"They found out?" I asked him whille patting his back. I felt tingles. No way.
"Yeah," he nodded. "Hunters were after me."
"Hunters?" I raised a brow.
"I know that you know about me, Marni," he shook his head.
"I didn't know until now!" I protested.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you haven't made contact with me during the few months we've known each other," Adrian shook his head.
"Yeah, I haven't really touched you."
"You wanna touch me?" he smirked.
"Not like that you perv!" I smacked him on the arm.
"Ouch," he winced.
"Sorry! I didn't mean too!" I whispered.
"It's alright," he leaned against the wall.
"How'd you know I lived here?" I just realized I never told him this information.
"I could smell your scent near by," he shrugged. Or tried too.
"So why'd you come here?" I raised a brow.
"I had to find a place to hide out," he replied. "Besides, you're not human. Whatever you are, you can most likely help me, right?"
"Actually, you're in luck," I smiled.
"Really now?" he raised his eyebrow.
"Yup, just so happens I'm a witch," I told him.
"It's my lucky day!" he exclaimed sarcastically.
"Yeah, you bet it is. I'm about to save your life here!"
"Yeah, yeah," he rolled his eyes.
I took out my crystal from around my neck and held it on my palm. I pressed it against his wounds, and just like that they were gone. Normally vampires could heal themselves pretty quick, but Adrian got some real bad damage on him.
"Damn, they got you good," I traced my hand where the wounds used to be.
"Yeah, they must hate vampires. I didn't even do anything to them," he sighed.
"How'd they even know?" I asked curiously.
"They had this vampire tracker thing," he shrugged.
"They have one of those now? Dang. How many of them were there?"
"About 20 or 30."
"What?! And they were well trained? How'd you survive?" my eyes widened.
"Well not all of them were well trained. Most of them though. I managed to use the rest of my strength to run here."
"Oh, well congratulations on survivng," I shook his hand.
"Thank you, I try," he rolled his eyes.
"So you plan on staying here tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah, don't want to get killed," he smirked.
"Okie dokie. Won't your parents worry?" I snickered
"I live alone."
"Oh. Well I'll show you to your room then," I got up, but he pulled me down into him.
"No, I want to sleep with you," he buried his head into my hair. "You smell good."
"O-okay. And u-uh thanks?" I stuttered. I'm pretty sure my face was beat red now. My heart started to pound.
"Thank you, Marni," Adrian hugged me tighter.
"Y-you're w-welcome," dammit! I need to stop stuttering.
My eyes widened in shock. Was I falling for Adri? I did seem to get nervous around him, and my heart would start to pound. Yup, I was definitely falling for him. I was snapped out of my thoughts when Adrian picked me up.
"What the hell? Put me down!" I tried to get down.
"Nope, sleepy time," he teased.
He put my down on my bed and crawled in next to me. He pulled me towards in and turned off my lamp. He kissed my forehead.
"Night, Marns," he whispered.
"Night, Adri," I yawned and snuggled into him.
I awoke the next morning to a pair of blue eyes staring at me.
"Morning, sleeping beauty," he smiled.
"Morning," I yawned.
I looked over and saw that Adrian was still staring at me. Did I have something on my face? I started to feel around my face to make sure.
"There's nothing on your face, Marns," he chuckled
"Then why are you staring?" I asked him.
"Because."
"Because?"
"Do I need a reason to stare?" he smirked.
"Uh, at my face yeah."
"Well I tend to stare at pretty faces," his smirk turned into a smile.
"P-pretty?" I choked out.
"Yes, you're pretty Marni. Beautiful, even," he nodded.
"Uh, thanks," I felt a blush form on my face.
"MARNI!" the door slammed open. "Oops," Matt smirked at us.
"M-Matt!" I squealed and jumped out of bed.
"Looks like someone had a sleepover," his smirk grew wider.
"S-shut u-up!" I pointed my finger at him.
"Damn, dude. No one has ever got Marni this worked up," Matt shook his head.
"It's an honor," Adri stood up.
Matt stepped closer to Adri. "You do anything to her, I snap your neck off," he warned.
"Yes sir!" Adri saluted.
"Does everyone salute you now?" I laughed at Matt.
"Nope. Only Justin and Adrian," he said and walked out.
It was only Adri and I now, and I planned on getting out before I embarrassed myself even more.
"Well, I'm gonna go get ready now," I ran into my bathroom and shut the door.
After being in the bathroom for half an hour, I came out to find Adrian gone.
"Where's Adri?" I asked Matt.
"He said he needed to go somewhere," he shrugged.
"Well then. He didn't even say bye," I pouted.
"Why, miss him?" he snickered.
I turned away before Matt could see my blush forming. I guess I spent half an hour trying to look presentable for Adri for nothing. Oh well, at least I look decent for today.
"I'M BORED!" I yelled for the 50th time today.
It was now around 4 PM and I've done nothing all day. Matt and Justin were being butt munchers and said they were too busy. All they've been doing was hide in their rooms. I tried entertaining myself, but nothing worked. I decided to surf the internet and find some interesting stuff.
It was now dinner time. Matt and Justin were still locked in their rooms. They must be having fun up there. I rolled my eyes and made myself a sandwhich. I was about to take a bite when someone rang the doorbell. I stuck the sandwhich in my mouth and opened the door. It was Adrian.
"Well aren't you looking good," he smirked.
I opened my mouth and dropped my sandwhich onto my plate.
"Uh, hey," I blinked.
"Can you come with me somewhere?"
"And abondon my sandwhich?" I said pretending to be surprised.
"Yes," he nodded.
"Fine. Justin! Matt! Don't go near my sandwhich!" I yelled and shut the door behind me.
Adrian and I walked to the park that was near my house. I sat on one of the swings and Adrian sat on the one next to me. Both of us sat there in silence. Suddenly, the sky lit up.
"Look!" I pointed "Shooting stars!"
"Yeah," he looked up at the sky.
"Make a wish! Hurry!" I exclaimed excitedly.
I closed my eyes. I didn't really make a wish, everything was perfect the way it was. I cracked my eye open a little and saw Adrian had his eyes closed. I chuckled lightly. He opened his eyes.
"What?" he looked at me curiously.
"Nothing," I looked away. "What did you wish for?"
"If I tell you, it won't come true," he grinned.
"Fine," I pouted.
"We can find out if it did though," he suggested.
"How?" I looked at him curiously.
He stood up, and pulled me up with him. He looked at me with caring eyes.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Marni?"

How many of you thought that was Liam at the end of last chapter? I honestly did too, so I pretty much surprised myself!
