Ryan's POV
As soon as we got here I ran inside and quickly we were sent into a room, a doctor came in and some nurses, I was sent outside and stood there watching as they started attaching loads of monitors to her and doing stuff and I just had to turn away
"She'll be okay" Chloe tries to console me but I just shake my head, I feel like I want to punch a wall or something
"I knew it was a stupid idea!" I raise my voice but then realise what I just said
I whip round just in time to see the sadness and hurt in her eyes before she runs away, Peyton runs straight after her, we're not loosing another girl tonight
Eventually the doctor came out
"Is she okay?!" I ask him but he stops and looks me up and down, this happens every time
"I'm her legal guardian so don't even bother" I cut him off before he can ask me something
"We're going to have to keep a very close eye on her, it could be a rough night" he tells me and I try extremely hard not to flashback to the last time they told us that about her
"She's a fighter, she's pulled through much worse" I tell him although I think I'm actually tying to convince myself myself, it was freezing out there, she's had pneumonia before, but the last time we were in a place like this, it didn't happen TO her, she did it to herself
Chloe's POV
"Chloe stop!" I hear Peyton call out to me and I turn around to look at him, we're now outside
"HE BASICALLY SAID HE REGRETS IT! HOW COULD HE DO THAT?!" I scream
"Chloe he's hurting, there's something going on there we don't know about, more than he's told us and he's worried about her, he didn't say he regretted it he just said that it was a bad idea, he may have just meant not locking the door first, honestly Chloe I don't think he genuinely meant anything at all" he tells me, I want to believe him, I want Ryan to have not said that, but he did say it
"I don't care he still said it!" I yell
"It doesn't matter what you think right now we should be in there with Sabrina, she's out friend and she's sick" he tells me and eventually I nod
"It's my fault, I shouldn't have done it, I shouldn't have gone back, and I should've found the spot quicker, we could've found her faster and she'd be okay
"You can't know that so stop beating yourself up and let's get inside, it's freezing out here, why is it so cold? It's summer" he rants as we start heading back inside
