I pull my trunk next to the end of the bunk along with Jared's small cage. I hadn't seen him in a while. He must be with a friend or finding something to eat. For ten months?! My conscience shouted. I silently agree with it. I told Harry, Hermione, and Ron all about the sister thing and about how my ancestors are crazy wicked wizards with powers that come out of my finger tips or whatever. Hermione hadn't read about any wizards with that kind of magic and it's been driving her crazy all day. Dumbledore told me to make sure everything was packed before lunch. I have to been on the train by eight tonight. Sighing heavily, I pull out my charms book and set it on the night stand. "Audrey! Lunch!" A Gryffindor girl calls into the dormitory, probably a prefect.
I open the doors. There's no one here yet and there is no lunch. Confused and hungry, I walk back to the common room. "Hello? Anyone here?"
All I hear is...well...nothing. When you look at a fire, isn't it supposed to be burning? It's frozen in place, its orange flames burning...stopped. "Harry?!"
I scream through the halls. My heart beating so hard against my chest so hard it hurt to breathe. I went into my classes looking for anyone. I go into my charms classroom, where Harry was supposed to meet me. He's there sitting on the stool next to Ron smiling. Frozen. I walk up to them. I poked Ron's cheek. "Ron? Harry?" They're expressions stuck in a smile as they play with a paper football. "Harry, stop playing around!" I say smacking his shoulder. No response. "Please don't do this to me! Harry? Ron?"
This is wrong. Very wrong. Tom must have done this. Made my friends statues. Why didn't he freeze me?
I run down the corridor and unlock the doors to the cold air trickling at the back of my neck and down my arms. There were frozen people in the stands, Hermione is one of them. "What am I going to do?" I whisper myself. Then an image appears in my head. The cave, Draco, Tom. Tom. He must have something to do with time stopping.
I jumped into the boat, creating waves that randomly speckle my robes and my legs. I row to the other island and hurry out iof the boat. "Let's see, did he do any tapping?" Tapping, like on the wall with my wand. I tapped the wall a few times and it opened into a damp and wet rocky stair way. I gently take two steps in and the stair plumet into a rocky slide as I fall, head first downwards, the wall shutting behind me. "Gosh dang it, Tom." I mumble. I hear a piercing scream and my chest tightens with fear. That's Draco's scream.
I walk silnetly to the noise that had shouted out oh so loudly. I turn into a hallway, torches lighting my path as I reach a set of doors in a circular opening. I chose the left after a long game of enie minie moe. I peer through the bars that call as a window and see Draco, partially clothed and flooded with his own blood from his nose and his eye. It stinks, really bad. He's chained up to the wall, Voldemort must have whipped him cold, the blood is fresh. I hear him breathing shallowly. I whisper Alhomara with my wand the door unlocks loudly and I flinch. I stay still for a few seconds after not hearing angry foot steps. I open the door. "Draco?"
He mumbles a reply I couldn't catch but I fly over to him anyways. I hold his face in between my hands, slapping them gently. "Stay with me, don't leave." His eyes continue to stay closed. "Draco, c'mon. It's ok. I need your help."
I whisper looking behind my shoulder every now and then. I unlatch him form the wall, from the chains, and into my arms. I tear my robe to make five strips of cloth to stop the bleeding from his eye, two on his leg, and two for his arms. He gasp out in pain, his hand grabbing onto my hand that was wrapping the cloth around his eye. "Stop."
"Did Tom do this to you? Oh, excuse me. Did Voldemort do this to you?" He doesn't deserve to be called the sweet Tom I used to know. Draco stood using the wall instead of perfectly capable me who patched him up. He was still breathing shallow and I wished I could do more instead of watching him. "You...made this." He says pointing to me.
"I didn't do that Draco, I was at the dormitory worrying about you and evryone else..." That was sort of true.
"Your...twin...you!" He lunged at me pulling my hair and yanking me to the floor. He sat on top of me. I pinched one of his wounds and he let go of my hair and I pinned him to the ground, Draco groaning in response. "I have a twin sister, Draco! I would never hurt you on purpose like this. Never. Her name is Thea."
It's amazing how I've held in so many burning tears while Draco is just pouring. "Sorry...I just..." He mumbled as I let go of his hands and got off him. "She's evil if you hadn't noticed and I need you to help me find Voldemort and Thea. They might be working together to freeze the world...I'll explain that later. We have to find her quick." I whisper urgently. I help him up. "Thea went that way...go on without me..."
I roll my eyes. "Don't be such a baby. C'mon let's go get her." I hear him muffle a laugh. I wrap an arm around his waist and help him in the direction he said she had went. We came down the hallway, where there were no sign of life but the statues stuck in their positions forever. Well, until we found Thea.
I struggled opening the door and almost dropped Draco when I saw Thea. Its like looking into a mirror, except Thea is smirking.
"Long time no see, sister." I recognize her voice as the Gryffindor prefect from earlier. I'm breathing fast, patting my side pockets for my wand. She held up my willow wand, not containing her smirk anymore. "Looking for your pathetic defense? You're making this way too easy, Audrina."
"I'm not your sister." I say curling my fingers into a fist.
Draco yawns. "When you guys decide to stop bickering, I'll be waiting to cheer on the winner of a duel." He limps to the window, sliding down to the floor and examines his nails.
I meet her gaze for a moment. "Ah, you think I am the one who froze your precious friends...and your boyfriend. What's his name again?"
"Stop talking! Let's just get this over with. Why do you even hate me? You don't know me."
She rolls her eyes. "Draco, do you have a decent wand Audrina can use?" I hold my breath as she kneels beside him and messes with his robes. I hear a gurgling noise and I think Thea has done something. "What are you doing?" I stand on my tip toes. Thea stands and turns to me. Blood is smeared on her hands. "Move!" I say running to Draco and pushing her out of the way. He has a cut on his throat. He is choking on his own blood. "Draco!!" I shriek getting on my knees, hands shaking and tears falling. I pull him on the ground and rip more of my robes for another bandage. I apply pressure to the wound, my vision blurry. He stops choking. I wipe my eyes. He's looking at me and smiling. He squeezes my hand, the pressure getting softer and softer. "Draco? Please don't...don't..." I say between sobs. I lay my head onto his chest, gripping his robes and crying. I hear Thea's footsteps behind me. Getting closer and closer. I'm going to kill her.
I hear her laugh, the laugh I thought was mine my entire life. My entire life I was safe. Now no one is safe.
I spin around, hoping to push her into the floor, she ends up on the wall behind her with a SMACK.
Thea breathed in like she hadn't breathed her whole life and let out a forced laugh. "So your power is manipulation. Just like Mom."
Just like mom?
"How would you know?" Ha! I made her fly into the wall! Awesome!
She stands and stares fiercely at me. "I know because I was born first! Expelliarmus!"
I dodge the green light and the wall behind me exploded putting Draco under the stones. I really should have put him somewhere safer. And maybe closed his eye lids. I can see them poking out of the rubble, glassy, with no life. My eyes water but I don't wipe them away. "Well guess who has lived with her, her whole life!" She is thrown to the wall again, her spine hitting it first. But she stands again. Is she even human? If Draco can't handle being whipped then how can she stand after being slammed into the wall?
She groans and stands once more, but holding her side. "Audrina, why are you so mean to your big sister? I have done nothing wrong. It's you, that should be shamed."
"You have murdered my best friend, frozen everyone I know, and I never even knew you existed so why should I be 'shamed' if you have never been in my life?"
I spit and wipe some dust off my forehead. I turn to go and find Draco in the rubble. I move the rocks out of the way and find his head. I pull him out of the rubble, hearing chuckles at my attempts to hold him up. "Oh. I forgot. You might have never experienced this for your self, Thea. This-" I motion my arms to me and Draco. "-is friendship. Courage and faithfulness." I state, giving up on holding him up and slump to the ground with him. "He's gone now, who cares? One less soul to torture. Everyone deserves to go peacefully right?" She say inching her wand up to her waist and pointing it at me. I could see her tongue, wiggling around, joyfully waiting to say the words to end my life already. She circles me, I hold Draco's head to the crook of my neck and squeeze my eyes shut. I hear wood fall. I open my eyes. Thea is holding her neck and opening her mouth wide. I grab my wand as a black fog surrounds her, crawling up her lap. I scoot Draco and I away from her. She is now just a blotch with black fog surrounding her. A wind comes in and the black fog flys out the hole in the wall. Thea wasn't there anymore. Relief flooded my eyes and I was crying. Draco wasn't breathing, no one could help if there was hope because they're all frozen. Everything was blury and I don't care. I screamed and hear it echo all around me, reminding me of my pain.

Believe me when I'm trying not to do any cliff hangers anymore...or well just once in a while. Yes I switch from past tense to present tense, I have to work on that. Comment what you think I should work on.
What do you think will happen next for Audrey?
Thank you all for reading so far and still are reading even if it does get boring and stupid!!!*
