This is seriously very annoying that some of the readers are not able to see the full update. I am very sorry for this wattpad fault. I replublished it, asked all of you to delete but still its of no use so I have again copy paste the chapter and published it.

The day passed as quick as sand slips from your hand. Manik was stuck with his office work and Mia got a great company with Shubh. They didn't name it friendship yet but She was comfortable with him and moreover trust him to a little extend because he was sent by Manik. Manik always chose best for her, she knew it.
But still the night was left. Mia stepped out of the house at midnight and released a breath.
"Just this night and then no lies. I am sorry bhai and di. Never I imagined to do this but I have to. Its for your good. For our good." She assured herself.
"So everything's prepared?" Nandini's voice startled her.
"Di? Aap soye ni?" Mia asked.
"A little nervous for tomorrow. I never proposed and that too for marriage." Mia chuckled at her.
"Well, his reaction will be worth watching. I am excited for his answer. What do you think about his answer?" Mia asked.
"Come lets take a walk." Nandini said and both of them started their troll around the garden.
"About his answer." Nandini started.
"I am not sure if he will say yes or no. I mean I loves me but marriage? I dont know."
"He loves you di. Its your nervousness talking. He will get mad when you propose him. Seriously, I can imagine that big smile on his face. He is waiting for your consent otherwise if it was in his hand he would have married you long back." Mia stated excited. She giggled as if imagining what she said.
"You know your bhai so well." Nandini said in a low voice.
"Definetely, he is all what I have in my life. The one person I have spent my days with is him. But what comes above all this he loves you. He really loves you di please do not leave him. The one problem he has is his anger. Sometimes he really gets overboared with it. I know you're the perfect choice for him. I am happy for that cause you are the only person who knows how to tackle his unnecessary anger." Mia said in a long breath and Nandini listened patiently.
"What he most he craves for is love. Mom I mean Neyonika was never there to give him that and dad was mostly busy with business, I don't blame him though he did that to overcome his past and secure our future. And what bhai was left with was me. A small girl whom he could call his sister. But I want him to happy also and the happiness he gets when he is with you cannot be defined in words. Lucky him, he got you." Mia said.
"And lucky him, you got you Mia." Nandini stated.
"How? I am nothing but just a....just a..." she was unable to complete the word.
"A boon to his life." Completed Nandini.
"Have you ever seen his face when he sees you after coming back home from work? His eyes wander to see you. I agree I am an important part of his life but you Mia are and will always remain his belonging. You belon to him and he belongs to you. I don't whats going on there in that little head but what I want to say is Mia, do not ever undersetimate your position in Manik's life. What you hold in his life is what he can never afford to lose." Said Nandini and left her there before patting her head.
A lone tear escaped Mia's eyes and from Manik's eyes who standing behind them and had heard their conversation.
"I love you bhai and I am sorry." She said wiping it off and striding in.
The night passed with lots of emotions pooling from every heart. Nandini was scared and excited for tomorrow. She was going to take a big step and after that her life was going to change forever. She was happy on one side that she will get Manik as her life partner and she'll be able to share her life with him. But also on the other side she was worried about Mia. Her intutions were warning her of something big going to happen tomorroe.
She layed down and closed her eyes. A hand snaked on her waist.
"Can I please hold you tight?" Manik said.
"Sure. Hold me tight. And please don't cry, my monster looks good with a anger on his face not tears." She said.
"I know right. But what to do? That sister of mine is hell bent in giving me tears."
Nandini chuckled.
"She has all the right Mr. Malhotra. Now sleep. Good night."
And they slept for a new morning. An unknown morning with lots and lots of revelation.
"Happy birthday." A sweet voice in his ears woke him up this morning.
He smiled and pulled her on him but didn't open his eyes.
"Happy birthday Manik." She again wished kissing his cheeks.
He still didn't open his eyes.
"Happy birthday Manik" she pecked his lips and he opened his eyes.
"Thank you love. Thanks for the best morning." She smiled and hugged him. He tightened the grip around her and kissed her cheeks.
"So what do you want Mr. Malhotra?" She asked.
"I have everything I asked for Jaan." He said. She smiled hugging him more tightly.
Mia rolled the letter she wrote this morning. She attached a small gift with it and kept it safe for today's evening.
Mia stepped out of her room. This was the first time when she didn't wished him the first in the morning. Forget the first one, she was the last one to wish him today. Everyone was present in the hall. Fab 5, Nandini, Navya and Abhi. Even Shubh had wished him but she couldn't gather the courage to face him. Stepping down the stairs as she was called for breakfast she saw Manik sitting playing with his food.

Manik got ready with a smile thinking about the day coming forth. His family was with him, his jaan was with him. He couldn't ask for anything more. And Mia, it was his birthday and no matter what their equation was but she wouldn't let anybody wish him before anyone. Nandini was one exception and that Mia also knew but other than her she won't let anyone wish him. Finally,after two long days she will come to him and talk. He grinned and got down. Everyine was already present but Mia wasn't.
He scanned the hall room, everyone had smiled on their faces. Even the butlurs were standing with flowers.
A little dissapointment washed his face but he chucked it. May be she was planning something for him and will come with a band. She was Mia after all.
"Happy birthday Manik!!" Everyone wished him in unison and presented him with gifts.
"You'll get your gift today evening young man. Wait till then, I am sure you'll love it." Dadi said hugging him. He smiled.
A lot of phone calls he recieved, numerous people wished him, many business elites, stars, proffessionals, and his Social media accounts were stocked with wishes from his fans. He was continuously recieving gifts and wishing but he couldn't get was that one wish. He kept on looking up towards her room but no trace of her.

Nandini wiped the tears coming out while seeing him but she couldn't do anything. She tried making him happy but that smile, his signature one was missing. She sighed and was about to go and bring Mia down, Mia got down.
A hand came infront if Manik as he was staring at his food.
"Happy birthday bhai." A simple plain voice got his attention. He looked up and their she was. She stood their with a blank expression, a little smudged kajal, and no sparkle in her eyes.
It hurt. It hurt a lot. He looked at the hand she offered for handshake.
"Thank you." He shook hands with her. And she again went upstairs.
"Mia breakfast." Nandini called.
"I am not hungry." She replied and went to her room.
"I am going to studio. Cabir? You all coming?" Manik said standing.
"Yeah buddy."
"Tum log jao. I will come in an hour." Manik stated and went out. Nandini too followed him.
"We are doing very wrong. This is so wrong. I cannot see my kids like this." Dadi said sitting on the chair.
Nobody said anything. Their heads were hung down but nothing coming out of their mouth.
Till the evening, the mansion was filled with little fairy lights and rustic decor. It was a small get together among friends and family. A small rosemary inspired dinner table was set up with simple dinner menu.

The party started with almost a happy note. All day Mia kept herself shut inside her room while Manik was busy with his work. Being a singing sensation was also a work and for his fans he was needed at various places and thus the whole day was passed with them.
Mia entered the back lawn and saw her bhai standing being the center of attraction with the love of is life. She smiled seeing him happy. A roll and a gift was clutched in her hand.
"Wish me luck Mia." Nandini said coming to her.
Mia smiled and hugged her.
"Good luck di. You will do great." Nandini smiled and went off.
The lights went off and spot light was dropped on Manik. He adjusted his vision and saw Nandini sitting on a stool and a mike on her hand. A spot light was dropped on her too.
"Manik Malhotra, I met you the day when I started a new phase of my life. I didn't that one day you will be responsible for my whole new life. You were...I....shit. Trust me I prepared, I made a long list of thank yous, sorrys, I love yous and other things. But mujhse ni ho payega." She stood up. Took the ring in her hand while Manik looked at her with weird expressions no believing whats happening. She walked upto him and kneeled down.
"Nandini wh-"
"Shush...Don't say anything. I don't know when will you do this, I kniw you have your reasons for it but mai ni ruk sakti. You have spoilt me ab tum hi jhelo. Mr. Manik Malhotra, Will you please please please marry me?"
He blinked twice and pinched himself.
"Nandini..."
"Will you marry Manik? Yes or no?" She said.
"Of course a big YES buddhu. Tumse yes nahi kahunga to kisse kahunga?" She slid the platinium band in his ring finger and he swirled her around.
The crowd clapped a d hooted for the couole and a cake was presented.

Manik held Nandini's hand and cut the cake. She with teary eyes made him eat the piece. He smiled and kissed his cheeks.
"Thank you for the best gift jaan. You don't know what have you given me. Thank you for the best birthday." He confessed.
"Its my special day too Manik. I love you."
"I love you more." He kissed her hair and hugged her.
Everyone came to congratulate them. Manik couldn't be less happy. Finally, his jaan was his. He can proudly tell this world about his fiancee. And soon they were get together officially. His paradise was infront of him and he was thankful to his stars for this fateful day.
Mia smiled idiotically looking at them. They were happy and thats all she wanted. She saw the paper in her hand and calmed herself down.
"Lets go dadi. We need this end soon." Said Mia approaching dadi. Dadi looked at her but she smiled and nodded.
Taking a deep breath dadi came to Manik.
"I promised to give you your gift here. So here it goes." She handed a bunch of keys and papers in his hand.
He looked at her doubtfully and then glanced at the things she handed. He read the papers and shock wasn't a word defining his state.
"A new mansion? For me and Nandini?" He asked. This got Nandini's attention too.
"I know I know you're surprized. But we all want both of you to spend your entire life together and this house, for both you and Nandu." Dadi said.
"Surprize? This is not a surprize dadi. This cannot be a surprize. Surprizes are meant to bring unexpected happiness but this is surely not something I could be happy about." Manik said.
"But Manik isn't it happiness. You and Nandini together in this house. Entirely yours. And moreover Nandu ke baare me soch. She is a girl and she needs space. This will be a paradise for both of you." Dadi explained.
"My paradise is with all of you dadi." Nandini said.
"Hey Manik." Cabir expclaimed.
"So how was the gift buddy? Ab tu aur Nandini aram se rehna." Fab 3 smiled at him.
Manik scrunched his nose. He looked at all of them. They planned this. All of it. Fab 4 and dadi. And Mia. He looked for her and found her standing at a corner lost somewhere. Calculating the incidences of past few days,Mia's sudden change, change in their relationship, Mia behaving absurdly, hiding something from him. He gritted his teeth and glared at all of them.
He took long strides towards the stage. Taking the mike in his hand he announced.
"Good evening everyone. Me and my family are very glad that you came and glorified this evening. Thank you very much for this evening. I am blessed to have you all present here.
But due to some personel reasons, I am very sorry but the party is over guys." He dropped the mike on the floor and went in. His eyes showed only anger. Nandini followed him in.
Dadi and the rest too followed them.
"Shit. I knew he will react like this." Mia muttered and ran in.
"WAIT Manik!! What are you doing?" Cabir stopped him." Aren't you happy? This house, it will be a whole new chapter for you and Nandini. You will be together."
"Are you seriously asking me this Cabir? Seriously? Do you think I'll be happy leaving my family here? Leaving dadi. Leaving Mia. Don't you get it that I don't know how to live without her. I cannot imagine my single day without her. And you all tell me to leave her? Bullshit." He shouted. His anger now overpowered him.
"But Manik, its not that you're leaving the city. Mia can meet you now and then. Not a big deal." Said Mukti
"It is a BIG DEAL!!!" he roared.
"It is a bloody big deal for me. How can you people even think of this ridiculous thing?" He asked.
"Don't be a kid Manik. Think about Nandu. She is a girl. A girl has dreams. Dreams to live with her man. Share her space with her man not stuck in family bondages. Don't be selfish." Alia said.
"This is not a bondage Alia. This is family. Family is meant to be together. It is beautiful not bondage. Not my boundaries but my happiness. Manik is not being selfish. I am sorry but you all are being stupid." Cried Nandini. She couldn't believe whats going on.
"Its final." Announced Manik.
"We are not going anywhere. I am not accepting this gift. It disgusts me now."
"Okay then. If you dont wanna go." Exclaimed Dadi.
"Me and Mia are going for U.S. today itself. I have made all the arrangements. Pack your bags Mia."
Everyone gasped at this. Nobody planned this. This wasn't suppose to happen.
"No no no....Mia don't you dare go." Manik panicked. He held Mia's hand firmly. "You are not going anywhere. I won't let you. I cannot let that happen. Why dadi? Why do you want me to leave you? Why do you want to get away?" He asked helplessely.
"Because I don't want Mia to get stuck with your family." Dadi shouted.
"I don't want Neyonika's words to turn out to be the ugliest truth of our lives. Till what day will you take care of her? Till what extend will you go to protect her? I am old and weak Manik. I have to leave someday. But what after that? You will have your family, you and Nandini will build your own castle. Then what about Mia? She will be a loner then. You cannot look after her all your life long. You too have a life. You cannot pamper her like she is a kid, forever. Tell me. Tell me untill when will give all your love to her? Its better you focus on your present and future and leave your past. You should....forget Mia."
Nandini cried listening her. She loved Mia with all her heart. Mia was her first best friend, also just like her first child. She couldn't even think of treating her as an outsider even if she gets her own family.
Mia with no expressions looked at Manik. She was blank. Facing him she held his hand and kept the letter roll on his hand and smiled.
"Bhai. Happy birthday. I am sorry for being a jerk. Forgive me please. Remember, you're and will always be my superhero. One and only. I love you. Goodbye." Her voice choked and before she could spill out her tears she ran.
And Manik, numb. Numb was the reaction he was showing. Sure he did love Nandini. He loved her a lot and could give his life for her. She was his dream and spending his life with her was a dream come true.
But the people around him were forgetting that his life was incomplete without Mia.
Past?Mia? He should forget her now.
He chuckled at his situation and looked around. He was like a game now. Anybody could come and play with him and what he did was nothing. He shook his head and asked himself.
"Am I so bad as a brother? Or these people around me, 'my family' are so blind and fool?"
Now the only thing which could help him take a decision was her letter. He opened and carresed it.
"What I know is I won't let you go."
