Ann: bullshit! (crying) you don’t have to say that on my face! I knew it already!

Aiiissshh!! This girl is really looking for a trouble. I want to get her and crash her bones to pieces but the bug sure is a runner!

We went home and I’m not speaking to anybody now.

I was facing the mirror when my phone rang..

I was walking my way outside and I took a glimpse of him waiting outside---I feel like I’m his girlfriend :D

I was expecting him to say something like “hi! How are you?” or “you look good on that outfit Ann” shheeeessh! This cold-blooded person really kills me!
James: why are you standing there like a log?
Ann: (pouting) well, you need to open the door for me james. J
ames: (laughing really hard) what?! (laughing)
Ann: (raising her eyebrows) what are you laughing at? James: do I look like your bodyguard?

James: wait! Husband? We’re not even married yet!
Ann: soon!
James: (tapping ann’s forehead) hey hey.. Stop daydreaming..

We stopped in a big mansion.
James: we’re here.
Ann: where are we?

I feel like fainting! His smile is my drug now

He went upstairs and I silently sat on the sofa when I heard a voice.
“Hello, how are you?”
I looked up and saw the boy at the party.
Boy: I didn’t have the chance of introducing myself to you.
Ann: you’re from the party right? (pointing her fingers towards the boys face)
Boy: yep.. (sitting beside ann) I’m Louie by the way (lending his hands for a handshake)
Ann: oh! (Holding Louie’s hand) Ann—Ann Li
Louie: it’s nice to see you here. I heard you and james are getting married,
Ann: yeah.
Louie: are you happy? A
nn: very. I thought it’s just a dream
Louie: (laughing) so you think that james will not like you?
Ann: (sighs) I know that he will never like someone like me. I’m not his type (faking a laugh)
Louie: why not? You’re cute
Ann: (blushing) really?
Louie: yeah! You know what, i like you from the very beginning. I can feel your sincerity—a girl like you is one in a million (smiling)
Ann: (clearing her throat) thanks for that compliment. I think you’re a great man too.
We were chatting when I saw james coming towards us.
James: go to the dining room—mom and dad is waiting for you
Ann: (standing up) oh! O..okay (waving at Louie) nice to meet you! Hope to see you soon (smiling)
James POV:
I was about to go downstairs when I saw ann and Louietalking. I went closer to eavesdrop.
Louie: yeah! You know what, i like you from the very beginning. I can feel your sincerity—a girl like you is one in a million (smiling)
Ann: (clearing her throat) thanks for that compliment. I think you’re a great man too.
What?!? This girl is flirting in her fiancée’s house!
Wait—why would I get mad? Hmm..maybe I’m just worried about my best friend. What if he would fall for an ugly girl like her?! That’s unfortunate.
But how come I’m getting annoyed?!
Ann’s POV:
I saw my future in-laws waiting for me in the table.
Mr.reid: come and have a meal. (smiles)
We ate yogether. James was sitting beside me; I know that he was FORCED to do so.
Mrs. Reid: so ann. Do you know how to bake?
Ann: (munching food) bake? Hmm (swallowed) yes, I know a little bit about baking.. why?
Mrs. Reid: that great! James loves to baked-goods (smiling)
Ann: good! I will bake for him everyday (clapping her hands)
James: (scoffs) shut up mudball! I won’t eat it; maybe its poisoned.
Ann: aish..
Mr. Reid: james, enough
James: (breathing hard) since all of us are here, I want to say something.
I was nervous. I don’t know what he’s planning to say.
James: I don’t want this marriage! All my life I’ve been a good son, don’t you think that’s it’s time for me to decide for my own life? To decide whom to love?!
Mrs. Reid: (clearing her throat) james I thought we’re clear about this? Please, not now.. We’ll talk later okay?
I was silent; trying my very best to keep the hurt inside. How can he be so rude? Can’t he wait for me to leave? Should he say such words in front of me?
Everyone is quiet except for the sound of the eating utensils.
I tried keeping my tears from falling, I don’t want to cry ion front of them.
James: I love somebody mom—I like some other girl..
I was about to eat a spoonful of rice when he said that. I wiped my lips with napkin and sighed.
Mrs. Reid: james! How can you say that in front of ann?!
James: she should know the truth! I don’t want her to have those silly hopes like I’m going to like her or I’m gonna be her husband! Because I don’t want to—I don’t like her!
Mr. reid: you’ve crossed the line young man!!
I released a big sigh. My tears can’t hold on my eyes anymore; no matter how much they don’t want to fall, still they rushed down on my cheeks. Same in falling in love; no matter how much you resist your feelings; it won’t stop until you fall in pain.
Ann: (sobbing but she tries to smile) it’s nice to have this meal together. I guess my sister’s looking for me; we have seminars to attend to.
I gave them a bow and ran away from the dining room. I covered my mouth so that no one will hear my deep sobs in the corner. I am badly hurt.
I was about to open the door when I felt a hand grabbing my wrist.
I looked up and saw Louie; I immediately released myself from his grip.
Ann: (sobbing) i..i’m sorry
Louie: it’s okay.. don’t cry---you’re ugly when you’re doing so.
Louie: maybe that’s the reason why he hates me—because I’m ugly..
Louie: hell no! you’re really beautiful.. Unfortunately, only few of us see your worth.
Ann: (wipes her tears) thanks for comforting me.. (Faking a smile) I should go.. Dianne’s waiting,
I pulled the doorknob and ran away from james’ mansion.
James POV:
She ran away while I silently sat on the chair.
Mrs. Reid: you’re too cruel james..really cruel..
They left me in the table alone. Am I really too much?
I ran after her, but I saw her talking to sam.
I felt something strange. They look sweet..

But I don’t mind!!! I don’t like her anyway.
Ann’s POV:
I locked myself in my room for the whole day.
“why can’t he like me?” what’s wrong with me? Am I not good for him? if not, I can change!
I remembered his friend, Louie. He’s really a gentleman, unlike James. He didn’t even bother to run after me—what a jerk! Selfish cold-hearted frog!
Wait---Louie is james’ friend right?! Maybe he can help me!

James' POV:
Louie invited me to go bowling with Vince and ryan; maybe that's the reason why he came to my house.
When we arrived at the place, we saw ryan waving happily to us, carrying a bowling ball.
James: hi ryan!
ryan: what took you so long?
Louie: james' bride-to-be visited their house, it's rude if i would steal james away. (smiling)
james: i'd be happy if you did that (looking around) where's VInce by the way?
ryan: wait---you're getting married?
james: no! i wnt to cancel it! there's no way i'm gonna marry her!
Louie: better think twice james; she's too good to lose. (drinks a soda)

ryan: Vince's here!
I turned around and saw him waving---wait...is that ericka?

i grabbed the phone--no name, just number.

he went to the table and answered the call..

Louie had finished his phonecall.
Louie: ann called
i signaled Louie not to mention it in front of ericka. he saw our hands laced together and i saw confusion in his eyes
james: (clearing hir throat) what'd she say?
Louie: she asked for my help, and i'm gonna help her.
this guy is raelly something! he loves to interfere!
JAmes: let's talk later dude.
after few hours, we decided to go home.
Louie: james, give yourself some time to think; ann's a good kid, she can be a good partner for you

monday morning---still sleepy but i need to go to school.
you might be wondering if i wear my uniform; ooh! i wear them, but our skirt is long, unlike the other schools. I also have my rolled up pants underneath--no one would notice it anyway..
