I sat on the ground, my knees laced with dust as one of the dread doctors swung the knife around, pointing it at every single one of us.
Lydias eyes clutched with fear as it landed on her, but after a second passed. The doctors whistling tone was almost over and everyone had been chosen but me. Theo sat on a chair in the far back of the room, rubbing his face as he nervously looked at me, Corey and Tracy on his right and left. I noticed how Tracey stayed with the same smirk on her face, Corey nervously sharing glances with Mason.
The whistle slowly was coming to a end as it landed on Stiles. Malia's eyes widened until the knife passed him, landing on Liam. I clutched my eyes closed as the last whistle came out, everything became silent until I heard Theo's scream.
I opened my eyes, seeing the knife held right in front of me, I gulped a breath, turning and seeing Lydias tearful eyes before I felt a sharp pain in my head. My vision became blurry but I could still make out Theo's figure trying to run to me as Corey and Tracy held him back. Stiles sobs filled my head as I felt another sharp pain, a liquid dripping down my face at a very fast speed. My vision and hearing were now worse, things sounded farther away and black dots were not taking up most of my vision.
The knife hit my head one more time as I managed to get out the last words I've been wanting to get out. "Just s-survive s-somehow." I muttered as I felt my body hit the ground, my cells feeling as if they were all one by one shutting down...
