Sabrina's POV

"They're gonna be so pissed" I tell Ryan with a nervous smirk as I look at the time on my phone, it's been 3 hours, we may or may not have gone for a random drive and may or may not have gotten a little lost, it was really fun though

"Nah, they probably didn't even noticed" he says as he rolls his eyes

"Come on bro" I say to him a little sadly

"How about you and I go to the mall tomorrow? Get you're stuff for school and stuff like that" he offers, I smile weakly

"My allowance ran out last week" I remind him

"Dad will give you some money for
school stuff" he says but clearly doesn't believe it

"Maybe" I reply as we'll get out of the car, he gets out his keys and opens up the the door, we head in and try to sneak upstairs but to no avail

"There you two are! Where the hell were you?!" dad yells as he walks out into the hallway, Lauren follows him looking well I don't know but something wasn't right about it

"We were hungry and you guys weren't here and we were hungry so we went out for pizza" Ryan tells him rather forcefully

"We were meant to have a family dinner, Lauren and I have very exciting news!" Dad tells us, I don't like the sound of that

"What's going on?" I asks slightly nervously

"Lauren's pregnant, you're going to have a baby brother or sister!" He tells us excitedly, I look at Lauren's awkward looking face and then down at aged stomach before back at my dad

"What the hell?!" I scream as I run out the house, I don't know where I'm going and I don't care as long as it's not there

Ryan's POV

I almost did a double take when I heard my dad's words, she pregnant?! But I didn't have time for that because after B yelled at him she ran out, I shook my head at him as he watched her in confusion and then ran out after her

"B! B wait!" I yelled after her

"What?!" She screamed as she turned to face me, her tearstained face full of sadness

"Where are you going?" I ask her gently

"I don't know and I don't care just anywhere but there!" She yells as she begins to cry again

"B, it's okay" I soothe

"ITS NOT OKAY!" She screeches back

I step forward and pull her into a hug, she cries into my chest as I rub her back gently

"Why did all this happen?!" She cried into my chest

"I don't know kiddo" I try to calm her down

"I hate this" she mumbles

"Me too but come on it can't be that bad" I try to make her feel better about it, not that it's working

"I don't want to go back there" she tells me as she pulls away a bit

"It's not for long" I tell her

"What?" She asks confusedly

"I'm trying to find my own place, when I do you can come live with me" I tell her excitedly

"Wait what?!" She replies in shock

"I'm 23, it's time I move out and if you're not happy with dad and Lauren then you can come live with me" I tell her with a big smile on my face

"Are you serious?" She asks me, her eyes twinkle at the thought of getting out of there

"Of course baby sis" I tell her gently, she smiles and then crashes into me for another hug

"I promise as soon as I graduate next year I'll get out" she promises me, I just chuckle

"B you leave when you're ready, I don't mind, but for now we've gotta go back" I tell her and the light in her eyes fades

"This new baby is gonna be all he cares about" she murmurs sadly

"I know, but we'll always have each other" I reassure her

"Okay" she agrees

"Let's get back" she says grimly

"It'll be fine" I try to convince her but with little success

"Last time you said that dad gave mom the divorce papers" she reminds me emotionlessly

"It'll all work out the way it's supposed to" I tell her

"I hope so" she replies quietly
