Beep! Beep! Beep!
Rolling over and hitting the snooze on my alarm clock, I notice an arm wrapped around my waist. Carefully I look behind me to become extremely shocked.
"Good morning, sunshine," he welcomes me with one of his warm hearted smiles.
My heart melts when the word sunshine rolls of his tongue, "Morning," I tell him, a little confused. "I'm not going to school," I stated, while rubbing my temples.
"I'm okay with that," he nodded his head.
"Okay, why would it be up to you anyway?" I ask him.
"Because at five Joey woke me up and said he had to go to class, so I get to watch you all day," he smirked a little.
"Well, I'm not a kid and I certainly do not need a babysitter, so go along now. Have fun," I shooed him away while smiling sweetly.
"You have a hangover?" he asked, ignoring what I had just said.
I nodded my head as the pounding of a headache began to spring up. "Badly, how much did I drink last night?" I asked him.
"Well, after you stole that cup back last night you and Ally cam-"
I cut him off before he could finish what he was saying, "Where is Ally?"
"Asleep in Joey's room," he nodded his head.
"Why there?" I asked him, curious.
"You don't remember?" He asked, one eyebrow quirked up.
I thought back to last night, "Not really," I admit a little sheepishly.
"Oh, well um, she just fell asleep in the living room so he carried her into his room and they slept together," my eyes widened as he'd stated that last part so he quickly re-said what he'd said, "They slept in the same room, same bed. Not together as in um, you know, together," he explained in a rush.
I almost laughed at his embarrassed face, "You're too cute," I rolled my eyes. He looked into my eyes and had a small smile on his lips, I cleared my throat before speaking, "Since you're to look after me today go make me breakfast," I order him.
"Glad I can cook," He chuckled to himself.
"Can you?" I asked hopeful.
"Not at all, I burn toast," He stated, "Get ready, we're going to Denny's."
"Alright, leave so I can get into the shower."

Entering the restaurant I instantly smell toast and eggs and biscuits causing my mouth to instantly water at the thought of cramming my mouth full of eggs. "We'll have you two seated right here," our waitress showed us our way to a booth. Once we were seated she glued her eyes on Lucas. "So, I'm Heather and I'll be your waitress today, how may I serve you?" she asked him, batting her eyelashes.
"Well, um, Ella what are you getting?" He asked, turning his gaze on me with a smile on his face.
"Um, may I have a glass of orange j-no lemon-no orange juice, please?" I asked her nicely as she gave me a death glare. Oh yeah honey, be jealous. I'm out with the hotty and you aren't, ha ha! ...if only it was like that.
"Okay, and what would you like?" she asked him smiling as she tried to look cute.
"I would like an orange juice, thank you." He told her as his eyes never left my face. My hair was in a messy bun, I had grey sweats and a black tank top on. While Lucas had what he had been wearing at the party on. She walked away and grabbed our drinks for us, making her way over to us she smiled sweetly at him.
"Here you two are, and do you know what you'll be ordering yet?" She asked. I noticed that she had red lipstick on one of her teeth. I couldn't stop staring it was so distracting.
"Ella?" Lucas says my name in a questioning tone that has me snapping out of my trance.
"Huh? What?" I smiled small.
"Do you know what you want to eat yet?" He asked as he chuckled.
"Um, no not yet," He looked up at her briefly before turning his gaze on me again.
"Okay well, I'll give y'all a few more minutes to discuss it," She smiled again and I couldn't help myself so I said.
"You have lipstick on your tooth, right there." I pointed it out for her.
Her face flushed red as she turned around so quickly and walked away. "That was funny," he smirked.
I looked at him confused, "Me telling her the truth was funny?"
"You were so jealous that she kept paying me all the attention and none to you so you had to gain her attention some how," He explained with a chuckle as he folded his arms over his chest and leaned back in his seat just watching me.
I laughed a little, "Oh please, you can have any girls attention in the world and I wouldn't be jealous. I'm not into girls you weirdo!" I exclaimed in a hushed tone.
He laughed and nodded his head, "Okay Ella, whatever you say."
I glared at him and at that moment Heather decided to walk back, "Okay, you two ready?"
After ordering what I'd wanted Lucas said, "I'll have what the lady is having, thank you."
After we ate we sat there for a few moments before I asked, "Why'd you sleep with me last night?"
At that question he looked at me like I was an idiot, and than began laughing at me, "Me? Sleep with you, last night?" He got all choked up. Hurt as I was I lowered my gaze to the table. Having seen my lower my gaze and frown he began to cough and hide his laughter, "I didn't mean it like that. I meant it like I didn't climb into bed with you until Joey left for school this morning. I'm not that big of an idiot, come on, Ella. I am kind of smart," he explained in a grown up voice.
I looked into his eyes, "Aw, you're scared of Joey, that's adorable!" I exclaimed.
"Here is y'alls check and have a great day!" She smiled enthusiastically.
"Thank you, ma'am." I smiled at the woman.

"You wanna drive?" Lucas asked me once we'd arrived to the park.
"You're gonna let me?" I smiled.
"Hell no! It was a joke, come on," he nudged me to follow him to the gates.
Walking into the gates of the amusement park we were instantly surrounded by many forms of people. "Let's get a locker, okay?" I suggested.
He nodded his head and made his way toward a locker station. After putting our things away we decided to go to the largest roller coaster in the park and waited in the line.

"Where in the hell have you two been all day?" Joey exclaimed once Lucas and I walked through the front door of the house.
"Um, well, we ate breakfast and then just hung out," Lucas shrugged it off. Leaving a lot of parts out of the story.
"Where'd y'all hang out?" Joey asked Lucas threateningly.
"We just hung out," Lucas stated, again.
"Ella?" Joey asked me warningly.
"We hung out Joey, loosen up, jeez," I walked past him into my bedroom where I shut my door and sighed against the door. Remembering today was absolutely amazing.
How Lucas grabbed my hand and claimed it was 'so I didn't get lost' and hell, who I was to complain? How Lucas put his hand on the small of my back leading me to places.
God, why did I have to be in love with my brothers best friend?
