"Uh um yeah, uh, sure here!" I gave her my phone and she put her contact in.
"Well by guys!" I yelled as they ran back down the beach.
I quickly brought out my vlog camera.
"So guys I just met this girl and I got her ******* number! Yeah she seems like a pretty down to earth person. I don't know."
We continued the rest of our day as normal.

I caught a few more waves before we went back to the house. I couldn't stop thinking of that guy. The fact that he asked for my number right after I told him I had a kid. Does he maybe have a fetish? Is he weird? Well everyone is a little weird, but all I'm wondering is why would a perfectly normal guy ask for my phone number?
While at home doing cleaning the kitchen table of lunch I went to go put Kai flown for a nap. When I came back I was getting a call. A random number?
"Hello?" I answered.
"Uh hi this is Tanner from the beach this morning! Is Kai doing okay?"
"Um yeah I just put him down for a nap. He's sound asleep. So, what did you call for?"
"I just wanted to check in, and maybe see if the number you gave me was legit"
"Ahaha yeah your lucky. I've done that to some guys but I got a good vibe from you"
"Haha thanks. So do you two wanna hangout tonight? We could maybe go out for dinner?" I blushed.
"I think we would love that!"
"Great, so text me your address and I'll pick you up around 6!"
"Perfect!"
I was smiling all till when the time came for him to pick us up.
"Hey!"
"Hi!"
"So should we take my truck? I have the carseat In there!"
"Yeah sure lets get going"
We arrived at this cool little restaurant not too far away.
The entire date we just talked about our lives. It's live we've known each other for ages.
Is it bad that I already wish he was Kai's father?
"Really? Ya do?" Shit did I say that out loud?
"Yeah you did" we laughed it off.
I think we can both say that we had a good night.
