" I hope your hungry." Andrew said beside me. We were on the main road driving at a decent speed. I still had no clue where we were going.

"Are you kidding? I'm starving!" I answered turning towards him. I'm guessing we'll be going somewhere to eat.

   "Good."

"Where are we going?" I wondered trying to figure out the night he had seemingly planned.

"Have you ever been to surf taco?" He wondered.

"I've heard of it, but no." I'm not really a big fan of tacos, but hopefully I don't hate it too much. That'd be terrible.

"Me neither. I thought we could try something new together." Aw how sweet. My hand rested on my thigh before he took it in his. We sat there side by side with my left hand in his.

I grew nervous at our contact. What if my hands get sweaty or I start trembling? Ugh, why did I have to be so nervous?

"Your moms nice." He started up the conversation again. I remembered how they seemed to be getting along just before. I mean that's a good thing.

Right?

"Yeah she said she likes you." I smiled.

"Tell her I'm flattered but my heart belongs to someone else." Andrew joked.

   "Andrew, she's a married women!" I laughed.

"Yeah.. that too." We both laughed at his dumb remark.

"And who has your heart may I ask?" I continued the joke.

"Well.. you of course." Andrew said so matter of factly. My face heated up at what he said. I couldn't help but smile, since that was the answer I was looking for deep down. It just surprised me a little.

Ahhhh!

It was quiet for a while, before he turned the radio on. 'Rise' by Katy Perry was playing at a medium volume. I love this song so much. I softly hummed to it until we crossed the bridge. On the other side was the busier side of town.

It was the same area where Buona Sera was. There were tons of stores and restaurants over here. It was more expensive than where we lived. In the clothing stores it costed fifty bucks just to buy a plain t-shirt from urban outfitters. Crazy I know.

I mean if it was a cute enough shirt I'd buy it, but it was just a little much.

Andrew found a parking spot on the side of the road right beside a parking meter. Since it was after six on a weekday we didn't have to pay anything.

"Wait here." He smiled. Andrew got out of the car and rushed to my door. He opened it, offering his hand for me to hold onto. I gladly took his hand and got out.

Locking his black Mazda, we linked arms. "You know you don't have to hold my door open." I reminded him.

"Yeah I know.. I wanted to." Was his response. We both walked down the semi crowded side walk. The street and store front lights were the only thing that kept us from getting lost in the darkness of the night.

It was so nice out here. "I think the place is just a few stores down."

"Is it that one?" I wondered pointing to a large sign.

"Yeah that's it."

The two of us neared the place, still linking arms. I rested my head on his shoulder. He smelt so nice. I'm guessing it's that Versace cologne he usually wears.

"What are you going to get?" I asked as we paced towards the line. I was scanning the menu for something that looked good. I didn't see anything that really looked appealing.

To be honest with you I'm really not too big on meat. It doesn't really go well with my system. "The Mavericks Burrito looks pretty chill." He answered looking over the wide selection. "How about you?"

"I don't know, I'll probably just get a smoothie." I replied giving up on the choices. I wasn't in the mood for a stomach ache so I didn't really want to try any meat.

"I thought you said you were starving ash." Andrew chuckles looking down at me.

"Yeah but I don't see anything I like." I really didn't. Everything either had beef or like chicken in it. Chicken isn't too bad but you never know. "I'm a picky eater."

"What about.. the sunsets classic?" Andrew suggested . I read over the description, squinting since my eyesight was a joke. Hmm.. chicken, rice, cheddar and jack cheese..

Good enough to me.

"Alright I'll just get that with a California dream smoothie."

"Ight go find us a table and I'll order." He gave me a peck on the forehead, before I walked towards an empty table towards the front of the restaurant. It was a small booth right by the window.

The place was filled with people, but it wasn't completely crowded to the point where you can't even stand up. There was a family with small children seated in the middle of the room. A few couples here and there, and a group of elderly.

Sitting in my seat I glanced over at Andrew ordering our food. The young lady at the register, looked like she was flirting with him. Um.. back off, please and thank you.

He's mine.

I got a good look at her and I mean, she was pretty. She had a thin but slightly curvy body at the hips. She had a few freckles gear and there on her face, with pin straight strawberry blonde hair. It fell down to her lower back.

With slightly red cheeks she placed the order into the system. When she walked away, Andrew turned around and smiled at me.

I waved with a smile and he raised his right hand. Our eyes locked and we just looked into each other's eyes from a distance for what seemed like forever until she came back.

Andrew turned around and payed for the order. She handed him a number and with that he walked back here staring at me the entire time.

"That girl was totally flirting with you." I nervously chuckled as he sat down.

"Oh yeah? She was pretty cute." I exhaled. I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.

"I guess." I looked out the window at the cars passing us by. His laughter interrupted my hissy fit.

"Ash I was joking." Andrew continued laughing. He probably noticed that it bothered me when he called that irrelevant girl cute. "Did it bother you that much?"

"Was it that obvious?" I wondered looking back at him. He smirked at me from across the table. He leaned forward resting both his hands on the table.

"I just want you know that I'm not looking at anyone but you." His eyes looked me straight in the eye. I knew that in that moment, he meant what he said.

He truly wasn't looking at anybody else. Sure he was a natural-born flirt, but deep down I knew he wasn't really going to look at another girl while he was out on a date with me. It just isn't like him.

If I knew anything about Andrew Hills, it's that he was loyal.

"Promise?" I managed to ask with a teasing smile.

"I promise." He held my hand once again, slowly aligning our palms to make it seem like we were comparing hand sizes. I felt all giddy inside at his soft touch.

It all of a sudden started getting hot in here, the more we stared at each other. "Okay good."

We sat there in silence as he formed small circles on the back of my hand with his thumb. It wasn't one of those awkward silences. It was almost as if we'd known each other our whole lives.

I just felt so comfortable with him. Being around him made me so happy. I don't know what I would've done if I'd lost him. If we never met, I'd still be with Josh and who knows how long it would've been for me to figure his angry side out.

I'm just so happy that he came into my life. If you were to tell me that I'd be this much in love with him back in December, I probably would've laughed in your face. Let's be real.

"Ahem.." we both turned towards the waitress. It was the same girl that had been flirting with Andrew. We let go, only so that she could put our food down. "Enjoy your meals." She said winking at Andrew.

She mouthed the words 'call me' before walking away. I looked over at him to see him about to burst in laughter. He picked up a small piece of paper that she most likely left in his tray. "Look at what our kind waitress left for me."

With a playful smirk on his face he handed me the ten digit phone number written on a napkin. "Ally left you her phone number. Wow look at that." I laughed.

"Score!" We both laughed at what he said before digging into the food. He ripped the napkin and threw it on the floor.

Take that ally.
