I started my journey to Salemmah with the king and queen's blessings.
It was a long journey.
It took us around 10 days to reach Salemmah, but I couldn't just sit back in the castle, I had to find my prince.
The words of Amna , kept on repeating in my mind. I wondered what the king's wish could be and how both of our wishes would come true together.
Maybe he knows how to communicate with the djinns.
Maybe he knows about the book.
I kept on thinking and thinking till we finally reached Salemmah.
The streets were full of people, buying and selling different kinds of things.
I stopped at one of the street side stalls and bought a glass of sherbet. My throat was dry and I was thirsty. I took a long sip. It was sweet, chilled and refreshing.
After asking for directions from one of the stallholders , I started to ride towards the king's castle on my horse with my guards following behind.
After a few hours, we reached the castle.
It was a magnificent castle.
Nine broad, square towers surrounded the castle.
Wide windows were scattered generously across the walls in a seemingly random pattern.
Huge statues of heroes and kings decorated the bridge outside, memories of glories of the past. The rocks of the walls were aged and vines and plants were growing inside the cracks.
The guards of the castle informed the king about our arrival and soon the heavy metal gate of the castle was opened for us.
I entered with my guards following behind and one of the servants took me to the king's court.
The king had red hair and was wearing a big crown on his head that had small gems on it . He looked very tired and old .
As soon as he saw me he gave me a smile and asked me to sit down.
I smiled back and I told him about Roohani , my curse , the djinns and everything I could remember and then I told him about Amna.
He was listening very attentively and after listening to my story he told me that he is getting older,the queen is sick and he didn't have any children to take over the responsibility of his kingdom. He said that he pray to God day and night to bless him with a child.
I felt sad for the king.
He asked me to stay as long as I would like and then he ordered his servants to show me my room.
