Hey guys so I know I have said thank you a lot but I just wanted to say it again. For some reason wattpad switched the story from spiritual to nonfiction idk why but it shows that a lot more people have read it. My readers doubled from yesterday and I can't thank you guys enough for the support. You guys are all awesome and thanks for the amazing comments!

How should we pray? Matthew 6:6 says "But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you". Having a relationship with God is suppose to be a one on one thing. You should talk to him when you are alone and he will in fact reward you for doing so. It continues in Matthew 6:7 by saying "And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words". This is not to say that we cannot pray with a group of people, with friends, etc. but do not try to make up some long prayer so that you can sound cool.

Whether long or short, it does not matter to God as long as you just open up and confess to him. Philippians 4:6 says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God". You know I actually end up reading this over and over again because it amazes me how God wants to hear our requests. A lot of people when they sin think that God does not want to talk to them because of their sin but he has forgiven us of our sins! So let's talk to him!

Matthew 21:22 says "And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith". If we have faith and believe in what we pray for we will get it. Now, for some of us we pray to God but we do not think that he hears our prayers. First, we have to believe that he does hear our prayers that way it will be easier for us to pray to him. If we do believe that we have something, won't we already have it just because we believe in it? Psalms 34:17 says "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles". When we have troubles, we need to believe that God will deliver us out of them. After all he is in control.

James 5:16 says "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working". God tells us that we should tell our sins to each other and that we should pray for each other. I love how God wants us to talk to him but also wants us to pray for other people as well. Prayer also has power as well. A lot of us think that praying does not matter but here it says that the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working so it clearly is important.

If you guys want to confess any sin that you struggle with or you want me to pray for you I will gladly do so. I love how all the comments so far have been positive and that people can relate to this! It truly is amazing! Thanks once again!
