Jimin walked around in the city trying to understand what he had just found out. His boyfriend was a vampire. They had been together for four months now and he had only now told him. Of course Jimin thought it was a joke at first and then he thought that Yoongi was crazy. Then he sort of thought he was the one who was crazy. In the end he finally got the information into his head. He saw the fangs which captured the light from the moon which peaked in from the little gap between the curtains. Jimin nearly passed out when he saw it. They grew out of nothing from his boyfriend's mouth. He wasn't scared though. He didn't think Yoongi would ever hurt him. Jimin grabbed his arms as he remembered their conversation afterwards.
"But who do you drink from?" Jimin asked. He was placed on the bed with Yoongi standing in front of him.
"Mostly people who are drunk or animals. I never kill anyone, I would never do that." Yoongi said answering patiently every question he might have.
"Good." Jimin nodded. "Can you do all the things they do in the movies?"
"You mean turn into a bat and move fast?" Yoongi asked and Jimin nodded again serious. "Not everything. I can move fast and I don't do sunlight too well but is not like I can't be out in it. I can eat garlic but I don't like it. My senses is better than humans but only if I make them better. I can't turn into a bat. I can see myself in a mirror and I do sleep. In all honesty I'm not much diffrent from a human." Jimin nodded again, not sure what to say.
"When you drink blood, do you ever feel like you can't stop?" Jimin asked.
"No not if I drink regularly. Is not a problem." Yoongi said.
"Have you ever been tempted to drink my blood?" Jimin asked scared to hear the answer. Yoongi took slightly longer to answer this one.
"Yes. I have never done it but I do feel tempted. You have to understand that to vampires, drinking from someone you like and are in a relationship with is very special." Yoongi said and almost looked sorry.
"But I don't want you to drink from me. I-I-this is too much." Jimin said and put his head in hands. Yoongi walked closer and sat next to him.
"I know you have a fear of blood and I'm not going to push you to do it." Yoongi said and put an arm around Jimin.
"Can I just go for a walk? I just need to get all of this in." Jimin said.
"Of course but take your phone with you." Yoongi said. It was evening after all. Jimin nodded and kissed Yoongi on the cheek to show him he still liked him. He grabbed his jacket and his phone and was out the door.
Now half a hour later he still found it hard to believe. How couldn't he find it hard to believe? No one ever taught him what you're suppose to do in a situation like that. It struck Jimin he didn't even know how he became a vampire or if his heart was beating. Was Yoongi even breathing? Jimin tried to remember back to see if he had ever felt his heart beat but it didn't seem like he could find the answer.
"This is crazy." Jimin said to himself. "He wants to drink my blood." It sort of helped him to say it out loud. Jimin tried to imagine how it would feel to let Yoongi suck his blood but it was impossible. He felt slightly sick by the thought of someone drinking his blood. He quickly dismissed the thought and wrapped his hands around his arms. It was getting colder and he thought he should return to Yoongi. He started to walk back, his mind going crazy. When he reached the apartment, he quietly let himself in. He took his jacket and shoes off before going into the living room. He saw Yoongi sit on the couch watching some tv. It made Jimin smile for some reason and he realised it was because it was Yoongi. It was his boyfriend who he loved so dearly. So what if he was a vampire. He was Jimin's vampire.
"Hey." Jimin said and sat down. He kissed him on the cheek and rested his head on his shoulder.
"Hey." Yoongi said and put an arm around him. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah you're still Yoongi. You're still the same person as before." Jimin could tell Yoongi was relieved to hear that. "But I still have a few questions if you don't mind."
"Of course not, I'll answer everything." Yoongi said. Jimin sat up and looked at his boyfriend.
"How did you become a vampire?" Jimin asked and Yoongi looked away for a split second.
"I got bitten when I was ten. I was on my way home from a friend when I got attacked. I was sick for months not knowing why. My parents send me to the hospital where they told them my heart wasn't beating. One night this lady came into my room, she told me everything I needed to know and gave me blood. I felt better right away and I was able to go home. The lady helped me until I was old enough to handle it myself. I got a few friends who're vampires but you're the only human who knows." Yoongi said. Jimin took a second to it get it all inside his head before he asked his next question.
"So your heart dosn't beat?" Jimin asked and looked at Yoongi's chest.
"Give me your hand." Yoongi said and Jimin gave it to him. He put it up to his chest and Jimin widen his eyes as he felt a heartbeat. It wasn't as strong as a humans but it was there. "My heart beats as long as I drink blood."
"Do you breath." Jimin asked and Yoongi moved their hands to his mouth. Jimin could feel a small breeze on his hand as he breathed out.
"It's the same. As long as I drink blood I breath and my heart beats." Yoongi said. He kissed Jimin's hand before letting go. "Do you have any other questions?"
"Not right now."
"Okay but if more comes just ask me." Yoongi said and Jimin kissed his lips softly as a okay. They continued to watch tv when a thought striked Jimin. He sat up abruptly and turned towards Yoongi with big eyes.
"How old are you? Vampires dosn't age! I'll be like fifty and you'll look like this. Oh what a nightmare!" Yoongi couldn't help but smile slightly by his panicking eyes. He didn't even look that worried when he told him he was a vampire.
"Calm down. I am in fact twenty-three. You see vampires does age but slower than humans." Yoongi said but Jimin now looked confused. "It's diffrent with kids. It dosn't matter if you're bitten or born with it but kids age normally. We stop ageing normally when we turn twenty."
"So that really does mean that I'll look really old because you age slower." Jimin whined.
"Yes unfortunately." Yoongi said looking sad.
"Can't I do anything about it?" Jimin asked. Even though they had only been together four months Jimin knew he loved Yoongi and would his whole life.
"The only way is if I turn you but I know you don't want that." Yoongi said. Jimin looked down, with him being scared of seeing blood, he would probably be the worst vampire ever. "But we don't have to worry about that now. Okay?"
"Okay." Jimin said and gave a half smile. They watched tv again but Jimin couldn't shake the feeling of being sad off. He sighed and pulled Yoongi closer never wanting to let go.
Days went by and Jimin adjusted to the thought. He tried not to think about the fact they would have to break up unless he made Yoongi turn him and as time went by he slowly stopped worring about it. A week and a half later the two of them were sitting in bed. Jimin was on his phone but was distracted by Yoongi as he kept looking at him. Jimin soon realised he was looking at his neck. Jimin had thought a lot about giving him permisson to drink from him but he wasn't completely convinced. He was almost there but a little fear kept him from saying yes. So when Yoongi kept looking at his neck he decided to talk to him about it.
"Does it hurt?" Jimin asked without any introduction into the conversation.
"To be bitten?" Yoongi asked.
"Yes and when you drink." Jimin asked and put his phone away. He turned his body so he was sitting towards Yoongi.
"It dosn't hurt but you're able to feel it a little when the fangs go in." Yoongi said.
"Why is it special to do it with someone you like?" Jimin asked and tilted his head slightly to the side.
"Because the blood taste sweeter as you like them and care for them. Also the one you suck it from will be overwhelmed with happiness. Some even say you can feel how you love each other." Yoongi said. Jimin nodded and thought for a little while. He took a deep breath before he looked at Yoongi.
"You can drink from me." Jimin said.
"Are you sure?" Yoongi asked, he didn't want to scare Jimin off.
"Yes. I trust you and I've thought a lot about it." Jimin said. "Besides..I'm still not one hundred percent sure yet but at some point if we stay together I want you to turn me." Yoongi widen his eyes.
"Really? You would do that for me?" Yoongi asked not able to hide his smile.
"Like I said I'm not completelty sure but..I love you a lot and I really do think you're the one for me. I'll get over the whole drinking blood as long as I can be with you." Jimin said hoping he didn't come on too strong.
"Jimin you have no idea how much that means to me." Yoongi said his eyes were shining. "I really love you too. You know I'm only suppose to tell that I'm a vampire to people I trust and think I have a future with. I really do think you're the one for me too." It made Jimin happy to hear that. They both leaned in and kissed sweetly.
"But let's start with the drinking from me." Jimin said when they pulled away.
"Of course." Yoongi said. He patted his lap and Jimin crawled over and put a leg on each side of Yoongi's thighs. "Hold onto my arms as you'll probably feel dizzy as this is the first time." Jimin did as he was told.
"I'm going to bite here." Yoongi said and kissed Jimin's neck. Jimin took a shaky breath.
"Okay." He said. Yoongi's hands were on Jimin's waist holding him tightly.
"Are you ready?" Yoongi asked.
"Yes." Jimin said and leaned his head slightly to the side. Jimin closed his eyes as Yoongi's fangs came out and he leaned closer. Jimin thought he could hear his own heart beat and then he felt a little prick where Yoongi's fangs had bitten. His fingers duck into Yoongi's arms as he started to drink. Yoongi was right though. A happiness Jimin had never felt before filled his body up. He moaned slighty from the pleasure of it. Just as he thought it couldn't get any better, he suddenly felt loved and protected and he knew this was how Yoongi felt about him. Jimin almost got tears in his eyes as he never thought anyone could love him that much. He didn't even notice Yoongi was drinking from him. Jimin didn't know how long it lasted but it felt amazing. When Yoongi pulled away from Jimin, he smiled slightly.
"I could hear you liked it." Yoongi said referring to Jimin's moan. Jimin felt slightly embarrassed.
"I'm sorry." Jimin said and blushed.
"No is okay." Yoongi said. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yoongi it was amazing. I felt so happy and then..I could feel how much you love me and it became even better." Jimin said.
"I could feel how much you love me too. I never thought anyone could love a monster like me." Yoongi said and looked slightly sad. Jimin put a hand on his cheek and made him look at him.
"You're not a monster. Don't ever think you are. You're Yoongi. You're my Yoongi." Jimin could see Yoongi was touched by those words and the older pulled him into a hug.
"I'm so happy I met you." Yoongi said as he pulled away.
"Me too." Jimin said and smiled. "The only thing I'm sad about is one day when you turn me, we won't be able to do that again."
"Yeah that's true. Then I guess I just have to show you how much I love you." Yoongi said and smiled. "I love you so much."
"I know." Jimin said smiling. "I love you too." They leaned in and kissed Jimin's hands wrapped around Yoongi's neck. When they pulled away Jimin crawled off Yoongi's lap and they laid down in the bed cuddling. Not many words was spoken between them the rest of the night but it didn't matter. In that moment, they had each other and that was all they ever needed.
