nothing matters,
except for the next few
moments ahead.
only think about
the lady sitting at the side,
with a clipboard and pursed lips.
just think about,
the hours upon hours of practice,
how your arms became noodles,
and how your shiny violin needs
a good player,
no, fantastic player,
to support that.
I am that player,
and I will rip through that song,
and I will wow the lady
with the pursed lips.
