Then Gerahmy said,
"Here we are, well goodbye Fionna," he said, setting my bags down and walking away.
I scrambled for my keys, not being able to wait anymore on meeting my new room mates! I finally unlocked the door, and opened it. Wow, the dorm was huge, there was a big living room, with a couch and 40" flat screen screen t.v., a kitchen, three bedrooms, and a really big bathroom. I saw a girl walk into the livingroom, on her phone, she looked up and she saw me standing there. This girl had greyish, blue eyes, and short brown hair. She wore a turqoise short sleeved high low top, some black skinny jeans, pink flower-printed DC's, a big heart necklace, and a bright pink beanie. Her eyes lit up when she saw me, and she practically screamed,
"Oh my glob! Hi, I'm Evelyn, you must be Fionna! It's so nice to finally meet you!" She ran up to me and hugged me, I was little surprised at this, but she let go and picked up my bags, "lets go to your room!" Evelyn ran to my room, and set my stuff down on the floor. "You already have clean sheets, blankets, and pillow cases, and your school books are over in the corner over there," she pointed at the books piled up on a desk, in the corner with a lamp. "Well, need any help unpacking?"
"Umm, nah I'm good thanks." I told her.
"Okay," Evelyn said. Then took out her phone from her pocket and she skipped out of the room, and left me to unpack.
I just finished unpacking when Evelyn walked back into my room with a girl. "Fionna Valerie, Valerie Fionna!" Evelyn said happily, gesturing to the other girl. Valerie seemed like her name belonged to a girl who was nice, polite, and shy, and when I looked at her that is what I saw. Valerie had long, straight, black hair. Her eyes were green. I have never seen anyone with green eyes before. She was wearing a coral colored sweater, that seemed to be too big for her because the sleaves went passed her hands and almost down her knees. She was also wearing black leggings that went down to her ankles, with grey ankle socks, with white Converse, and she had a white crystal necklace and a clip in her hair, to hold her bangs out of her face, to match it.
"H-hi," she said, looking at me, and then the ground. Her voice as very quiet.
"Hey, it's nice to meet you," I reached out my hand to shake hers. Valerie looked at my hand, then to Evelyn, as if asking her if she had too. Evelyn nodded at Valerie, and Valerie hesistantly reached for my hand, and shook it. Satisfied, Evelyn smiled and walked out of the room actually putting her phone in her pocket, and not doing things on it for once. Valerie quickly followed her out, and when they got into the living room, I was still in my room just about to walk through the door when I heard Evelyn say something to Valerie,
"Val, I know your shy, but you need to lighten up a bit," she said in a stern tone. I looked around the corner, hoping they wouldn't see me, and Evelyn was staring into Valerie's eyes, grabbing her shoulders. Evelyn let go of her, and turned to go into the kitchen. She yelled, "Hey Fionna! Come here!"
"Coming!" I yelled back, but just before I took one step over the threshold, Valerie rushed past me into what must have been her room behind the door across the hall. I walked into the kitchen and asked Evelyn, "Uhh, sorry for eavesdropping, but I heard you two talking just a second ago. Is she okay?"
"Oh yeah, she just gets really shy in front of new people, and she is really fucking closterphobic." I flinched a little when she said the word 'fucking', "Hey, you do know that it's okay to swear here right? I mean its not like we're gonna get in trouble or anything," she said. I nodded, of course, she's right how would we even get in trouble anyway? Then she added, "Oh and, by the way, only use them when necessary, and" Evelyn started talking a little quieter now, "don't say any of them in front of Valerie," she went back to her normal voice she used only a moment before, "got it?" She was smiling now, again, and I said,
"Yes, absolutely!" I said. Cool, I can swear, but what's with Evelyn and smiling, she smiled a lot, not that I didn't like when she smiled, I mean she could make a sad person happy instantly just by smiling at them, I bet.
"So, Fionna, What does your schedule say?" Evelyn asked me, snapping me back to reality.
"Oh, umm," I went to grab it out of my room, and ran back to the kitchen, Evelyn already had hers in her hand, I looked at my schedule, "My 1st hour is ELA, 2nd is Music, 3rd, History, 4th, Science, 5th, Art, then I have lunch, and my 6th hour is Math, and 7th, P.E." I ended, looking up at Evelyn. She was looking over her own schedule. Her eyes lit up and she had a huge smile on her face when she looked at me,
"Oh my glob, we have 4 classes together!" She jumped up in excitement. "We have ELA, Music, Science, and P.E. together!" Evelyn said with a smile.
Then we heard a door open. Valerie walked into the kitchen looking kinda sad, and said, "What are you guys so excited about?" Putting extra emphasis on 'you'.
"Oh, well," Evelyn started saying with a smile, then Valerie's face started to lighten up a bit, I was right. "so you know how you and I have 4 classes together?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, Fionna and I have ELA, Music, Science, and P.E. together, so just like you and me! Well, except for Music, you have Art," Evelyn said. She was so excited that she ran up and hugged Valerie. Valerie was shocked, she didn't know what to do, I could tell from the expression on her face. Valerie's breathing became a bit heavier, and Evelyn quickly let go and said, "Oh sorry, I forgot." She said, with a look on her face. The look you give when you see someone gets hurt really bad. "Oh by the way," Evelyn turned to me, "We have a couple days before school actually starts for real, 'so that the students can get used to the school' says our dumb principle, even though we aren't even going into the actual school," then Evelyn shrugged, and pulled out her phone when she felt it vibrate her butt. Then she looked at her new text message, and she laughed. She typed something, sent it, and looked back up at Valerie and I, we were just staring at her while she was texting.
"Who was that?" I asked Evelyn. She blushed, then said,
"Oh, just a guy,"
"W-was it Kendall?" Valerie asked quietly.
"Maybe," they both giggled, Evelyn still blushing.
"What did he say?"
"Oh nothin, just that he wanted to come over today!"
"Eeeeeeeeeeehhhh!" They screamed simultaneously.
"Umm, sorry to interrupt, but who's Kendall?" Evelyn and Valerie looked at me and then Evelyn started,
"Oh, right sorry, umm, Kendall is just one of my guy friends,"
"Well it doesn't sound like it," I said.
"What do you mean?" Asked Evelyn, her face faultered at this.
"I mean, you totally like him!" I yelled out.
" Umm, what? Noo, I dont know what your talking about," Evelyn said, looking at the ground and blushing fiercely.
"Your a terrible liar," I stated.
" I know," she groaned, a look of disapointment on her face.
"Hey, Evy?" Valerie asked Evelyn.
"Yeah Val?"
"Is Nick coming?" Valerie asked, blushing.
"Hold on a sec," Evelyn took out her phone, and texted Kendall.

Evelyn- Okay Kendall, don't tell Nick, but Valerie wants to know if Nick can come over too, can you ask him to come please?
Kendall- Sure thing, but can Marshall come? I think he needs to hang out with some of his other friends, he's been taking the breakup with Ashley really hard.
Evelyn- Yeah he can come, my new room mate just came today, she's great! Her names Fionna!
Kendall- Cool, BTW, Nick said he'd come, see ya Evy!

"He's totally coming! Also, he's bringing his other room mate, Marshall! He just broke up with Ashley, and he's taking it really hard."Evelyn said. Wait, Marshall? I know Marshall! We used to be best friends when we were younger, but then he moved away, and never told me why. Ugh, I was so mad, but also really sad. Ashley, I don't know her, of course, how could I when Marshall and I dont even hang out anymore?! Woah Fionna, calm down, I thought, gettin' mad for nothing.
"Oh, poor Marshall. I hope he feels better when he hangs with his friends, and makes a new one!" Valerie gestured at me. They clearly didn't know about our past...
