Time to time travel!

Two months later:
It's the last day of Nandini's final exams, the last day of the semester, and back in india, wedding preparations of two couples are going on in full form.
At Fab5 house:
Alya
The work i did, the pressure i had these two months...was something i never had in my entire work life. Deepika is a perfectionist. Every outfit i design, has to go to her for approval, and she comes back with such minute changes which are not possible for anyone to notice even if i don't change them. PHir bhi...Alya, the red dots, instead of 4 make them 2, Alya these borders, do not match with these flowers on the lehenga change the color...Alya yeh Alya woh....And Aryaman, he is another antique, completely opposite to Deepika. He approves whatever i design, sometimes not even looking at them. I have to threaten him that i am going to tell Deepika every time, to make him actually look at the outfit and let me know for the changes. Kyun ki, if anything goes wrong toh meri khair nai..
And to just increase my work, Mukti and Abhi are also tying the knot on the same day! Double work, double pressure. I am glad Dhruv aur Cabir ko yeh idea nai aayi, nai toh i would have ran away somewhere. Mukti has reduced my job a lot, kyun ki wohh khud designer hain, she managed all her outfits by herself. I just helped her in choosing right colors for right occasions and not to have the same colors as Deepu and Arya. Mujhe bas Abhi ke outfits ready karnee thi. And he used to come every other day, or whenever i call him. So it wasn't as difficult as working with Deepu and Arya.
The wedding is in ten days and i am still working on the outfits... i don't know what i am going to wear because i am so busy deciding for others.
"Alyaa" there she goes.
"Yes! In my room, aa jao"!
Now there is going to be a ten minute session, yeh change karo wohh change karo.
"Hi Alya baby" she seems happy! Wooaahh..
"Hi Deepu" i said giving her a hug.
"Acha i wanted to talk to you" she said pulling off.
"Anything wrong with the outfit?" i asked.
"Nai, come sit. Listen, i am so sorry, i have been bugging you for the last two months about every single thing. Dil se sorry, wohh kya haina, i was gone crazy, overwhelmed... and that made me go mad. Mein toh bhoool hi gayi ki you have design outfits for all of us, and then Abhi and Mukti's wedding uske liye bhi toh tumhe preparations karnee hain...Perfection ki chakkar mein, tumhe bohoth sathaaya na meine, is liye very sorry aur ab tum jo bhi design karo jo bhi pehenne ko bolo, mein wahee pehnoongi" she said holding my hand. Awww!
"Deepu, it's fine. I can understand, and i know every girl wants her wedding to be perfect and it starts with what she wears and how she looks. I have dealt with really annoying clients, you need not be sorry. Just tell me what you need, and i would be glad to make it the way you like" i said.
"You are a sweetheart. Par aur nai, i am tired, yeh 10 days toh mein bas rest lene waali hoon, tum ithni acchhi outfits ban arahi ho aur agar mein khud achii nai dhikhi toh all your efforts will be wasted na, so from today, no 'Alya yeh Alya wohh'.. Only 'Alya wow!'" she said.
That made me laugh.
"I promise you, you will look the best" i assured her. As i said, never have i ever worked on anyone's outfits this long, i normally design and give it to my assistants to get it done, but now i have been taking care of everything, coordinating with a friend of mine a jewellery designer to coordinate jewelry with outfits.
"I know that! And thankyou so much, Aryaman se bhi coordinate karke tum sab kuch plan kar rahi ho. I know how he is like, he doesnt have time for all this. Jab bhi mein poochthi hoon if he has the outifts he will be like, Deepu i trust Alya and sab acha hi hoga, toh mujhe dhekhne ki zaroorath hi nai hain. Ab mein kya boloon?" she said.
Oh so she already knows about it.
"It's fine, atleast wohh time pe reply toh kartha hain, that's enough for me" i said.
"Chalo, mein tumhe baad mein mitlhi hoon, you carry on with you work" she said and left.
She sure is a sweetheart.

For everyone except me, these two months are hectic.
I escaped from all these wedding chores, as i had a project for which i had to go to Singapore for over a month. Mr. Ahuja wanted us to help him, but because i wasn't there for most of the time, Dhruv ko hi sab kuch karna padaa.
And upar se Mukti and Abhi ki wedding bhi ont he same day, Manik came to India for a week, just to finalize things. But Navya and Dhruv handled pretty much everything. I returned a week back and since then, Navya didn't let me go to office for a single day. Dhruv and I exchanged duties, Dhruv was busy with office and me with the wedding preps.
It took two days to give out wedding cards, we had to change the venue to accommodate more people as it's two weddings now. Everything doubled up, and god knows how we are going to manage so many guests.
Mr. Ahuja wanted a high profile wedding for his daughter, and Mukti being The Manik Malhotra's sister, has grabbed the attention of the paparazzi.
Nandini is going to give her last exam tomorrow, and right after that, all the four are going to travel to India together.
Excited much for the wedding! Time to be the responsible Big Brother!

I am very very very very very very very excited about the wedding, but equally sad about leaving this house, this room, Aryaman and aunty.
From what all i remember, this has been my house and they have been my family. My store, my car, my friends at work...i am going to miss everything and everyone badly!
I know what Aryaman must be going through.
For both of us, honestly, shaadi karne ki khushi se ek doosre se door jaane kaa gham zyaadha hain. He's making himself busy, stopped spending so much time with me like before, and seems sad.
I tried talking to him many times, but he changed the topic. Same is the case with aunty, i never called her mom, but she was nothing less than a mother to me. Letting a stranger live in your place, giving her that motherly love, taking care of me like my own mother....no one could do that better than her.
I stayed at home most of the time these two months spending time with her.
And Abhi, he has become an extremely romantic person in these two months. He visited me twice, sends gifts, calls me every night after work, to talk about how life is going to be after the wedding.
The day he proposed, it was the best day of my life.
The whole day i have been receiving letters, they were not named but i could easily figure out who it was. I didn't see the proposal coming, it was a real surprise for me.
When he visited me a month back, Aryaman, aunty, Abhi and i were sitting in the living room after having dinner. And all of a sudden lie a ture gentleman, he kneeled in front of aunty and Aryaman,
He held aunty's hand, and said, "Aunty I know aap Mukti ko apni beti maanthee ho, and you love her a lot. I have known Mukti for over 6 years, haala ki she doesn't remember the kind of relationship we shared. But aunty, trust me, i loved her all the while. Meri life mein Mukti ke alaawa aur koi ladki nai ho sakthi, i promise you i will take care of her, and treat her well. Toh kya aap Mukti ki shaadi mujhse karne ke liye okay hain?"
I was shocked! All of a sudden... Aryaman was pretty surprised too.
Aunty didn't say anything, she just looked at Aryaman. She always believed Arya had the rights to take decisions for me, more than what she does.
"Abhi we all know how much you both like each other, agar tu aise poochega nai toh bhi teri shaadi mukti ke saath hogi. Hamein tum dhonon ki shaadi hone mein koi problem nai hain, but all this, you have to say to Manik too, Kyun ki Mukti now has her real own family. Right? I think he should be the one to decide" Aryaman said.
I couldnt agree with him.
"I dont agree with you. Mein Manik bhai se bohoth pyaar karthee hoon, and i know he is my real brother jaise tu ne kahaa, par mere liye abhi bhi decision lene kaa right mein tumhe hi dhethi hoon, and i am sure bhai will also say the same thing. Arya, you are my real family too. Just because i have bhai now, it doesn't mean you have to step back in anything that is related to me" i said.
That brought a huge huge huge huge huge smile on his face!
"I love you" he said giving me tight jhappi!
"And i love you too. You were, you are and you will always be my superhero, so don't try to cut off your ties, Manik bhai ke naam leke. Get that?" i asked in a fake serious voice.
"Haay haay madam!" he said.
"And Dr. Abhimanyu! Mere aashirwaad tum donon ke saath hain beta! Jao jee le apni zindagi" he said dramatically giving us aashirwaad.
"Thankyou ji" Abhi said, equally dramatic.
"Mukti aur Arya ki shaadi ek hi din kyun nai kar lethe? Ek beti ko vidha karenge aur ek beti ko ghar laayenge" aunty said.
What an idea!
And that's how, the proposal, and the wedding came to place.
