Next morning (the day of wedding)
Preparations were being made for the haldi ceremony,
Ladkon ki haldi was at Fab5 house, and ladkiyon ki at Deepu's place.
First they were going to finish the boys' and then to Deepu's place.
"Subah 6 baje ko mein zindagi mein last time kab uthaa mujhe yaad bhi nai hain" Cabir was cribbing.
They all took a shower and got ready in similar yellow kurtas and white pajamas, (Boys outfit)
except for Abhi and Arya. And same was with the girls, Deepu and Mukti are going to wear yellow lehengas,
and Nandu, Alya and Navya were going to wear similar yellow chudidars
"Mein bhi" Dhruv said rubbing his eyes.
The girls were busy arranging things, while boys doing nothing were cribbing.
"Cabir mein theen din se roz subah 6 baje uth ri hoon, and did you hear me complaining atleast once?" Navya asked,
"Tum maathe ho! Hum insaan hain! Dhonon mein na, zameen aasmaan ka fark hain" Cabir said.
"Yeh one liners ki toh koi kamee nai hain, inke liye koi time nai hotha?" she asked, and he was flashing his teeth sheepishly.
"Ab yaha pe aao, and help me move these to the lawn" she said and he had to go.
Dhruv and Manik were laughing at him.
"Tum logon ko badi hasee aa rahi hain? Manik tum mere saath chalo, aur Dhruv Nandini kitchen mein hain, she is setting up the juice and breakfast, uski help kardho" Navya ordered,
"Dhruv exchange palces" Manik said and was walking toward the kitchen.
"MAnik tum ne sunaa nai? Chalo mere saath. Mujhe achhe se patha hain, tum kitchen mein jaaoge, toh shaam ko shaadi ke time aayenge juice aur breakfast baahar. Isliye tum mere saath chaloge Cabir ki help karne. Aur Dhruv tum, get going" she said.
"Monster" Manik mumbled and followed Cabir and her, and Dhruv went to the kitchen.
sh e explained them everything, where to put what and how to arrange everything and went ahead to do something else.
"Cabir! Tujhe yaadh hain mom bolthi thi, ki Navya iss ghar ki badi bahoo jaisi hain, yaar is ne toh yeh baath bohoth seriously le li. Kisi ne mujhe ithna order nai kiya ab tak" Manik said.
"I agree!" Cabir said sadly.
"I pity you bhai! I really pity you!" Manik said patting his back.
"Tu kya! I pity myself! Khud pe taras aathi hain" Cabir said wiping fake tears.
They did all what she said, and reported to her.
"Navya ho gaya! Ab jaaye?" Manik asked.
"Itthi jaldhi? Woh mats dhekh rahe ho waha? Put them in the car, deepu ke ghar le ke jaana hain, aur wohh jo uss side ki red mats hain, spread 5 of them here. Abhi ki mom batha rahi thi ki almost 30 ladies tak aayenge unke saath" she said.
"Yaar yeh child labor hain" Cabir said sitting where he was.
"Cabirrrr" she said seriously.
"I hate you" he said getting up and left with Manik.
She was laughing at them, seeing them struggle so much.
They were almost done with all the preparations and finally got some time to sit.
"9:30 ho gaya aur dhekho kisi ne poocha ki hum ne breakfast kiya ya coffee tak piya? Nai! Girls friend bhi nai wife bhi nai" Manik said. They were sitting under one of the canopies that they laid in the lawn for the function.
Cabir was about to say something when they felt a pat on their shoulder.
Navya was there holding a plate of food and a servant behind her with two mugs of coffee.
"Hato" she said sitting between them.
"Tum donon ki favorite alu paratha, dahi aur achaar ke saath. Just the way you like" she said and started feeding them both.
"Sorry" Manik said holding her hand while she was feeding him.
"Kyun?" she asked, and let him eat.
"Hum ne gussa kiya, irritate kiya na tumhe isliye" he said.
"Par wohh sab toh mujhe acha lagtha hain" she said and now it was Cabir's turn.
"Khilaao" he said opening his mouth.
"Aur kuch kaam hain? We are ready to do" Cabir said.
"Arre waah! Paraatha ki ek piece ne ithna magic kar dhiya?" she asked, continuing to feed them alternatively.
"Wahaa rakh ke jaaiye" she said to the servant.
"Suno, tum log kaam karthe karthe shaayad yeh bhool gaye ho ki yeh tum donon ki pyaari si behen ki shaadi hain. Manik mujhe patha hain tum bimaar ho, par ek baat boloon, even though you are sick, baad mein tum zaroor regret karoge ki you couldn't do anything for your sister's wedding because you were sick. Aur mujhe yeh bhi patha hain, ki tum mujhe bologe when you really cant work, isliye meine Cabir ke saath tumhe bhi kaam pe lagaa dhiya. Aur haan, ek aur baath bhi patha hain, because you are sick, Cabir tumse zyaadha kaam nai karwaayega. Is that right?" she asked Manik.
"Yes! Sab kuch isi ne kiya" Manik agreed.
"Dhekha? This way, you are a part of everything, and you are not tired too. I know my Cabir very well" she said feeding Cabir.
"Navya we love you" they both said crushing her in their hug.
"Acha acha, ab yeh finish karo, and then aap logon ka koi kaam nai, bas enjoy" she said.
And they finished the whole food, and the coffee.
"Tum ne khaaya?" Manik asked.
"Nai, abhi khaaloongi, sirf tum responsible boy friends nai ho, hum bhi responsible girl friends hai, aur hamaare liye bhi aap first priority ho" she said.
That made Manik smile, he thought Nandini might have told her this.
"par breakfast toh tum laayi ho, Alya and nandini ne toh kuch poocha hi nai, i am sure, nandini bhi dhruv se bohoth kaam karwa rahi hogi" Manik said.
"Yeh paraathe nandu ne hi banaaye, aur yeh coffee alya ne" she said, and then they knew how wrong they were!
"Alya bhi Dhurv ke paas gayi breakfast le ke. Iss sab ki chakkar nandu ready nai hui, isliye mujhe dho bachhon ko khilaana padaa, child labor jo karwaa wahi hoon" she said winking to Cabir.
"Manik aankhein band kar, aur turn that side" Cabir said to Manik.
"Khullam khulla romance, chee chee chee" he said in Manik Malhotra style, and turned to the other side, and cabir gave a love pappi to Navya, and got one back.

Slowly people started coming, Abhi and his family received special welcome.
"Arya tu yahaa pe reh ke yeh special formalities miss kar raha hain yaar, ek kaam kar tu bhi gate ke baahar jaa aunty ke saath aur waapas aa, phir tera bhi aisa hi welcome karenge" Dhruv said.
"Such a bad one Dhruv!" Arya said.
Abhi and Arya were given special seating arrangements, under a beautifully decorated canopy.
"Thank me and Manik you both, hum ne arrange kiya yeh sab kuch" Cabir flaunted.
Alya and nandini were guiding all the ladies to the small mandap, while Navya was there helping them. The boys...they were just ready for the event to begin, for them it's more of holi than haldi.
They were waiting for the moment.
"Koi nautanki nai tum log. Mujhe patha hain tum logon ke dimaag mein kya chal raha hoga, par let me tell you, koi bhi nautanki nai" navya walked to the three musketeers and warned them.
"No way! Hum toh masti karne hi waale hain and you cannot stop us" Manik confirmed.
"Atleast limit mein" she compramised.
"Dhekhthe hai" Cabir said. Hopeless! She thought.
Nandini and Alya were also going to join them, when they were stopped by a girl's voice.
They turned around and saw two beautiful girls, Alya recognized them immediately.
"Meera! Meghna! What a pleasant surprise girls" Alya said looking at them. They were the two friends of Mukti. The other two girls of 3M.
"Alya! How are you?" Meghna said hugging her.
Nandini was the loner now.
"Guys this is Nandini, Manik's wife. Nandini, yeh Meghna aur Meera hain, Mukti's best friends" Alya introduced them.
"Hi nandini! I mean bhabhi" Megha said.
"Nandini is fine" Nandini replied.
"Acha you guys come along. I will take you both to Mukti, abhi filhaal ladkon ki haldi chal ri hain" Alya said. Nandini went to join the ceremony, and Alya walked Meghna and Meera to Mukti's room.
"You are here finally! I missed you so much since morning" Manik said side hugging her.
"I missed you too! Aur haan tum ne medicine liya hain na breakfast ke baad?" she asked taking somehting out from his kurta pocket.
"Haan liya, lekin nandini tum yeh public mein kya kar rahi ho" he asked naughtily, looking all sides.
"Dont get any ideas Mr. One track mind, ise nikaal rahi thi" she said taking out the thermometer.
"Yeh subah se meri pocket mein thi?" he was surprised.
"Yes! Mere dress pe toh pocket nai hain, and i have to check your temperature toh thermometer toh chahiye na" she said. "Open your mouth" she said and he was a little embarassed as there were peole around.
"Nandini, side mein chalthe haina, dhekho sab hain yaha" he said.
"It's okay, jaldhi karo" she said and he opened his mouth and he put the thermometer in.
"Dhekh yeh donon waapas shuru ho Gaye koochiikooo" Cabir said.
"Kaash mujhe bhi fever aa jatha, fan Alya mujhe chodthi hi nai, ab dhekho, kaise maze kar ri hain wahaa un aunties ke saath" Dhruv complained.
"100.5, abhi tak normal nai hua, tum yahee ruko i'll go get the medicine" she was about to go, when he took out the medicine from the other pocket.
"It's right here" he said.
She hand him a water bottle that was there, and he had the medicine.
"Bas ek din aur, aur phir you'll be okay" she said kissing his hand.
He smiled.
The ladies were applying haldi to both the grooms one after the other, and slowly they were all covered with loads of haldi on face, hands, chest as they were shirtless and feet.
"Ek toh shirtless bithaa diya ithne saare auntiyon ke saamne, aur dhekho kar kya rahe hain, yaar mujhe ticklish feel ho raha hain" Arya told Abhi.
"You think i am feeling any better? Abhi wohh line dhekha, there are 20 aunties more, and then look at the gang, kaise ready thayyaar khade hain, to attack. Kuch karke humein bhaagna hoga" Abhi said.
"You really think you can?" Arya asked.
"Abey kya khusur pusur kar rahe ho tum donon, karne do na inhe inkaa kaam" Cabir said.
"Tu baith yahaa tujhe patha chalega! My dear lovely ladies, already ithni haldi lag chuki hain, aap ko lagth ahain aap ko aur lagaana hain?" Abhi asked and that made everyone laugh.
"Abhi! Arya ab tum donon ithni cute lag rahe ho, toh hamein toh karna hi padega" one of the aunties said and it continued.
Last was Navya, nandini and Alya's turn.
Nandini applied a whole lot on Arya's cheeks and nose, and he did the same.
Alya first applied to Abhi and then to Aryaman.
Navya then gave them a group hug, "Glow bright! Ladkiyon se zyaada" she said and applied haldi on their faces.
And it was done, that's what everyone thought,
"Okay guys lets go" Arya said and was about to get up.
"Aaahh aah! kahaa kaha? Ihtni bhi kya jaldhi hain" Cabir said and walked toward them.
"Ladies, please excuse me" he said and the ladies who were sitting in the same canopy moved out.
"Hamaari turn khatham nai hui ab tak" he said, and took some haldi and applied their cheeks.
They were happy for a second, but then the next second there was a water splash on them, with two full buckets.
"Cabiiiirrr" they both screamed, and saw that Manik was ready with a pipe and dhruv with lots of color in his hand.
"Guys no! Yeh ek traditional function, no making it dirty" Abhi said.
But before giving him time, they had to experience the water splash from the pipe, with heavy force.
They both started running around in the lawn, and everyone there were left in spilts of laughter.
"Inkaa kuch nai ho saktha" Navya said, standing with Alya and nandini. Little did she know, they were involved in this too.
"You are next" Alya said and moved aside and woooshhhh, the next water splash was on Navya.
"Aaarggg!" Navya was mad.
She took the haldi that was in the plate and covered Alya's face completely with it.
Nandini who was running from there, couldn't escape too. Cabir caught her, and Manik's next target was her.
Dhruv dumped the entire yellow color plate on her, and now she was fully covered in yellow.
Mukti was enjoying all this from the balcony, with her friends.
"Look at Bhabhi" she said laughing.
It didnt take them two long to become the three butterflies again. Meghna and Meera, brought some pictures they clicked together, shared all their stories, and they got along real quick.
Mukti was extremely happy to have them both.
The entire water splash finally came to an end, after Arya's mom reminded them, that the girls haldi is still not done, and that they have to go to Deepu's place for that.
Girls were now angry as they have to take a shower, clean up, change and then leave and didnt have enough time to do all that.
"You guys started it by yourself, if you remember, hum ne aap logon ko touch bhi nai kiya" Dhruv said when Navya was scolding them for all the mess.
"Acha forget that now, chalo lets go and change real quick" Nandini said, and they all went to their rooms, after saying a final bye to the ladies and left them for boys to take care.
Mukti was also ready, in her yellow lehenga.
After they all got ready, they left for Deepu's place, with the haldi and gifts for them. Wearing a very similar lehenga deepu was looking equally beautiful.
They were very well welcomed by Deepu's family.
The ceremony soon started, and both the beautiful brides were made seated.
Deepu's mom started the ceremony, followed by Arya's mom and then the other ladies.
Nandini, navya and Alya narrated the entire holi/haldi event details to Deepu and Mukti.
"Oh my god! Wahee mein sochoo, hamaari haldi pe aap logon ko yellow color kaha se lagi" Deepu said.
Unlike the one at boys' event, this was traditional, simple and normal.
After the ceremony, they all came back to fab5 house.
By the time they came home, they found the boys were asleep, in Manik's room.
So, they all gathered in Navya's room, and started their chitchats.
"Few more hours Mukti, and you are going to become Mrs. Abhimanyu" Nandini said.
"I know bhabhi and i am scared now. I am not sure if i can be a good daughter-in-law. Mujhe un logon kebaare mein kuch pata nai, other than what Abhi told me about us, mujhe kuch nai pata, aur uski mom, patha nai mein unke saath adjust kar paoongi bhi nai" she was worried.
"Arre Mukti, it'll be fine, yeh sab tension normal hain, and i am sure, tum Abhi ki mom saath bohoth achhe se adjust ho jaaogi, and i think she's a very nice woman too, tum zyaada mat socho" Nandini gave her some hope.
"Yeh parlor waali kab aayegi Alya?" Navya asked.
"2 o' clock, first mein ready ho jaungi, then nandini, then navya tum aur last mein Mukti" she said.
"Okay! Ladkon ka kya karein? Sone de?" Alya asked.
"Haan please, nai toh ithna sathaayenge" Navya said.
"Acha hum sathaane waale hain?" Cabir asked.
All of them were standing at the door.
"Mazaak kar ri thi baba" Navya said.
"Tum log uth gaye?" Nandini asked,
"Nai hum toh kamre mein so rahe hain, aur yeh hamara bhoot hain" Manik said.
"Manik bhoot subah ko nai aathe haiin, raat ko aathe hain, mujhe patha hain" she said and that made everyone laugh.
"Aur aisa kyu nandini?" Dhruv asked.
"Kyun ki subah lights hothe haina, aur wohh apni shakal dhekh ke khud darr jathe hain isliye" she explained.
"Wahh" manik said and they all clapped.
"Now you get it Cabir why i say she's a kid?" Manik asked.
"Yes! Totally" Cabir replied.
"Tum log masti kar rahe ho mere saath?" she asked.
"Nai dumbo! Hum taareef kar rahe the" Manik said sitting next to her.
And next thing she did was checked if his forehead was still warm.
"Abhi temperature check karke aa raha hoon, 100.2" he said.
"Good! Pehli baar mere pooche bina" she praised him.
"Toh Arya, Mukti honeymoon ka kuch socha?" Cabir asked.
"Bahamas!" Mukti said.
"Hawaai" Arya said.
"Wow! Yaha toh poori planning ho gayi" Cabir said.
"Saari bookings bhi ho gayi" Arya said.
"Hamaare nai hue, dates confirmed nai hain, bas place hain" Mukti said.
"Nandini tum ne mehendi kab lagaayi, i didnt notice till now" Navya said looking ather hands.
"Ahem ahem! Kal raath Manik aur Nandini ki mehndi date hui thi, courtesy Alya" Alya said.
"Mehndi date? Matlab?" Navya asked.
"Hospital se aane ke baad, Manik ne mujhse nandini ki kal ki outfit aur mehndi maangi thi, and he aksed me to set up a small arrangement on the terrace, aur uske baad kya hua, i dont know wohh yeh khud bathaayenge" ALya said.
"That sounds super romantic" Mukti said.
"He's after all the king of romance" Dhruv said patting Manik's back.
Nandini told them, how he surprised her by applying mehndi by himself, though he was sick, and he showed them the pictures he clicked for her.
They were all super impressed by this move of Manik.
"Manik you better start love school or college" Cabir said.
"Haan wahi plan hain" Manik said,
They spent the rest of the afternoon, together, forgetting all the worries and had to end the discussion when the beautician arrived.
"Good luck with your make over girls! We will be waiting to see you all!" Manik said and the boys left the room, and girls got ready to get dolled up!
