"get the hell away from me" i warned in a harsh voice, my hand still grasping the doorknob. josh finally gave in and let go of my arm.
before anything else could happen, i made a dash to my room, locking the door and putting a chair in front of it. i knew it would never protect me from josh, but it works in the movies, right?
i slowly made my way to the desk, my hands trailing the wood gently until it touched the sheets of paper. it was flipped upside down. i sighed before flipping it over. written in tyler's rushed handwriting, it said;

i guess if you are reading this, i'm dead. i'd like to apologize. i realize that i might of caused happiness in my disappearance, or sadness. either way i hope you find joy. hey, you're free, right? please, enjoy the last song that i wrote. i trust you. and i love you, y/n.

•my money. take all of it, don't even give any to josh. my credit card is in my pocket of the suitcase and a letter to the bank is in there as well.
•i have a house in california. the address is in the right pocket of my black jeans that is in the suitcase. the keys are in the pocket of my suitcase.
•there's plane tickets from the bahamas to california. don't bother getting back on the ship after the bahamas, use the tickets to get to my house. the tickets are in the pocket of my suitcase as well.
•my beloved yellow hoodie. take that and whatever you want clothing wise of mine.
•a stack of unreleased song lyrics from when i was young is in my house. somehow the clique leaked them, so they aren't really that exciting. but it's there if you want them.
•anything in my house. it's yours now.
•if you have musical talent, take over the band. if not, ask for lessons from josh. i also have a list of trusted friends who are musically talented that are on my desk back at home.
