"Roric will soon get want he wants."
That sentence continued to play over and over in my head. My grip tightened around her shoulders. Zander came over and roughly grabbed her as I slipped off of her. Zen and Sonia came in and dragged her down to the dungeon. I however sat there on the floor, staring at it like it was the last thing I was going to see. My mind wouldn't stop the thoughts going over and over and my body wouldn't stop shivering.
Roric knew my location. Everyone here is in danger. I whimpered in my thoughts. Everyone was shivering as well. We all blame ourselves for not realizing it sooner. My body was trembling faster. Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around me, sparks cascading down my body. My nerves started to slow down and my breathing calmed.
"We'll head back to the Dragon kingdom tomorrow." Sen told me.
"But what if he is on his way already?" I looked up to him. My eyes showing my fear.
"Don't worry my love." Sen engulfed me into a hug. I took comfort in it. Suddenly I felt a poke on my neck and then I was casted into darkness.
                              ****
I awoke to the sound of a familiar snore. I looked to my right. I found Ryu and Grim sleeping soundly, hugging my arm. Kawaii was on my left while Sen slept on top of me again. I blinked a couple of times, confused to the max.
How did we get back here? I asked my heritages.
I have no idea. They said as they were waking up as well.
"You're awake." Ryu whispered into my ear. I turned my attention back onto him. His red eyes gazing at me. "Sleep well beautiful." He smiled.
     "Sort of." I softly spoke.
"Now why's that?" Kawaii's voice rung in my ear this time. His breath hit my neck which made a shiver go down my spine. Sen and Grim were the last ones to stir. They all stared at me lovingly.
                               ****
When the sun hit my eyes through the cracks of the curtains, that's when my body decided to get up. I stiffly sat up. I looked around. My mates were scattered around on my bed with the blanket wrapped around their lower halves. I maneuvered around them and then went to the dresser. Sorely, I walked into the bathroom.
After a quick shower, I decided to take a nice soak in the hot tub. The warmth of the water seeped deeply into my bones, relieving my poor body some of it strain. Once finished, I quietly dressed and did my daily routine before heading back into the room. The bed was empty. I shrugged as I walked over to the dressers and closet to pack everything into my duffle bag. Luckily everything was freshly washed. Making sure everything of mine was accounted for, I headed towards the bedroom door for the last time. I looked over my shoulder and glanced around the room. A lone tear escaped my eye. I quickly wiped it away and closed the door behind me. I headed towards the dining hall.
Zander and Lynet were already at the table, sitting a little ways from me. I noticed that he had his duffle bag ready and hanging behind him. Lynet leaned on him, staring up at him lovingly. It really broke my heart that I would have to break them up so soon. I did argue with my brother after he found Lynet to stay with her but he refused. Of course he wanted to stay with his mate but he had his duty to fulfill. Nothing like making me feel like crap.
I quietly sat down in my usual seat. I stared at the wooden table in front of me, noting each groove and abnormality. It seemed to get my mind off of things.
     "Aiyana?" Lynet's voice called.
So much for that. Dangelo chuckled.
"Yes Lynet?" I looked up at her. She softly smiled at me before gently clasping my hand. My eyes moved towards her and landed upon her right shoulder. A white wolf with blue eyes now resided there and it had wing like shape behind it. That was the sign that they were finally mates.
"It's alright. Please don't worry." She explained. I didn't know if she was talking about the Roric situation or their situation. I sighed.
     "I wish I could." I smiled half-heartedly.
                               ****
I shrugged my duffle bag into my shoulder as I got ready to depart. My heart felt extremely heavy. I turned to everyone I loved. Tears threatened to break through their dam. I went to say goodbye to everyone. They were a little torn as well. I said goodbye to my grandparents before they left as well so Caelan and my other mates wouldn't find me. Sen came over with Zen right behind him. Sen gave me once last hug before he kissed my head.
"Be careful out there okay?" Sen placed a hand against my cheek.
"I'll be fine. I got Zander and Zen with me." I smiled half-heartedly. Ryu also gave me a hug from behind.
     "No! Don't go!" He screamed.
"You know I have to." I patted his head. When I felt him tighten his grasp, I sighed. "Brutus?!"
"Come on Ryu." Brutus shook his head while he pried him off of me. "Bye Aiyana. Be safe."
"I will." I smiled a sad smile. He nodded and dragged Ryu off. He was already having a fit. Got to love Dragon mates.
Cleo, Sage, Alaster and Travis were having a hard time letting me go. I smiled and gave a big hug.
"I promise to be back soon." I whispered to them. They nodded and backed up from me. The last one to approach was Kawaii. His eyes were casted to the ground. I could smell and sense his anger and fear. I knew he understood why I was doing this. "I promise to see you soon."
"I guess it back to chasing." He chuckled. "You know you're a hard one to catch."
"That's what makes it fun." I smirked. I gave him a hug. When I pulled back, I placed myself by Zen and Zander. "I love you all."
"Love you too." Everyone shouted back.
"Aiyana, Zander, Zen." Raphael shouted from the sky. He hovered above us. "You have to leave now."
Grim came around on his pooka, ready to leave. I climbed on and waited for Zander to say his goodbyes. Once he hopped onto the back of the pooka, Grim whipped the reins. Zen flew after us. The pooka sped off to the airport, leaving my life behind me.
As we rode, I couldn't help but bury my face into Grim's back. The tears finally pushed through. A wet spot started to form on his shirt. I gently tightened my hold onto him. I didn't want to let him go. He was the last part of this island I was going to miss. I even missed Brutus, the only friend I made in the Dragon kingdom. It hurt saying goodbye to him as well.
Suddenly something tackled me, throwing me across the ground. Luckily I let go of Grim. I summersaulted across the ground, cuts and bruises already forming on my skin. I crashed against a tree, making my head slam roughly against the bark. I looked ahead and I could see a blurred figure coming towards me. I tried to get my mind to focus on the figure in front of me instead of spinning around in circles. Finally the figure started to blur in and out between two to one before it fully became one. My breath hitched when my eyes landed upon the one person I didn't expect to see here. My hands tightened against my duffle bag strap, palms already sweating.
"Seth?!" My voice came out a little high. His blue eyes glared angrily at my small frame. I stiffly got to my feet but I didn't move from my spot. I held up a hand when I saw Grim grasping his sword that was attached to his saddle. Zander had a hard time staying put. Zen had his hand on his katana. Seth elegantly strode up to me, his body language showing his anger. He slammed his hands against the tree on each side of my head. I could feel the tree crack and splinter underneath his strike.
"Do you realize how much panic you have caused?" Seth hissed.
"Seth, I left for a good reason. Just like I am leaving now. Roric is coming and he will kill you."
"I don't care Aiyana." He growled before he pulled me into his embrace and kissed me hard against the lips. He inhaled my scent. "Do you know how much I missed you?"
"I miss you all too. That's why I have to do this." I whispered into his ear.
"Do...?" He said before he passed out from my spell. I caught him in my arms. A tear trickled down my cheek. I gently placed him to the ground before pulling out my cell and dialed for Jason.
     "Hello?"
     "Hey it's me."
"Oh hey. Did you get on your flight yet?"
     "We have a minor problem."
     "What could that be?"
"Seth." I whispered through the phone.
"What?" He screamed. "I'll be right there."
     "Just follow the horse tracks."
"Okay." He cut off his end of the line. Within two minutes, I could pick up Jason's scent. I heard Seth start to stir.
Gods damnit Seth. I mentally cursed as I started to back up towards everyone. Jason was already in sight when Seth sprung to life and looked at me. His eyes were no longer blue but red. Jason pounced onto Seth before he could go after me. He was struggling against him.
"Go now." He screamed as he pinned down Seth. I nodded with tears in my eyes as I turned and went over to Grim. He quickly helped me up and sped off once Zander got on again. Zen following us fast. I closed my eyes hoping to get everything out of my mind. Another darkness washed over me.
I awoke to a yammering female over a loudspeaker. I jolted up, looked around and only to find out that I was on a plane and Zander and Zen on each side of me. I blinked in confusion. Zander was fast asleep whereas Zen was wide awake, reading a magazine.
"How long was I out?" I asked him.
"The whole plane ride." He stated as he placed the magazine back into the pounce in front of him.
"Wait we are in Russia?" I looked out the window. It was still daylight out. It was actually pretty fast.
"Yes. We are beginning our descent." Zen said.
"You know you can be normal around me. Just because I'm your Queen doesn't mean I'm not your friend." I whispered the last sentence. I didn't want the humans to look at us weird.
"I know but it's hard to break habit." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"There now you are getting comfortable." I smiled as I poked his cheek. He rolled his eyes at me but smiled.
"Aiyana not to hurt you but who was that vampire?" He whispered.
"That was one of my other mates." I whispered back.
     "Oh. Sorry."
"It's alright." I smiled warmly at him, though on the inside it was killing me. "Did he follow us?"
"I don't think so." He shook his head. "I don't sense him or see him." I nodded. "Oh Aiyana?"
     "Yes?"
"What was that weird thing that happened with your eye?" Zen asked while leaning closer to me.
"It's a side effect. You see I'm currently share a piece of my soul with someone I love. It usually appears when that person is either contacting me or their soul is inside my body. But if you see my eye like that and my body isn't moving. My soul went to their body." I explained while keeping it a whisper. He nodded.
     "Alright."
     "Really? That's it?"
"I'm sure you have your reasons and no reason to harp on your about it. It's already been done."
"Thank you Zen." I smiled as I leaned against him when my grogginess caught up to me again. He flinched underneath my touch but I was trying to keep my head from spinning as we got lower to the ground. This was one of the reasons I didn't like human machines.
                                ****
When we landed, we immediately headed towards the outskirts of Moscow. We decided to head north where there wasn't any civilization around for miles. Once out of the city and away from prying eyes, Zander and I shifted into our wolf forms after we put our clothes into our duffle bags. Zen almost flew out of his skin.
Zen, please climb on my back. It will be faster this way. I thought to him. He nodded picked up our duffle bags and hopped onto my back. Zander and I raced through the forests until we were a very good distance away from any people. We even found a respectable cave for us to live in for now. We climbed into the cave once we smelled for any current occupants, which there was none. We curled up next to each other with Zen in between us. We radiated enough heat to warm him.
"So how long do we stay for now?" Zen asked as he snuggled deeper into my fur. "Ooo so soft." He smiled. I chuckled.
I was planning on going to Japan or maybe Greece after a few weeks. Think you can hold out? I asked Zen.
"Yeah." I stared at the ceiling. "And don't worry about me. This winter is nothing." He said with a yawn. I nodded and once he saw my approval, he fell asleep against me.
He must of been tired from constantly protecting us. Zander pointed out.
Well he deserves a well good rest. So do you. I'll take first watch. I nuzzled his snout. He nodded as he yawned and curled his neck around mine. He fell asleep with his head on my shoulders.
I rolled my eyes and laid my head down, looking at the entrance. Now that I was alone, I could really feel the weight of my reality. Roric was coming and there is nothing I could do about it.
     Sen?
     Yes dear? He responded.
Please release Rose and banish her from the Fae kingdom. I don't need our kingdom to suffer because of one traitor.
     Why?
I have a feeling Roric will come after you if you hold his mate too long.
True. I know I would if I knew you were held captive.
And if you can make sure you move the entrance to the Fae kingdom. Don't need her to lead him straight to you.
Wise thinking. I could hear the smoke in his voice. I'll respond back once I have finished everything.
Okay. Talk to you soon. Love you.
Love you too my sweet. After that, his link cut off, leaving me once again in my loneliness. I sighed as I rested while looking out the cave entrance. It slowly started to rain but I didn't care. It was something different from the standard forestry in front of me. A sudden movement caught my eye in the bushes by the tree. I lifted my head and slowly got up, making sure not to disturb Zen and Zander. I put him against my brother's coat before I walked towards the entrance. I sat in the darkness of the cave while I called upon Donohue's sight. His sight allowed me to zoom in towards the bushes.
I saw two white ears that kind of reminded me of my brothers only a lot different. I zoomed in my vision again and I saw a guy around my age. He had pale skin that made his white hair even brighter. He had light green eyes that reminded me of sun shining on dewy grass. He was beautiful beyond compare. With his ears, it made me wonder what kind of mystic he was. My vision zoomed back out and went back to normal. I got to my feet and walked out. I could see his ears twitch because of my height, so I knew he caught the noise of me moving. When he saw my huge form, his eyes grew wide and he backed up a little. I saw him grab ahold of a bow and notched an arrow. I arched my brow at him, but I proceeded with caution.
He pulled the bow back when I continued to come towards him. I stopped meters front of him and sat down. He was still down wind from me so I could catch his scent. But I however noticed that all of his clothes were green and he had a different white tail coming from his ass like my brothers. I tilted my head sideways and he mocked me. He slowly lowered his bow and arrow as we continued to stare at each other.
"Aiyana? You shouldn't be wandering around." Zen said with a yawn. His face, though upside, faced mine. I looked at him and shook my head.
     You should be sleeping.
"And you should be my pillow. But you passed me off to someone who had stiffer fur."
I saw something move outside. So I came to investigate.
"Oh really now." Zen turned right side up and looked to where I was previously looking. "I don't see anything."
I shifted to my human skin and stared at the spot that used to have the boy.
"I swear that he was right here." I growled. Zen shrugged his shoulder and hovered over my head like Sen used to. "You two are almost practically brothers."
"What Sen and I?" He asked while staring me straight in the eye.
"Yes. I swear to gods that you two are cut from the same cloth. But I'm not crazy. I saw him here." I said while I walked to the spot he just was. "He was staring in this direction and when I came forward he had a bow and arrows."
"You might have saw an elf." He yawned.
"Oh." I walked back over to him. I pinched his cheeks.
     "Ow, ow, ow." He whined.
"You made me think I was crazy you little twerp." I smiled evilly. He just laughed. I think we finally broke the ice between us. We went from warrior and master to friends. "I guess I have to suit up some raid." I sighed. "And a flyswatter."
     "What are those?" He asked.
"It's a secret." I smiled wickedly as I shifted back into my wolf form.
"Hey not fair." He huffed as he followed me back into the cave.
                                 ****
*Unknown POV*

I went out for a hunt when I saw big wolf prints on the ground. Two sets of them to be exact. I couched next to the prints and dragged my fingers across the dirt. I rubbed my fingers together and inspected the dirt. From the looks of it, it's fresh. I strapped the bow and quiver tight against my body as I followed the trail. I sprinted as fast as I could until I came upon the entrance of a big cave. I noticed that the paw prints went inside the cave. I creeped up into the nearby bushes and waited for it to come out.
My ears twitched when I heard movement. Soon enough an enormous white wolf came out of the cave. My eyes grew wide as I backed up a little. I quickly fastened my bow and notched an arrow. The wolf stopped for a moment, looked at me curiously before it proceeded with caution. I pulled back the arrow and aimed it at the wolf as it continued towards me. But it soon stopped and sat down meters away from me. Thankfully I sat down wind from it so it wouldn't be able to catch my scent. It tilted its head and I couldn't help but follow along. I slowly lowered my bow and let down my arrow.
I only could admire this beautiful creature. It maybe huge but it is insanely gorgeous. I couldn't kill this creature.
"Aiyana? You shouldn't be wandering around." A man came flying out the cave and hovered upside down in front of the wolf's face. The wolf looked up at the fairy.
"And you should be my pillow. But you passed me off to someone who had stiffer fur." He responded to the wolf.
Was he actually responding to the wolf? Well in any way I might as well take my leave and I'll come back later.
When I reached the outskirts of my village, I sighed and stood up proudly. I heard whispers as I entered the gate.
"Look it's the half breed." One woman whispered to another.
"Why would the chief let him stay here?" One man scowled.
Once I got to the safety of my home, I closed the door and collapsed to the ground. My ears flattened against my head as I wrapped my arms around my legs and pulled them tight against my chest. I stared ahead at the wooden floor.
"Why?" I kept asking myself that over and over again. Why would my parents get together? Why was I the only one different in this village? Who would ever thought that a Neko and a Elf would get together?
I buried my face into my legs and thought about that wolf. If I managed to kill it or tame it, I wouldn't be a laughing stock of the village.
I will get it one way or another.
                              ****
*Aiyana's POV*

I couldn't get that elf out of my head. He seemed different and I couldn't put my finger on it. I sighed as I fell asleep with everyone after dinner but I was still going to be on high alert. I snuggled up to Zen and Zander. Zen smiled as he buried himself deeper in my fur. I yawned and closed my eyes, letting darkness consume me.
When I awoke, I stood and stretched out my body. For some odd reason, I had a dreamless sleep and I couldn't get to my heritages at all. Which I found odd. I shook out my fur and walked out to the edge of the cave. The warmth of the sunlight warmed my body and made me relax. Zen groggily got to his feet and walked over to Zander, only to plop down on him. I chuckled at this sight. I turned a bit and sniffed the air. I tried to find any traces of water. I finally got ahold of the scent and followed it away from the cave.
As I walked towards the water, I looked around trying to find something for breakfast. It was a bit difficult compared to Ireland and Alaska but I'll manage some how. At the little pond, I sat at the edge of it and stared down at my reflection. I sighed as I looked at the wolf before me. It seems that a lot has happened within these two months. My eyes narrowed as I recollected all the memories of my mates. Some of them had a horrible way of introducing themselves as my mate. Shaking those thoughts out of my head, I took a couple sips of water.
Suddenly I felt a pinch in my rib area. I blinked in confusion as I turned my head and twisted my body a little. I found an arrow sticking out of my rib cage. My eyes widened as I continued to look at was happening.
Everyone prepare! I'm going to rip it out. I said as I grabbed ahold of it.
Wait! Dangelo shouted but it was too late. I ripped it out of my side. A howl of pain escaped my mouth. And with how loud it was, I won't be surprised that Zander and Zen heard. Another pinch came, this time at my stomach. I whimpered in pain as I ripped this one out too. I noticed that the bleeding wouldn't stop, no matter how hard my heritages worked. My legs felt a little wobbly as the strength drained from them. I collapsed to the ground as I slowly bled out. A sudden flapping of two sets of wings were heard. I opened my eyes to the noise and found Zen and Zander running over to me. Zen skid on his knees and inspected my wounds. My brother ran over to my head and placed his hands on my face.
"Aiyana. What ever you do don't fall asleep." Zander commanded but as soon as he said something my eyelids started to droop. Zen came over to me as Zander took to the skies.
"Aiyana my queen please don't die on me." Zen's eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry that I'm a horrible protector."
My body forcibly shifted back to my human skin. I placed a hand to his cheek as I fought to remain conscious. A loud eagle like screech was heard.
"Zen do not beat yourself up. I left without your permission. You were exhausted and I didn't want to wake you up for my personal needs." I moved his hair out of his face. "Don't worry. I will survive this and then you can scold me and stick to my side like glue. Okay?"
He grasped my hand when it started to fall and nodded furiously. Two sets of wings landed next to me. Zander came into view. He had quite the scary face but what terrified me was my Uncle Raphael's scary face. He came stomping over and evilly glared at me. He picked it up and inspected the arrows that laid next to me, noticing something.
"It's laced with a poison." Raphael threw the arrow into the ground. "It's a combination of a tranquilizer and a anticoagulant. A blood thinner." He explained when Zen and Zander looked at him. "But with this mixture I can't heal. I need the antidote for this before I can do anything."
"Where would we get the antidote?"
"From whoever shot this arrow." Raphael said while looking at the arrows venomously.
"Excuse me?" A angelic voice rung into my ears. We all looked to the voice of the owner. I stared at the elven boy from yesterday. "Are you looking for the antidote?"
"Yes." Raphael glared at the elven boy evilly. The boy flinched but nodded. He came over, making Zen and Zander hover protectively over my body. He approached my uncle. He kindly reached behind him and pulled out a small vile of a purplish liquid. Raphael snatched it from his hand and inspected this liquid. When he nodded his confirmation, Zen and Zander relaxed but I could see their hatred in their eyes. I guess I had to scold them later. "How do I use this?"
"I will happily apply it to her. It's the least I can do to apologize." His ears laid on top of his head, showing his regret.
"So it was you who harmed my sister?!" Zander growled and was in front of him in the matter of seconds, holding him by the collar of his shirt. Raphael smacked him upside the head.
"Boy go by your sister and be quiet." Raphael hissed. Zander glared venomously at him but complied. He placed the boy down before taking his place beside me. "And you. You may do what you need to do but one wrong move against my niece and I will personally kill you." He warned. The boy gulped and nodded. He gently took the vile from Raphael's hand and came over to me.
My breathing was starting to become a hard pant as I was fighting to keep my body awake. His eyes showed his guilt. He popped the top of the bottle and put some in his mouth. He leaned in and kissed me on the lips. I heard a couple of warning growls erupt from everyone. My body jumped at the sudden sparks that shook me to my core. As he pushed the liquid into my mouth, I sniffed him. The mouthwatering scent of morning glory flooded my senses. The liquid made its way down my throat and throughout my body. I could feel it immediately start working. When he pulled back, is when I started to miss his closeness.
How is it that we meet our mates in the most weirdest ways? Tiana huffed. I chuckled. I slowly raised my hand and gave him a soft smile. The sparks sending waves of pleasure throughout my body.
"Thank you mate." I whispered into his ear. Which made him blush.
"What did you do to my sister?" Zander started to go after the boy. Loki saw this and immediately pushed forward. My body no longer was by Zen and Raphael but in front of Zander and the boy. "Loki stay out of this. He hurt Aiyana."
"And I won't allow you to hurt my heritor's mate." He growled at my brother, daring him to challenge us. We could see Thor trying to take over Zander's body.
"Enough you two." Raphael roared. "Zander get over here now and behave. Aiyana get over here and sit still so I can heal you."
I flinched as Loki retreated back. We've never seen Raphael so angry before but we complied to what he ordered. I played with my bottom lip out of nervousness as Raphael concentrated on healing my wounds. It seemed that even with the antidote he was having a hard time healing me. It was three quarters of the way healed before he dropped his hands. I looked to my uncle and found sweat on his brow and his breathing was labored. He was already exhausted long before he healed me.
"Thank you Raphael. I'll do the rest. Please get some rest." I placed a hand to his cheek and made him look at me.
"Pft." Raphael waved me off. "I'll be fine."
"Uncle Raphael. Please, for me." I gave him my famous puppy dog face. He closed his eyes.
"Nope, not falling for that one again." I grasp his arm, making him look at him. His eyes came in contact with mine. "Agh." He grunted in defeat. "Fine. God I'm such a push over." He mumbled the last part. I smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I waved goodbye to him as he took off into the skies. When I knew he was gone, I collapsed back onto the ground. My breathing was still a little heavy.
"Why did you send him away?" Zander growled.
"He was deadly exhausted Zander. He was probably up for gods how long because he was protecting us along with Michael." I explained. "Besides my life is no longer in danger."
"Excuse me?" The boys voice drifted into my ears. Everyone looked over towards him. "Are you alright?" He asked while he came closer to me.
"Stay away from my sister." Zander growled while Zen held me steady. I could see a small blush to his cheeks because he didn't know how to handle my nakedness. He helped me shuffle over to my brother. When I was behind him, I hit upside the head.
"Geez reel it in." I scolded. Zander pretended like nothing happened. I looked to the elven boy. "Yes. Just not fully healed is all."
"I'm sorry." His ears flattened even more onto his head. His tail drooped as well. I looked to Zen and Zander. They've helped me over to him. I made him look at me.
"It's fine." I smiled at him. "I just need some rest now."
"You all can come to my village and rest." He offered. "I don't think staying in the cave will help your wounds."
My brother was about to say something but Zen beat him to it.
"Thank you for the nice gesture. We'll happily oblige." Zen smiled at him. The elven boy smiled. Zander shook his head.
"I'll be right back." Zander disappeared for a few moments before he came back with all of our stuff. "Alright, lead the way." He said after he help me get dressed. I didn't think we should offend the elves any more than we have. The elven boy picked me up bridal style, leaving my brother and Zen speechless. He turned towards a different direction and had them follow him.
In about an hour, we came upon the gate of the village. Well I assumed it was. It slowly opened when he approached. As soon as he walked in, that's when it began.
"Hey it's the half breed again." One of the villagers mumbled.
"What is that he carrying? He has sullied it with his pathetic hands." Another scoffed.
"Alyan. Why do you bring outsiders into our village?" A older man question the elven boy. At least I have a name now.
"She has been hurt. Isn't apart of Elven code to help other when needed?" Alyan (Ahl-yahn) stared straight at the older man. I couldn't help notice the differences between Alyan and the older man. They both had pale skin. Almost the same color hair but the older man had more blonde in it. And the major differences were the ears and lack of tail. The older man only had pointed ears, making him look more human than Alyan.

(Alyan only picture him with cat ears and a tail.)
The man scowled. He moved his arm ready to slap him. Alyan braced himself but the impact never came. My eyes widened when I saw Zen and Zander hold the guy's arm back.
"We haven't come here to cause any harm. I just want my Queen healed and we will leave." Zen answered, revealing his wings. Why? I haven't the faintest idea. The elven man wretched his hand back as he stared at Zen's wings. The elven man scowled but stepped aside. Zander and Zen stood next to Alyan as he carried me towards a house. I looked over his shoulder and saw the evil glares sent his way. I was wondering why he didn't flinch that much when Zen, Zander and Raphael yelled at him.
When we came upon his house, it was truly magnificent. It was a little modern looking but instead of electricity it looked like magical orbs in the lamps. There was a walkway towards his house. It was a two story tree house, well it looked like one from what I could tell. He gracefully cradled me in his arm as he opened the door with his other. On the inside, it made me want to cry. You could tell this house was handcrafted by the best.

(Alyan's house)

The first thing I could see was the kitchen, dinning and living room areas. You could tell it didn't have human living arrangements but it still fascinated me how the elves made it look so humanistic. There was two chairs over by a fireplace with little trinkets around the room. Next to the fireplace there was a book shelf filled with books. I wondered if they were written in human or elven script. There was a little sitting spot above the balcony.
He walked in more and turned to his right. I could see a china cabinet looking thing filled with dishes. When I looked beyond that, I saw a room with two made twin beds. There was two ladders climbing to things I couldn't see from here. I also noticed a door under the second ladder on opposite side of the kitchen. It must be the bathroom. Instead of bringing me to one of the twin beds, he jumped to up to the ledge that stood over the kitchen. When he straightened, I saw a queen bed with two magic lamps on each side of it. I could see a wooden shutter that kept the window closed. This home was so beautiful. I liked this a lot more than any palaces, mansions or pack houses that I've been in.
He pulled back the sheets and laid me down in the soft bed. It felt like I was resting on a cloud. It took all my resistance to wiggle around and envelope myself into the blankets and pillows. He walked over to the ledge and jumped off. While he was gone, I did what I restricted myself to do. But as soon as I heard him come back, I stopped. He smiled and shook his head. I noticed that he had some medical supplies. Well I assumed that's what they were.

(Inside Alyan's house)

"You can sleep here tonight if you want."
"Thank you Alyan." I softly smiled at him as I slowly sat up. "Is it possible for me to bathe so I don't get any blood on this gorgeous bed?"
"Yes." He placed the medical supplies on the bed next to me.
He once again picked me up bridal and jumped gracefully down onto the bottom floor. He went to the door on the opposite behind the ladder and opened the door. On the other side revealed a unique but beautiful bathroom. There were three windows on one side of the bathroom with brilliant white curtains. While a wooden looking bath sat in the middle of the room. I glanced to my left and found a door, probably for the toilet and sink. There was nicely folded towels at the end of the tub. Again I was amazed at the plumbing. A  beautiful magic chandelier hovered above the tub. He lowered me down so I could stand. I used the wall as a leaning post while he walked over to the tub. The turned some knobs and I could see hot water starting to fill up. Once filled to a good amount, he turned it off and came over to me.
"Do you want your brother to help you or...?" Alyan blushed as he casted his eyes away from me. I missed his green eyes.
"You can help me." I offered with a smile. "Is it only natural for mates?"
"I guess but I don't know what you mean when you say we are mates?" His cheeks turned a crimson red.
"Mates? Don't your kind have something like that. Like one life partner." I explained as best as I could.
"Is that what it's called?" He thought about it. "Yeah I guess we do. My parents died before they could tell me anything about mates."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up a bad past."
"It's alright." He laughed. "You're too cute."
"Okay." I said with a blush to my cheeks.
"So I'm really your mate?" He asked me. I nodded and gently gripped his hand. The familiar sparks tingled throughout my body. He flinched for a moment. "What was that? Those sparks I mean."
"That's one of the signs we are mates."
"But I shock people all the time."
"Silly not from static shock. You see how it's going on longer than that?"
"Oh that's true." He stared at our intertwined hands. "So we are mates?"
"Yes. If you would like for us to be." I smiled. He stared at me.
"Why would you want a freak like me?" His ears dropped to his head as he looked away from me. I shook my head and pulled his chin towards me so he could look at me.
"You're not a freak. You are special like me. You're a hybrid and I wouldn't want you any other way." I softly spoke as I placed my forehead against his. I could see his tail swish with happiness. I smiled.
"So you're a hybrid like me?" He tilted his head. I nodded. "What species are you?"
"I'm werewolf, seeing as you saw my form. I'm vampire, demon, Angel, mermaid and witch."
"Wow. That's a lot." His ears shot up with his surprise.
"Yes. It can be awfully crowded him here." I pointed to my head. He tilted his head in confusion. "With each heritage, I have a different personality. If that is understandable. I really never had to describe this kind of thing before." He still had that confused face. "You know how werewolves can speak with their wolves?" He nodded. "Well, I can go that with all my heritages."
"Oh okay." He nodded in understanding.
Wow, you should have just said that earlier. Loki and Tiana smirked.
     Oh hush.
"I'm a Neko and Elf hybrid." He said. "So that will explain my ears and tail."
     "Neko?"
"Cat people. They have the same ears and tail that I have but there are other races of Nekos."
     "Cool." I beamed. "Alyan?"
     "Yes?"
"Is it alright if I touch them?" I blushed as I asked the question. He blushed but nodded his head. I slowly approached him and gently touched his ears. They were so soft. His blush turned a deeper crimson. When I gently stroked his tail, I immediately smelt his arousal. "I take it that's your sweet spot." I smirked at him. If he could turn any redder, this would be it. I chuckled and kissed his cheek, leaving his poor tail alone.
"The water should be on the warm side." He cleared his throat. "Do you need any assistance?"
"No I think I'll be fine but I will call for someone if I do need it." I winked at him. He nodded and left the bathroom. I slowly took off my clothes and put them in a pile over by the window. I walked over to the water and dipped my toes in. I more of a shower kind of girl but I ain't denying a nice bath. I slipped into the water and let the water envelope me. The warmth once again seeped into my bones. This felt nice.
     Aiyana?
     Yes Zander?
It seems the village chief and elders want to meet with us.

**Wow! Okay so a lot happened. Roric has word about her and is probably on his way. Didn't expect to see Seth here! And what do you think of Aiyana's and Alyan's meeting? Shabby or no? And I wonder what the village chief and elders want? Find out next time on Forlorn.
