Yoongi sat with his friends in school around a table when he could see his boyfriend walk with confident steps towards them. Yoongi admired Jin very much, he was the sweetest and kindest person on earth and made everyone happy.
"Hey babe." Jin said and sat down putting an arm around Yoongi. He pulled him closer and lifted his chin up with a finger. He locked their lips together in a sweet kiss, it was one of those kisses that would linger on your lips for a long time.
"Hi to you too." Yoongi said blushing slightly.
"Happy 1 years day." Jin said and smiled.
"Happy one 1 years day." Yoongi answered back. "I can't believe it's already been a year."
"Me niether but yet here we are. Happy as ever." Jin said. "Remember you're coming over tonight."
"How could I forget." Yoongi said.
"Good. Now I better go but I'll see you tonight." Jin said and kissed Yoongi. "Love you."
"Love you too." Yoongi said as Jin stood up. Yoongi followed him with his eyes, he even looked good from behind. Yoongi watched him as he walked with fast steps. When he reached the door he almost walked into two people who was going inside the room. He stopped and sort or made a gesture for them to walk first. It made Yoongi laugh slightly, how could he be so confident one moment and the next he does that.
"Hey Yoongi you're coming?" One of his friends asked.
"Yeah." Yoongi said and grabbed his stuff and headed to class with his friends.
Hours later Yoongi had put on the outfit he wore the same day Jin asked him to be his boyfriend and was heading over to Jin. He knew his parents weren't going to be home as they worked late that day. He rang the doorbell waiting for Jin to open the door. He rang again when no one answered. Still no answer came and Yoongi decided to call Jin.
"Hey Jin, why are you not answering the door?" Yoongi asked as soon as he answered the phone.
"Hi I'm not home, I'm with Ken, it's an emergency." Jin said.
"I can't believe this. You ask me to come home to you and then you're not here! Is this really more important than me?" Yoongi said annoyed.
"Yes I'm so sorry." Jin said
"It dosn't matter, I'll just go home." Yoongi said and hung up too upset to talk anymore. Feeling his heart sink, he took a cab home. He opened the door to his parents house where he saw rose petals forming a path. He frowned before following it into the livingroom where he was shocked. Candles were all around the room, together with some fairylights here and there. Rose petals were spread around a table.
"What the-" Suddenly a song started to play. It was an romantic song which played on one of their first dates. Jin came out, looking better than ever, he grabbed Yoongi's hand and pulled him close.
"Happy 1 years day." Jin smiled.
"Wait you did all of this for me?" Yoongi said, his eyes were shining.
"Of course! I'm not expecting someone else." Jin said which made Yoongi laugh slightly.
"But where's my parents? And how did you have time to do this? I just left the house. Plus why make it a suprise?" Yoongi said overwhelmed.
"Why don't we sit down and talk." Jin said, he followed Yoongi to the table where he pulled his chair out for him to sit. Then he walked over to the other side and sat down. He took the remote out to lower the volume of the music but he accidentally hit the turn up botton and Yoongi grabbed his ears as it became extremly loud. Jin quickly hit the turn down botton and got it down to the right volume. He gave a Yoongi an apologic smile. "Sorry about that." Jin said.
"It's okay." Yoongi said.
"So I made some food for us." Jin said and showed all the food he had made for them. "I hope you like it." Jin said nervous it wouldn't be good enough.
"It all looks good. Thank you babe." Yoongi said. They started to eat and talk, feeding each other once in a while.
"Oh you never answered my questions." Yoongi said as they both finished.
"Right. First of your parents are on a date of their own, they agreed to let us have the house for the night. Second as soon as you left the house, your parents and Ken helped me set up everything. Third I wanted it to be a suprise. I wanted to show you even after a year I love you so much and I want to give you the best. You gotta admit, is more romantic with it being a suprise." Jin explained, he had reached over and grabbed Yoongi's hand. He was caring it with his thumb while talking.
"Okay all of that, that's amazing and yes true, even though you had me really upset." Yoongi said and pouted a little. Jin moved his chair around the table to sit next to Yoongi. Jin kissed Yoongi's lips to make the pout go away.
"I'm sorry babe but hopefully this will make up for that?" Jin said and stood up. He walked to a little table where he took out something and put it behind his back. He sat down again and looked at Yoongi.
"Okay so I know you don't really like the whole emotionel talk thing but let me just say this. I love you more than you can imagine. I feel like the luckist person on earth to have you. I hope this present will show you how much I care about you." Jin said and handed Yoongi a little black box. Yoongi opened the box, a ring was inside. It was a silver, with a very simple design. Yoongi looked at it in awe, he took it up and inside it said: Forever yours-Jin. Yoongi didn't know what to do so he just looked at it.
"You don't like it do you?" Jin said nervous. He started to play with the hem of his shirt. He looked around awkwardly with red cheeks. "I can just take it back. Is no problem I-"Jin got cut off with a kiss.
"I love it so much." Yoongi said and smiled widely. He put it on his finger and it fit perfectly.
"You really do?" Jin said.
"Yes of course how could I not?" Yoongi said. "But we did say no presents. I didn't get you anything." Yoongi whined.
"I know and I don't expect you to give me anything but a kiss in return." Jin said. Yoongi smiled and leaned in and kissed him tenderly.
"Should we get this cleaned up and cuddle?" Jin asked.
"That sounds good." Yoongi said. They quickly washed the dishes and moved the table to it's place. Jin sweeped the floor so the rose petals could he thrown out. The only thing left was the candles that lit up the room in beautiful colors. Yoongi's parents lucky had a somewhat wide couch and they were able to spoon. Jin held tightly around Yoongi as he was the big spoon.
"This whole night, has been perfect." Yoongi said, feeling completely relaxed in Jin's arms.
"Yeah I think so too." Jin said, pretty proud of himself. They lay in silence until Yoongi somehow got turned himself around so he was facing Jin. They were lying extremly close but Yoongi manged to make it work.
"Babe I know you said I don't need to give you a present but let me at least tell you how I feel. Like you said I'm not good with the whole emotionel thing but I'll try." Yoongi said and took a deep breath. "I love you. A lot. Since I got together with you it's been the happiest time of my life. I hope you know that you make me this happy. You always take care of me, you always love me, you're always there for me and I can't say thank you enough. You're perfect both as a person and as a boyfriend. I really love you Jin and-just thank you. Thank you for this night, thank you for the ring, thank you for being you." Yoongi finished. Yoongi could see Jin was touched and was trying not to cry.
"That was the best present, you could have gotton me." Jin said and kissed Yoongi passionate. "I love you." Yoongi burried his head in Jin's chest and they tangled up every free limp they had. They continued to small talk after Jin had gathered himself. When they were both getting tired they decided to go to bed. They blew out the candles and went upstairs to Yoongi's room where they cuddled again as they fell asleep.
