Marinette's POV
It is Thursday.
Which means we're closer to Friday.
Which means the weekend.
Though everyone was buzzing about that dance tomorrow, I was peacefully walking from my locker to the outside of the school.
That peace went away real quick.
Its replacement was surprise.
In front of me I saw our class making a semicircle around Adrien, who had a guitar on his lap. Flowers were spread out, forming a little walkway. Then I heard the first strum to his song.
We were once strangers
But now we gratefully found each other
And now I gotta say
You and your midnight blue hair
Gets me all up and aware
Of how much I actually need you and your heart
I never really understood this whole love thing
But now you got me up and real ready
I really can-not explain my feelings this well
But I need you to know:
I was in love from the start
I don't want us to get torn apart
We're soulmates so how could I not?
You gotta know I love you a whole lot
So I wanna ask you to the dance
Yeah I know I got no chance
But then again I really want us to live a life together
And the main thing will be
That I love you
But do you love me?
I stared at the blond for a long time.
Then I felt my head nodding, faster with each second. I ran through that walkway and jumped onto him as soon as he put his guitar down to engulf him in a hug.
Looks like I'm not going to be a loner tomorrow.
