to go, so I guess I don't have any other choice." Charlotte said with a shrug. She saw how Marlenes face fell. Charlotte had figured out Marlenes plans and she couldn't help but to smirk a little. Marlene changed her expression to faked smile and tried not to show how much this was getting to her. After that Marlene changed the subject and they left the party talk for the rest of the morning.

James was sitting in the common room deep in thought thinking about the new girl. He really liked her. Not romantically he had Lily, but like family and he couldn't understand why he was caring so much about her after just one week of knowing her. He had seen how Sirius was looking at her and was hoping that she wouldn't hurt him.

"Hi Prongs, what's up?" When you speak of the devil, or think about them anyway. Sirius had been sitting in front of his best friend for the last ten minutes wondering what James was thinking about. James was so lost in his thought that he hadn't even noticed him.

"Oh, Hi Padfoot. I was just thinking about Lottie." This made Sirius frown. Why was his best friend thinking about Lottie? He had Lily, he didn't need to go after Lottie too.

"Why are you thinking about her?" It came out a little more harsh than he wanted to but James just shrugged it of. He knew his friend was jealous and this made him smile, at least on the inside.

"Not like that, I have Lily. I'm just curious about her. We don't really know anything about her and who she is." Sirius was happy when he heard the first thing, he didn't want to have to fight his friend for a girl. Now it was just all the other guys in the castle.

Sirius thought about what his friend told him, he didn't know much about the new girl. All they knew the girls had told them.

"Maybe we should just talk to her?" Sirius said with a questioning look on his face. He didn't want to ruin it with her because she felt uncomfortable by all the question he knew his friend would ask her.

"That sounds good. I'm gonna get the map. We can found her and ask her right away." James said onboard with what his friend suggested and before Sirius could answer James had run up the stairs and was searching after the map.

"Where is it?" James asked himself as he dug around his stuff. He had to get more organized, or maybe just clean more.

It didn't take him too long to find the map and just when he did he realized he could have used magic to find it quicker. He let out a sigh and just shook his head before he opened the map and pointed his wand at it.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." James said and the ink started to spread over the map. It didn't take long before it was ready to be used and he opened it so he could find Charlotte. But when he did he saw something that startled him.

James closed the map and ran down to the common room not even looking at Sirius before rushing for the portrait.

"Hey, where are you going?" Sirius called after his friend.

"I have a thing I forgot I had to do. I'll be back in a bit." Sirius didn't believe his friend but before he could say anything James was gone.

James ran through the castle searching for the person he needed to talk to. He new where she was so it didn't take him long to find her.

"I have to talk to you." James said out of breath for running all the way from the common room.

"Okay, sure." Charlotte said confused, not understanding why James wanted to talk to her.

"Alone." He said with a serious tone this time. She was getting even more confused and turned to look over at Lily. Who shrugged and was looking just as confused as Charlotte was feeling. Charlotte nodded and nodded at her friends before she followed James to a place they could talk in private.

When they were alone and he pulled out the map she froze. She had forgotten about the map.

"Can you explain this?" He said almost sounding mad as he pointed to the map and where she could see his name and hers next to it. It said Charlotte Potter.
