Samantha's POV.
"Her name, is Rebekah Mikaelson." he said, my body stiffened in fright.
I looked at him. Then realisation hit me.
Mikaelson. Mikaelson. Mikaelson.
Nicklaus Mikaelson! She was Klaus's sister, the lunatic woman that I had heard stories about from Jeremy.
Oh no. No no no hell no.
My father was not going to their house so that they can use him in any way, or poison him. Or possibly kill him to torture me. I wouldn't allow it.
"You can't go." I said, my eyes wide and alert.
He looked at me. Then blinked, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"I am going. You can stay home if you don't want to come." he said, retreating slowly.
I stood as I grabbed my phone, texting my mother.
My dad stopped his movements, he looked at me in question.
No way in hell!- my mother responded immediately.
He's not going.-came next.
"What're you doing?" he questioned.
"Texting mom.''I blurted, then my whole body froze in horror. I stood wide-eyed as I looked at my father, waiting for any form of reaction.
"Samantha, we've been over this, Christine is dead." he whispered... As if trying to persuade a child.
I was sick and tired of hearing him say that, so I dialed her number and put it on loudspeaker.
"Samantha no, I won't let him go." Was her greetings.
I looked at my father as he paled. He takes a noticeable step backwards and his face falls in pure shock.
"C-Christine? I-is that y-you?" he asked.
Silence came.
"Yes, it's me." She answered a few moments later.
"How? But you died." he said as he grabbed the phone out my hand.
She sniffled. She was crying.
He was too stunned to look at me for conformation.
"Can we not talk about this over the phone? I'll come over in ten minutes." she said and later hung up.
I looked at my father as he broke down.
"I should've believed you." he kept whispering.
It was hard to understand but I did. I knew how hard it was to believe what you want to believe in order to move on from pained memories.
"It's okay dad. Let me get dressed and I'll meet you downstairs." I said and he left a few seconds later.
I quickly used the bathroom and made myself presentable. I went downstairs, just as my mother approached.
I invited her in as my father stared wide eyed.
Then he fainted.
