I never fidget, so why was I fidgetting now? The nerves are present, making their appearances every time i looked down. My dark denim yeans are little distraction as we drive, becuase this paticular pair has no holes. I close my eyes, letting Conor's voice soothe my unsettlement somewhat. It was crazy to think that I would soon be meeting him. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those pathetic teeny bopper fangirls who cry at the mention of his name. He helped me through a really tough time, is all. My revere is abruptly interupted when I feel the engine switch off and the car stop shaking beneath me. The butterflies started doing laps. Mum looked over to me, giving me a small smie.
"Go get 'em, Annie. I don't know why he wouldn't pick you."
I get out, fixing my woolen jumper as my converses touch the pavement. I turn and look.
"Woah.."
Standing in front of a massive building with at least 30 floors is pretty intimidating, no less the girls walking in. You could see what colour their underwear was if they were wearing any, and I wasn't trying at all. I suddenly felt as though I had no chance. How could someone like myself compare to women as gorgeous as them? They must have noticed me looking, as they turned and glared at me. Sighing, I followed them inside, hoping that we would end up on different floors.
No such luck. When I asked the smiling receptionist for directions to floor 27, she simply looked at me pittyingly, saying, "Follow those women over there."
I stayed at least 2 metres behind them. We all cramed into one elevator, them making sure I was first in and last out.
