LEO
"LEO!" The sound of Bailey yelling my name work me up from my slumber and I still groggy from sleep ran up to our room to find her sitting on the edge of the bathtub with a white stick in hand. I blinked, all traces of sleep vanishing, staring at her
"What is it?" I asked walking over to he and kneeling down to be at her eye level. She looked up with tears in her eyes as she handed me the stick. Taking it from her, I looked down at it to see two bright pink lines and felt my heart race and eyes widen.
"We need to go to the doctors to make sure" I said and she sniffled nodding
"What if it's really negative and this is all false? I don't want to get my hopes up only to get them crushed" she whispered and I swallowed the knot in my throat and said while cupping her face gently
"Everything will okay" she looked at me with tears streaming down her cheeks but nodded. It's been five months since our wedding. Bennett had stayed with my parents while we were away always alternating with Allen.
"Let's just go see the doctor okay?" I said and she nodded with a sniffle. Allen had taken Bennett to the park to play so I texted him asking if he could take Bennett to my parents house I stead of here. He asked what the problem was but I just told him that we'd let him know when we got back. Grabbing our winter coats and shoes since we were in the middle of November, we left the house locking the door behind us and got in the car.

We waited patiently for the nurse to call us in and when she did we were led to a room down the hall and she asked Bailey al sorts of questions and did a few tests and asked her to give them a urine sample before letting us know that the doctor will be in shortly. We sat in silence for a good 10 minutes before Dr. Kent came in and asked her what the problem was.
"I've been nauseous for a few weeks now and I took a pregnancy test earlier today and it came back positive" Bailey answered and he nodded writing it down on his chart before asking her to lay back on the cot.
"How long has those symptoms been going on for?" He asked
"Three weeks"I replied and he nodded
"Does it hurt here?" He asked but she shook her head.
"When was the last day of your last period?" He quizzed and Bailey bit her lip
"September 14th" she replied and he nodded helping her sit up.
"The test results should be in a few minutes and we'll know for sure. Have you been pregnant before?" He said and Bailey nodded
"I had a miscarriage a few months ago" she answered
"Were you in any vitamins?"
"We only found out that she was pregnant for a short period before she lost the baby so she wasn't given any vitamins" I answered and he nodded
"Were you taking any other medicine while pregnant?" And the questions went on that way for a few minutes all of which the answer to were no.
"We need to do some tests to see why you had a miscarriage and then we'll be able to prevent it from happening again" he said and then said that he'd be back shortly eight he results.

"Congratulations you're indeed expecting. You are roughly 10 weeks along" the doctor said when he walked back into the room and we were thrilled. He said that they needed to do some blood tests to see what had caused the miscarriage. We left shortly after they drew some blood and they told us that they'd call us with the results so we could go in to talk about what could be done to prevent Bailey from having a miscarriage again.
"We're having a baby" she whispered as we drove home and I looked over to see that she had her hands flat in her belly. She was beaming like a ray of sunshine. We had picked Bennett from my parent house after leaving the doctors office with them asking us what was wrong but we assured them that it was nothing and to not worry. We were going to keep the news from them for a few more weeks.
"And were going to do everything we can to prevent anything from happening to it" I said and she nodded with a smile as she laces her fingers with mine.

We went to Brazil for the winter and we were having a new year party at the house there and before that we decided to do a pregnancy announcement. We spoke to the doctor and he said that she could fly but to take her vitamins.
After hours on the plane we landed safely at the airport and were escorted to the mansion by some of Uncle Ashton's men. We came a few days early to set everything up for the announcement while our family were flying later this week.
On December 29th we were all gathered in the backyard and they looked at us when they saw a cardboard college of Bennett with three chalkboards each saying a phrase. They walked over to the board before gasping and turned toward us with wide eyes and we just smiled as I had my hand on Bailey's bump while she held Bennett on her hip.
The first picture was of Bennett sitting down and holding the first chalkboard. The second was of him standing by the chair with the second board and the last one was of him standing on the chair -pointing toward Bailey who was making funny faces at him to get his attention since he was getting agitated- and held the last chalkboard.
"Are you serious?" Mama asked as they all walked over to us and we nodded again before we were tackled in a hug as they congratulated us on the news. We thanked them before going back inside to have something to eat.

The following months went quickly and before we knew it, Bailey was already 38 weeks along. We decided to keep the gender a secret, wanting it to be a surprise to everyone. She was due any day now and we have been preparing everything since day one. She's been taking her vitamins daily and has stopped taking the antibiotics when she reached the third trimester as the doctor had said that she could have a miscarriage at any stage.
"LEO!" Bailey yelled and I ran up the stairs to our room to find Bailey leaning against the dresser as she scrunched her eyes in pain, her sweatpants were dark and a pile of water laid at her feet
"I-I think it's time" she whimpered taking a deep breath. I cursed and grabbed the diaper bag and travel bag for both her and the baby after helping her out of the wet pants and into clean ones before helping her down. I helped her into the car before going back inside to get Bennett as well as call both the doctor and our family to let them know. They said that they'll meet us at the hospital shortly before hanging up. I walked back to the car and strapped Bennett into his car seat before driving out of the driveway.
We got to the hospital at 3 in the morning and were greeted by the family. Bailey was screaming and moaning at the pain saying that she had the urge to push. They took us to a delivery room and checked to see how far she was dilated before announcing that she was ready 10 cm. They had no time to give her any pain medicine. I was told to put on a gown and mask. The doctor was already dressed and the nurses were ready to help in anything. The room was filled with Bailey's screams and curses and I kept reassuring her that she was doing amazing.
"One more push and this baby will be out" Dr. Kent said and Bailey whimpered taking a deep breath before she was pushing again. The loud cries of our baby filled the air soon after and Bailey laid back, breathing heavy as sweat coated her hair and face.
"You did amazing baby"I murmured as tears rolled down my cheeks at the loud cries of our baby. She gave me a soft smile as we waited for them to bring the baby to us.
"Congratulations, you have a healthy baby..."
an here's a new chapter what do you think the gender is?what should the name be? this book is coming to its end very soon and it's the end of the series.....or is it😏 i may or may not have decided to extend the series a little more but idk yet
