Louis POV
Today is Gracie’s birthday we have a big day planned for her I really hope she enjoys it. The last couple of days things have been ok she is still a little quiet but she is eating sleeping and interacting with us all again so that is a positive. I have everyone gathered down stairs to go over the plan again and confirming little details I want this to be perfect because tomorrow is going to be very very hard for her. We all put on a party hat and go and wake Grace up so we can start her special day. We start singing happy birthday as she starts to wake up she is so cute as she tries to wake up and comprehend what is going on.
“Happy birthday my little Princess” I say scooping her up into a big hug kissing her cheek.
“Thnkyou daddy” she says El quickly comes over taking her from me
“I can’t believe my baby girl is 7 today you are growing so fast my beautiful baby girl. You’re not going to be a baby for much longer you just keep growing” El says her eyes lined with tears. Grace grabs Els face looking her in the eyes
“Don’t worry Mummy I will always be your baby girl” she says before kissing her forehead I take a quick snap it is such a beautiful picture I set it as my wallpaper. She is passed to Liam and I go and stand behind El and she leans into me we watch as she is passed from one person to another. Perrie isn’t here she is getting the girls to put together her party we have a few people coming over
“Ok Princess get dressed we have some plans today” I tell her as I usher them out the room
“Wait I have a special outfit for you today” El says running to Gracie’s wardrobe and pulling out a bag.
Grace pulls out a pair of black tights a cute denim skirt with like frills and a black top saying birthday girl in pink writing.
“I know you said you don’t want to wear skirts or dresses but I thought maybe with the tights underneath and knowing that you are safe here it would be ok, plus it is uber cute.” El says looking hopeful at Grace
“I love it thnkyou she says El smiles big we start walking out
“Wait mummy you are going to have to do my hair” Grace says you can hear some excitement in her voice this makes me smile.
“No worries baby girl I will wait here go get changed in bathroom” I head El say before I walk out. I can’t wait for today.
Grace POV
I get woken up by everyone singing happy birthday I decided not to let the past destroy my birthday with my new loving family dad has been telling me that they have some good surprises for my birthday I am actually excited there is still that nagging voice in the back of my head saying it will be a repeat of my other birthdays but I am learning to ignore that voice it is hard though.
“Happy birthday my little Princess” Daddy says scooping me into a massive hug I love these types of hugs they make me feel so loved he places a big kiss on my cheek he is so funny.
“Thnkyou daddy” I say, I always try and use my manners. I am all the sudden taken from dad straight into a massive embrace from Mummy I pull back from the hug looking at Mum
“I can’t believe my baby girl is 7 today you are growing so fast my beautiful baby girl. You’re not going to be a baby for much longer you just keep growing” She says her eyes lined with tears I grab Mummies face looking her in the eyes
“Don’t worry Mummy I will always be your baby girl” I tell her and I really hope I always will be I love my family I love how they treat me as a kid, sometimes they baby me but I generally like it, it makes me feel loved and since I missed a big part of my life been treated like a kid/ baby. I get passes to the others and they all give me a massive hug and wish me a happy birthday. I get back to Mum and Dad, dad is standing behind mum and she is leaning into him they make a really cute couple.
“Ok Princess get dressed we have some plans today” Dad says as the others start to leave
“Wait I have a special outfit for you today” Mum says running to my wardrobe and pulling out a bag handing it to me
I pull out a pair of black tights a denim skirt with like frills and a black top saying birthday girl in pink writing. I still don’t feel comfortable at the thought of wearing skirts.
They plan on getting someone to hurt you first there are planning surprises now a skirt
Gah that stupid voice I want it to stop I know that mum and dad won’t do anything to hurt me

“I love it thnkyou” I watch Mums face light up they start walking out I realize that today is special I want my hair done nice
“Wait mummy you are going to have to do my hair” I say opps maybe I should have asked
“No worries baby girl I will wait here go get changed in bathroom” mum says I run into the bathroom excited to see what we are doing today. I take a quick shower and get dressed I look in the mirror I actually like the way I look right now the outfit is really cute.

Don’t worry you look beautifully and you really are skinny
I walk out to mum, aww you look so adorable, beautiful as always” Mum says with a smile as she pats the bed in front of her. I quickly jump onto the bed and crawl over.
“ok I’m going to try something new today” mum says I just nod after at 15 minutes she tells me she is finished I walk over the mirror she has braided the front on each side that leads to the back of my hair and the braid continues to a braid down my back in a small braid and the bottom half of my hair is falling down my back in natural waves I love it. I run back to mum and jump into her arms
“I love it mummy thnkyou, I feel pretty” I say to her that last bit kind of slipped out.
“Well as always baby you look very pretty” Mum says we slide of the bed and I grab her hand and we skip down stairs. We get to the kitchen where the others are they are all dressed already.
“OK miss Birthday girl first we are going to breakfast” Uncle Harry says we all go to the car I sit on Daddy’s lap. We pull up to a parking lot after about 30 minutes of driving.
“ok Princess we want this to be a surprise but we want to blindfold you but we know you don’t like that so we want to ask you first, one of us will carry you if that makes you feel safer” Dad says the flashbacks make their way to the front of my mind.
“Caa... can I umm ok then and can Mummy carry me” I ask dad nods and a blindfold is placed over my eyes I shake a little but remind myself I am safe I feel myself picked up for whatever reason I tense and shake some more
“Is that you mummy” I ask quietly even though I can kind of tell it is her from her perfume.
“Yea it’s me baby girl don’t panic” she says I relax and lean into her shoulder I take deep breaths I’m safe. I feel mum rubbing circles on my back its ok not with bad people, oh no the court case is tomorrow the bad people will be there. No focus on today, take one day at a time calm down Grace just calm down your safe
“Ok baby I’m going to put on the ground now but I’ll still hold your hand” mum says I nod and feel myself been placed on my feet I quickly search for mums hand. It is quickly grasped.
“Ok princess we are going to take of the blindfold” I hear dad say I jump a little he startled me. the blind fold comes of I look we are at a park there is a massive pond in front of us with willow trees around it the is a fountain in the middle I then notice a nice picnic table with food set up on it between two of the tree there is a sign saying Happy birthday it is really nice.
“Happy birthday sweetheart” I hear a familiar voice I spin around and there is Aunty Vicky I run straight to her and give her a hug
“Surprise!” she says I smile and give her another hug she puts me down
“My lady may I escort you to your seat” I hear another familiar voice ask I spin around and Avan is standing there I run up to him and jump into his arms for a cuddle. He throws me in the air as if I am nothing and catches me before embracing me into a hug.
“What are you doing here Avie?” I ask I’m glad he is here it makes the day feel even more special
“Do you really think I would miss my beautiful best friend’s birthday?” he says to tell you the truth I didn’t even know he knew when my birthday was I figured once we left he would kind of forget about me.
“Let’s eat” Niall says we go over to the table there is pancakes and fruit and eggs and some bacon. I sit next to mum and Avan I can’t believe him and Vic are here. I get some food and start eating. Once we ate we started running around had a little game of soccer I scored two goals and my team one and me and uncle Niall had a race to see who could climb a tree the fastest yeah I won that one Niall is not very good at climbing trees.
Once we finished breakfast we all pile back into the car, today has been awesome already and apparently it is only just beginning. We get to the next stop we get to another car park I look at dad and he just smiles.
“first of we have this place for 3 hours it is laser tag and an arcade” dad says I have never played laser tag but I have heard about arcades before they seem really fun and dad has hired it for 3 hours so we won’t have fans screaming for the boys. This is going to be awesome we all get out of the car and take of running to the entry there is a guy greeting us.
“First thing is laser tag let’s get kitted up” he say I look Uncle Harry he beckons me over he helps me put on the vest. We break into teams red and blue
On red there is Avan, Harry, Zayn, Liam and me on blue there is Vic, Niall, dad, mum
“All you have to do kitten is run and hide if you see someone in the blue you shoot the laser and they get disabled we have to disable all them so they can’t get the flag. It is a little dark in there but there are some parts with lights so maybe stick next to one of them.one of us will get the other flag” Harry explains to me I nod in understanding we walk into an arena Liam shows me where there is a light that will stay on yet at the same time there is some place to hide.
Lam makes sure I am situated the lights go of but there is a dim light above me I hear people running I keep my eye out for a blue light. After about 5 minutes I see one I shot at it I hear someone groan it sounds like Dad I laugh silently but go back to hiding. My team one we got the flag I managed to disable dad, Niall and Vic. We get our score cards and they tell us who we were taken out by I didn’t actually get shot at.
“Oh my god Grace you’re the one that disabled me, how could you do that to you darling Father, who clothed and fed you” dad says jokingly
“it was easy you didn’t look around” I say to him he scoops me up and start tickling me I start screaming and laughing quickly running out of breath
“Never fear Gracie Dear Avie’s here to save the day” Avan screams
“and uncle Harry” harry yells Avan starts tickling dad making him stop tickling me uncle Harry quickly takes me from dad .
“I saved the beautiful princess from the tickle King” Harry says placing me on his shoulder.
“Wait wait wait” I say loudly
“What’s the matter Baby girl?” Mum ask
“Can we please play games now” I as using my baby voice they all look at me their faces looking lovingly.
“Of course we can, oh and I got you tokens you have 200 tokens each” the man says I should really learn his name. he hands us cups and we all run of in to different directions I see a car racing game I want to try I get into the seat but I can’t reach the peddles I try but I can’t reach I pout a little I really wanted to play.
“Hey birthday girl don’t pout what’s the matter” the guys ask he seems nice but I really don’t feel comfortable been around people I don’t know or who they others don’t know. I also notice he has an Australian accent
“I uhh I err umm” I can’t get the words out I start to panic a little bit.
“ hey its ok sweetheart calm down, I’m guessing you can’t reach the pedals do you want some help, how about I do the pedals you control the steering” he says his voice seems sincere and I really really want to play the game . What if he hurts me somehow, wait not everyone is out to hurt me. He stands next to me waiting for an answer.
“Umm if you have time tha... that would be helpful” I say he doesn’t give of a bad vibe so I think it is safe.
“Of course I have time we can’t let the birthday girl not be able to play the games, jump out for a second sweetie” he says I get out watching him cautiously can never be too careful he slides into the seat.
“Come on sweetie lets beat this game.” He says holding out his hand I carefully take it and he pulls me closer and gently lifts me over his leg he sits me on the little bit of seat in front of him I decide to stand in front of him I stand there tense
“Ok ready for this Grace” he ask I nod he leans over and presses some buttons making me panic for a second but control myself. Soon the countdown starts then the car on the screen starts moving and I steer we are doing really good the game finishes and I came first. I jump up and down with excitement.
“Look buddy you set the 5th highest score on this machine, put you name in” he says I was about to write my name but realize if he didn’t help I wouldn’t be able to play.
“What’s your name” I ask him without looking at him.
“Jesse Thomas” he says I put the name as GT&JT
“Thnkyou for your help Jesse can we play again I want to get the top score” I say feeling a bit more confident around him.
“Of course we can buddy let’s do it”
We spend another hour playing the game by now I am sitting on his lap and we have set all the top 10 except for number one, we are having lots of fun and laughing away. We finish the game and wait for results. I see it we got the top time we actually did it
“Look JT look we did it” yes I gave him a nickname I turn and before I know it I gave him a hug but quickly pulled back he laughs and messes my hair I see the others have joined us dad and mum comes and stand next to us mum and dad look really proud
“Look daddy me and Jesse have set the top 10 times” I say to him jumping up and down in front of Jesse.
“Calm down mate” Jesse says laughing he lift me over his legs again and past me to dad.
“You must be very good at the game princess.” Dad say
“Actually dad me and JT are good at this game he does the pedals I steer cos I couldn’t reach” I tell him
“Well thnkyou Jt for helping her she seems to like you it is rare for her to let people she doesn’t know even talk to her without freaking out” dad says to him
“Dude I’m still here” I sass him I don’t mind him telling JT that though I think because he was so nice I trusted him straight away.
“No worries sir she is a good kid I think we are friends now aren’t we buddy?” Jesse says I nod at him yay another friend.
We finish up at the arcade I played lots of the other games and we even spent time in the photo booth. It was so much fun I can’t stop bouncing when we get to the car I have had a really really good day. I’m sitting on mums lap I’m playing with her hair she has really nice hair.
“Are you having a good day baby girl” mum ask me of course I’m having fun.
“I don’t think there is enough ways I can thnkyou guys for today it has been awesome” I tell her
“Well baby it’s not over yet we still have a few more surprises” mum says wow there is more they have done so much already. I wonder what is next does it really get any better than this. Wow was I in for a shock when we get home.
We get home and the house is dark when we walk in the light turns on and people yell surprise I look around I see aunty Perrie and the girls from little mix there are a few other people but I don’t know who they are. I ran over and give aunty Perrie, Jesy Leigh and jade a hug they all wish me a happy birthday I ran back to mum and dad and mum picks me up.
“Thnkyou two so much I love you to the moon and back this is awesome. But who is everyone else” I say feeling a little shy.
“ these are some friends of our don’t worry we will introduce you to them, if you start getting to over whelmed let one of us know” Mum says I nod and turn in her arms as we starts walking the first person we stop at his name is Simon but the boys call him uncle Si he is like in charge of them in a sense he seems really nice there is also Demi Lovato again she seems really nice she has an awesome laugh at first I was really shy but they made me feel at ease I am then introduces to dads family and mums family and a few other people who I don’t remember.
“hey quick bear there is a bouncy castle outside lets go play” niall runs over excited I look at mum and she nods and places me on the floor and me and Niall run of I see demi sitting on the couch as I run past I grab her hand and pull her with us she seemed a little lonely I hear her laugh behind me once I see the bouncy castle I stop it is huge and it has a slide I look behind me and see Demi still there
“Come on lets go” I say as I take my shoes of. Niall Avan Vic and Jade are already on their demi helps me on and we spend the next 2 hrs. Jumping running and just playing on it I even got dads parents Nan and Pop and also mums parents Gramps and Grans to come on and uncle Si my puppy dog eyes seem to work on everyone
“Gracie come one we have to open presents now” I hear dad call I run across the jumping castle and leap into his arms forgetting that it is bouncy we almost fall over but he steadies himself.
“Opps I’m sorry dad” I say laughing a little I look at dad he looks amused then burst out laughing.
“It is fine princess just let me brace myself next time.” Dad says then he throws me over his shoulder I hit is back gently pretending to hate been upside down but it is fun. We get inside he drops me on a couch I look up and pretend to be angry.
“Aww I’m sorry princess’ dad says I quickly smile
“ha-ha tricked you” I yell and jump up running before I crash into someone I look up and see demi I smile up at her acting all innocent and she picks me up and we go sit on the couch I really like Demi I think I made another friend. I am handed presents this is what I got.
Harry and Liam- an iPod and a $200 iTunes gift card and some awesome pink headphones
Niall and Vicky-a script to an unaired victorious episode that is signed by all the cast and guitar lessons from Niall (have wanted to learn for ages)
Zayn and Perrie- a $500 gift card to a local art supply shop and a pair of shoes with wings on them (they are so awesome
Nan and Pop- a hand knitted doll that kind of looks like me
Gramps and Grams- a Tinkerbelle pillow pet
Avan- a framed with three picture of us at the fair one on a ride, one smiling nice and a muck around photo where we are pulling a random face
Jade, Jesy and Leigh- some cookie dough and a copy of the secret garden and a little princess and their new yet to be released album that they signed including aunty Perrie
Uncle Si- a recording session at Sysco Records
Demi- a copy of stay strong and backstage passes to her concert
Mum and Dad- a silver hear locket with family written on one side and always on the other inside a picture of us and on the other side a picture of Eamon and me before he left. I tear up at this one and hug mum and dad it is my favorite present
The others got me some Disney DVDs. We have roast beef rolls for lunch and a chocolate cake after they all sing happy birthday the cake is in the shape of a soccer field and is French vanilla flavor.
Everyone let around 6:00 and we all chipped in to clean up I had a really nice day I made new friends Jt and Demi. It is now 9:30 and I am snuggled up with mum and dad in bed now that I have stopped I start thinking about tomorrow. I start feeling very scared I haven’t thought about it all day because I had such a good day. I feel myself starting to shake and I have trouble breathing. Mum and dad instantly realize and I am pulled into Mums lap and dad is also hugging me.
“breath baby just copy me in and out deep breath in and out baby just breath think about your breathing only baby” mum tells me and I do as she says. I eventually get my breathing back to normal.
“Princess don’t worry about tomorrow we are all going to be there including uncle Si and Demi and Jesy, Leigh and Jade also daddy Eamon will be there he will be as always looking down on you we are all going to be there to keep you safe no one will hurt you. You can’t let her win this fight princess” dad says and I nod he is right I have so many people there for me. And I really can’t let them win what if they do it to someone else.
“Thnkyou so much for today it was the best day ever and I absolutely love the locket” I tell them thinking back to today and all the fun things we did
“No worries princess we are so glad you had a good day you deserve it and we are glad you like the locket.” There is one question that has been playing on my mind where did they get that photo.
“Umm where did you get that picture of Eamon and me?” it is the same picture that is in my box of things from dad
“well umm I found a box in your room one day and saw the picture I took a picture of it and got it made small” dad says he seems a little uneasy I feel like I should be angered that he evaded my privacy but it was a sweet gesture
“Thanks” I say I start feeling very tired I yet out a yawn mum places me back between them and I lay down.
“Good night my beautiful baby girl I love you” Mum says kissing my forehead.
“I love you to Mummy and thnkyou again” I say before turning over to face dad
“Good night my 7 year old princess I love you” dad says kissing my cheek
“Love you to daddy and thanks for today” I say before rolling on my back I quickly fall asleep. Still slightly worried about tomorrow
