Raphael woke up to feel heat surrounding him, to hot to take he sat up in bed ripping the blanket off himself before getting up to find the source of heat
When he looked around his eyes landed on Afina who was sweating
Raphael walked up to Afina kneeling down by the side of the bed before putting his hands on the sides of her face before realizing she was breathing heavily
"Afina" Raphael whispered worry lacing his features
He stood up to get ready so he could talk to Magnus before his phone started ringing
Raphael groaned already knowing it was Simon before answering
"What"
"Please come help me"
"Simon I have other things to worry about"
"You don't want your other vampires in danger right maybe there's a specific vampire you don't want in danger"
Raphael glanced at Afina before looking away and staying silent making Simon continue his rant.
"If my mom knows that puts her in danger"
"Much a brother you are Simon, do you even care that you put her in danger? I'll be over soon"
Raphael hung up his phone before throwing it on his chair and running a hand down his face in frustration
Something was already wrong with Afina he didn't want to add to the list
Raphael walked out of his room after putting a shirt on to find one of his men and the first one he came across was Sebastian
"Sebastian I need a favor" Sebastian nodded his head signaling Raphael to continue "I need you to watch Afina I have to do something and I'll be back as soon as I can"
Sebastian nodded making Raphael sigh in a bit of relief before running off to deal with Simon then to find Magnus
Sebastian walked into the room to see Afina breathing heavily and he smirked to himself looking at her phone

At Simons house
"You've been gone for what a day? And already eleven mundanes see you feeding" Raphael said walking around his room before leaning on his desk
"It's not like I invited her in! Besides I wouldn't be in this predicament if you had just brought me the blood like I asked" Simon crossed his arms and glared at Raphael slightly
"Do I look like a delivery boy to you? Besides I had more important things going on" Raphael said glaring at Simon
"Raphael, I have no idea what she's going to do you need to fix this and I don't care if you had to take care of Afina she's a big girl I need you to fix this" Simon gestured towards his door and Raphael glared more harshly at the way Simon was talking about Afina
"Sounds like I don't have a choice do I? There will be consequences amigo. Also don't ever talk about Afina like that" Raphael smiled sarcastically patting his shoulder before going out his door to fix the problem Simon created
"Raphael, how is he? Is he sleeping?" Simons mom asked when she saw Raphael exit Simons room
"Everything's going to be just fine" Raphael said continuing to walk up to her before he erased her memory of ever seeing Simon that night
Raphael then walked out of his house quickly going to Magnus's house and banging on the door
"Raphael how may I help you?" Magnus moved aside allowing Raphael to enter
"It's Afina something's wrong with her, she's burning up and breathing heavily" Raphael explained
"Has she been around any warlocks besides me?" Magnus asked and Raphael shook his head.
"Not that I know of why?" Raphael became more worried after hearing Magnus's question
"It sounds like someone is poisoning her but I can't be certain give me something an object that she's touched recently but make it quick I have things to do" with that Raphael vamp sped back to the hotel
When he got there he raced to his room and threw open the door seeing Sebastian still there sitting in a chair beside her bed but he got up when he saw Raphael running around the room looking for Afina's phone
"What are you looking for?" Sebastian asked crossing his arms
"Afina's phone" Raphael stated simply before he found it "I need to go again please watch her again"
Raphael didn't wait for an answer as he ran out of the hotel again
He got to Magnus's house again and opened the door to now see Alec there
"Sorry for interrupting but I got her phone Magnus" Raphael handed Magnus the phone and Alec eyed it before realizing who's phone it was
"Why do you have Afina's phone?" Alec asked worried
"To see if she's being poisoned or not" Magnus said before he grabbed the ingredients he might need and Alec looked at Raphael quickly
"Poisoned? What the hell did you do to my sister?!" Alec demanded taking a step closer to him and Raphael took a step back glaring at Alec
"I didn't do anything, I woke up to her burning up" Raphael stated through gritted teeth and Alec scoffed before walking over to stand next to Magnus as he started the spell
Raphael walked in front of the table that Magnus was working on and crossed his arms waiting for Magnus to finish the spell
When he did Magnus looked up at Raphael confused
"What? What is it?" Alec asked leaning on the table looking at Magnus
"Someone is poisoning Afina but it's the kind of spell that would have to be in range of the person. Someone is putting the spell on objects Afina might touch but the one who cast the spell has to also be in range for the spell to work" Magnus explained and Raphael raised his eyebrows still confused
"What do you mean?" Raphael asked un-crossing his arms
"I mean a warlock is pretending to be a vampire, there's a warlock hiding in your hotel" Magnus said and Raphael looked down before remembering he left Afina with Sebastian and at the moment he didn't trust anyone
Raphael ran to the door but stopped when Alec called him
"Call me if anything happens" Raphael nodded at Afina's brother before he continued to run back to the hotel
When he got to his room he saw that Afina had only gotten worse and he turned to Sebastian glaring harshly
"Get out" Raphael demanded and Sebastian stood up with his hands raised
"What no thank you?" Sebastian asked tauntingly and Raphael barred his fangs only making Sebastian smirk
"I know what you did to her" Raphael said through gritted teeth
"Prove it" Sebastian smirked before exiting the room
It took one glance at Afina to make Raphael break and he ran after Sebastian grabbing him by the throat and pushing him against the wall
"How about I just kill you instead?" Raphael smirked before stabbing him with his sharp vampire claws but he stopped immediately when he heard Afina screaming
"Didn't Magnus tell you? Me and Afina are connected now you kill me you kill her" Raphael pulled his nails out of Sebastian letting him go making Sebastian smirk
"You're the one that cursed her necklace aren't you" Raphael balled his hands into fists trying to calm down
"Maybe, maybe not" Sebastian stated before he started walking away
"I will find a way to kill you!" Raphael yelled at him before he turned and went back into his room
Raphael ran a hand down his face his eyes watering slightly at the thought of him hurting Afina when he tried to kill Sebastian
He sat down in the chair closest to Afina before putting his head in his hands trying to figure out a way to disconnect Afina and Sebastian
He looked up at Afina making a promise to himself to never hurt Afina again
