"School, is important kids." Mr. Washington drones on. "With school, you can be like the important Alexander Hamilton" Your head slid off your hand as you heard Hamilton. This guy named "Phillip" stood up and shuffled his way to the front of the class. Everyone could tell he was embarrassed. .He was cute. You smiled at him, and he smiled a tiny smile back. "THIS is the wonderful Alexander Hamilton's son." EVERYTHING Mr. Washington said was about Hamilton. You placed your books in a way they were comfortable and settled down. You did this before you realized Phillip was going to share a presentation about his father. You put your books away and leaned in closely. Your best friend, Theodosia smirked at you. You scowled at her.
After about 20 minutes
"So, um yeah! My dad's pretty cool.. I guess." The class applauded. It turns out the dude IS pretty cool! After lunch, you went to the library to learn more about Hamilton. You picked up lots of books and set them on wooden table in the library. You were so engaged in the things he created, you didn't even notice Phillip sit next to you. "Am I in that one?" You jumped, clutching the book. "UM, YES?" You said unnecessarily loud. You both chuckled, not caring the librarian was scolding you. You ended up using your free period talking with Phillip in the library. As he walked away, he winked. "See you later" He said to you. You fist pumped the air "Score." you whispered to yourself,
