DEEP DARK AND DANGEROUS
CHAPTER 9
JARED P.O.V
I watched as Ryan jumped around before the concert. She was yelling and singing their songs. I was only doing this to make her happy.
“Which one should I wear? My new one.” She held up a long sleeve shirt that had drawings on them, most likely tattoos. “Or this one.” She held up the other one that was short sleeve and had all of their faces on it.
“Long sleeve one.” I answered. After the concert we would be staying at a hotel thats right where the concert is. Abbi’s mom is paying for it. I was sitting on her phone with headphones in. She thought I was listening to their songs but I was actually on youtube watching skating videos. She took off the shirt she was already wearing and put that one on. I watched her. She didn’t realize because she was so excited. I watched as she jumped around some more. She screamed a few times in the last few minutes. I was just letting her do what she wanted.
“Jared! I told you to listen to their songs!” She shouted at me. She someone got on the bed and I didn’t feel it. She was looking over my shoulder.
“Oh my god!” I shouted back. She literally scared me.
“What?” She asked in a calmer voice.
“You scared me.” I said. I double tapped the home screen and went back to their songs that she had playing.
“Can you plug it into the charger for me?” I did as she asked while I had my phone plugged into a different spot. “Thanks for coming with me.” She said to me and come over and kissed me.
“Anything for you.” I answered.
“Gonna leave in an hour? Go get some food?” She asked.
“Sure.” I moved over to her Mac and watched videos on there instead. “Can I get a kiss?” asked as she sat in front of the mirror fixing her hair. I turned around and looked at her. She had her lips pouted out at me. She was seriously making me go to the concert with her and she is making me get up to kiss her? The things I do for her. I wanted to feel her lips so I got off the bed and went over to kiss her. “The things I do for you.” I whispered in her ear.
“Yeah. You really like me.” She answered. And it was true. I have never felt this for another girl. Ryan was hard to get. She was beautiful and you could tell she had been hurt before. She didn’t open up to many people, I barely knew anything about her. I knew she had issues with her dad, and her mother. I knew her parents got divorced and her mother was dating someone new, she hadn’t seen her dad in a few months I guess. I think she was fine with it, she didn’t like him much anyway.
“I really do.” I watched her fix her make up while wrapping my arms around her. I buried my face into her neck. Her door swung open then.
“What time are you leaving?” Her mom came into the room then. I stood up but left a hand on Ryan.
“In about an hour.” She answered. She finished doing her make up and stood up. Her mom was still standing there. “Can I help you?” Ryan asked her.
“Is he sleeping over after?” She asked.
“We are going to his house.” She answered. “Scratch that, we are leaving now.” She grabbed the tickets off her desk along with her phone and some money. I grabbed my keys and my phone and the extra money my mom gave to me and followed her out of the house.
“Babe, wait.” I said grabbing her arm. She turned and faced me I could tell she was upset. “Whats wrong?” I questioned her.
“She’s annoying.” She rolled her eyes.
“Well Babe.” I wasn’t really sure what to say.
“Jared, she gave us money to get a hotel room!” She shouted. I laughed and she hit me.
“She’s so stupid.” I said and held the door open for Ryan to get in. She got in and she held the door open. “What?” I asked.
“I want a kiss.” She said smirking at me. I moaned.
“Don’t give me that smirk.” I smiled and kissed her. “I like you.” I said.
“I like you too.” She answered before I closed the door and walked around the front of the car. I scratched my tattoo and admired it. To be honest, I didn’t get the tattoo for Ryan, I got it because it was simply three words that meant everything. I then rubbed my hand over the back of my neck before I opened the car door. It was hot already and it was only ten in the morning.
“Where do you want to go to eat?” I asked her.
“I don’t mind. I just didn’t want to deal with her.” She answered me. I was really in the mood for Wendys so I just went. I knew she wasn’t going to say no. I knew she could eat chicken and fries. Of course I let her play the CD in the car. They actually had some really good songs but I would never admit that to anyone. We pulled up to the Wendys and I was too lazy to go inside so I went through the drive thru.
“Can I help you?” A man voice said from the other end. He sounded bored out of his mind.
“Can I have a number two with a root beer and a number six with a root beer?” He punched the numbers into the computer.
“Anything else?” He asked with that same bored voice.
“No thats it.” I said with a bored voice like him.
“Jared!” Ryan hit my arm and I drove forward laughing.
“What? He was talking all bored.” I said.
“Well sorry we are rich kids and he’s not.” I was offended by that.
“I’m offended.” I placed my hand over my heart like she broke it. She laughed. I paid for the food and drove to the next window where we got our food. “ No eating in my car.” I said to her.
“I’m starving though.” She whined.
“Fine. Don’t drop anything.” I said. She dug into her food and she didn’t spill at all.
“Thanks babe.” She said kissing my cheek
“You’re welcome.” I drove the hour ride over to arena. She sang along to the songs while she fed me my food due to the fact that I couldn’t. Once all the food was gone she held my hand. I rubbed my thumb over hers and I watched as a smile spread across her face.
“I’m very excited! I’m happy you came with me.” She said.
“Yeah this is gonna be great.” I said rolling my eyes and laughing. She gave me evil eyes.
“Be nice.” Was all she said before she turned the radio up and sang even louder. I was falling fast for this girl.
*RYAN P.O.V*
When we pulled up to the arena I started freaking out. I knew some girls would be all over Jared thinking he was a boy Directioner but he was just here with me to make me happy. He would do anything to make me happy. He parked the car and he grabbed both of our phone since I didn’t think to grab mine over my emotions. Jared came to me and wrapped an arm around me bringing me back to Earth.
“You ready?” He asked. People were walking on the side walks, some fans were running towards the stadium. Me and Jared took the painfully slow long walk. I was trying very hard to not show how over excited I was but I wasn’t doing a very good job at it. We showed our tickets and we entered. It all seemed so weird to me. I was finally able to see the five boys who saved my life. We found our seats. They were pretty close to the stage. Close enough for us to see their faces.
“How do I look?” I asked him which was stupid because I knew what his answer was going to be.
“Beautiful.” I knew he was going to say that. I smiled and kissed him. I was amazed by how attractive he was and he was all mine. How did I get him? I was a nobody. He could have had any girl at our entire school and he chose me. I wasn’t special. I was a girl with blonde straight hair and blue eyes. I had acne covering some parts of my face and I wasn’t perfectly skinny, I had never really thought I was skinny. I was fit, yeah thats the word, I’m fit. The boys soon came out. I didn’t even hear the music. I just saw their lips moving. I was captivated by their beauty and how they helped me live. I couldn’t believe they were real. This was the best day of my life so far and I got to spend it with the only person besides the boys who made me smile when all I wanted to do was cry. I turned to Jared and looked at him. He was standing by my side.
“Thank you.” I shouted at him.
“You’re very welcome, Beautiful.” I grabbed his face and kissed him. I didn’t care who was watching or if parents were mad that there children were seeing this, the one boy I wanted to go to this concert with, came with me. He was mine. I didn’t want to say I was in love with him, I like him a lot. I’m in like with him, a lot. With everything that is going on with my mom and her boyfriend and my dad, he seems to be the only person who can make me smile. And I didn’t want it any other way.
*FEW HOURS LATER*
Jared carried me into the hotel room because I was so weak at the knees I couldn’t. Sobs were coming out of my mouth. I had just seen the five boys I have been in love with forever, they were real, they were actually saving lives all over the world, I couldn’t believe I got to see them. Even if I never meet them this is close enough, this is enough to get me through at least another year.
“Whats wrong with you.” Jared said as he laid me on the bed and I wrapped my arms around his neck keeping him to me.
“I just love them so much.” I sobbed out.
“I know you do.” He said kissing my forehead. He cuddled with me until my sobs stopped and I got control of my emotions.
“My fangirling has gotten to a whole new level.” I laughed at myself, he joined in with me. I went to the bathroom but left the door open. After I was finished he came in. I wiped my make up off. Half way through wiping it off I couldn’t stop yawning.
“Lets go to bed.” He said.
“I have to take the make up off or my face will look gross.” I said to him as my eyes closed. I felt his arms wrap around me.
“Lets go, baby.” He picked me up and placed me on the bed. I wasn’t sure where his body was but I could feel him. He wasn’t touching me but he was there. “Open your eyes.” He whispered. I did as he said to do. When I did his face was right in front of mine. He lowered his head and placed a kiss to my lips. “I had fun tonight.” He said as he let go. I smiled up at him.
“I’m so glad you were with me.” I said to him.
“Thank you for taking me.” I found it weird that we were in a hotel room alone and neither one o our parents asked us to stay protected. I knew his mom didn’t say anything to him because I was with him. My mom didn’t say anything to me because she doesn’t know we are here. Maybe someday me and Jared could me intimate together, but today, is not that day.
