I never told anyone about my parents. The fighting, the abuse. I never understood It.

"You guys are stupid and worthless! I never wanted you kids!" My mother said hitting me and Dustin with a bat.
"Go! out of my sight you useless wastes of air!"
"Why do you hate us mom?"
"Because you are all worthless and wastes of space. Go!"

I couldn't tell anyone about the abuse that I toke. Not even the lads that picked me up of the streets. It's been over 3 months now and Dan hasn't been talking to me at all. I don't understand why.
I put my phone on my night stand and started listening to "of monsters and men, little talks." while dancing around the room.

I stopped and acted natural as soon as Dan's head popped into my door way.
"You- Okay. Listen. I have fancied you since the day we met. And do you know how beautiful you are?"
"Dan, you know that I hate lying."
"Uh,"
He paused confused. "What did I say..?"
"That you fancied me and that I'm beautiful."
"But it's true."
"No it's not."
"PHIL come here!"
"Coming Dan!"
A minute later Phil stormed through my door.
"Now, what Dan?"
"Tell me, isn't Ariel gorgeous?"
"She is."
"See?!"
"No Dan, I don't se my self as beautiful."
