I wake up to a pounding headache. Groaning, I looked around to see Alessandro sitting on a chair with his phone on his hand.
I blush at the thought of what happened when he saved me. I wasn't wearing any clothes besides a bra and underwear.
I continue to look around, realizing that I'm in a hospital
"I see that you're up" I hear Alessandro. I give him half a smile and nod
"Thank you for saving me" I reply as I try to sit up, only to wince at the pain on my stomach. Alessandro quickly rushed to my side, helping me sit up
"Careful. You're still bruised" he lets go of me and sighs as he sits on the chair beside my bed
"Look, the doctor said that you need to rest. You have a lot of bruises around your body" he continued. I then looked at my both of my wrists. I gasped while looking at my right wrist. I can see a mark from someone's hand. I shake my head, trying not to think about what happened.
"O-okay" I mumble and nodded.
"Now tell me, why would someone do this to you? Who is that man?" He crossed his arms and I swallowed a lump on my throat.
"I-I don't know" I say as I let out a shaky breath
"You're a very bad liar Scarlett. Tell me the truth" he furrows his eyebrows
"I don't know who that man was but I do know that someone hired him to do this... to me"
"Who?"
I hesitated before saying, "Melanie Smith"
"Why did she hire that filthy man?"
"Look I don't want to talk about th-"
"Tell me. I'm trying to help you Scarlett"
"Well I didn't ask you to help me Alessandro." I cross my arms and looked away from him
"Fine. If you don't want any of my help then forget it. I'm just trying to make it up for you because if I came early. I would've prevented you from getting hurt." I bite my lip and pointed at the door
"I appreciate your help but please leave."
"You can go back to work after a week" he says before leaving. I sigh and closed my eyes, falling asleep.

I feel someone shaking me gently and I opened my eyes.
"What the" I look at the person and scream
"Wait wait. Alessandro told me to pick you up" the man said and I blush as I stopped screaming
"Oh. My bad"
"I'm Cristofano. You can call me Cris." He smiled and before I know it, he picked me up
"What are you doing?!?"
"Picking you up."
"I can walk!" He set me down and suddenly, my legs felt like jelly. I'm about to fall when he picked me up again
"Yeah. You can walk" he chuckles and starts walking us out of the room
"Wait. Have I been Che-"
"Yes" he cut me off and I nodded. We stopped in front of a van and a guy opened the door.
Fuck he's hot
He grabbed me and placed me inside the van
"Hi I'm Dante. You can call me Dan" he smiled, extending his arms. I shook his hand and smiled back at him
"Scarlett" he sat beside me.
"And I'm Antonio. You can call me... uh Ant? Why does everyone have a nickname. Toni?" He pouts and sat on the seat to my left.
"I'll just call you Antonio" I chuckle and he sighs, nodding. Cris sat on the passenger side and the driver started the car.

"Ow" I rub my head as we entered the house. As you can see, Antonio decided to carry me and he kept on bumping my head on every door we passed. First at the car door, then the gate, and lastly, the entrance door to the house
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry" he gasps and lays me on the couch. Cris just shook his head and grabbed some ice for my head. I took it and placed it on my head
"It's alright Ant" I chuckle and he pouted
"Ant? I mean I said that as an option for you to call me but you don't really have to call me ANT" he crossed his arms and I poked his cheek
"Ant" I shake my head
"I hate you" he mumbles
"Mhmm"
