The next morning Jared arrives in the training yard and waits for Lil D to arrive to teach him how to use an L-3 Nozzlenose properly. He woke up at 6:00 for this
"I can't wait. I can't believe im gonna get taught by Lil D on how to use a Nozzlenose. I cant...stop talking to myself."
"Yo im here."
"Alright you ready for this!"
"I guess so but I should be asking you that. Did you even bring the gun?"
"Uhh...maybe....ill be right back."
As Jared goes back home to get the L-3 Nozzlenose he left. His mom comes through bringing him important news.
"Quick Jared get in." She said as she pulled him in the house
"Geez whats wrong?"
"Didn't you see the news. They had an emergency broadcast saying It's gonna rain for the rest of the day. We have to remain indoors, barricade the walls! Gather various supplies!"
"Wha-what?? Ugh it had to rain now though..."
"I went to the store and stocked up on a lot of food just in case..also because we were running out."
"Thanks for letting me know, mom. Guess i cant learn how to use the Nozzlenose now." Jared said with a disappointed look as his mom reassured him with a hug and said
"Well theres always tomorrow. In the meantime help me seal up some cracks in the walls so any rain doesnt get in."
As they both seal up cracks in the walls with cement, Amethyst and Carter showed up with Sleeping bags. Jared questioned why were they here with that stuff but Amethyst said-
"Isnt it obvious, we're gonna spend the night over here until the rain stops."
"Why?" He mumbled
"I figured a storm is a good time to bond and get to know one another. Besides who doesnt love a party with friends."
"I got dragged into this...."
"Same." Carter and Xavier said as they set their bags down.
"Uhh i hope my mom says its ok."
"We already called her and she said yeah it was...as long as we bring our own food. I brought chips, soda, and tunes. Let's crank this thang up!!!" She put a CD in a stereo and it played Splattack by Squid Squad. The 4 of them dance their hearts out until a few minutes later the door rang. Jared got it but only to be shocked to see it was Gabriel's team
"What are you guys doing here!?"
"We heard the party and wanted to have a FUCKING GOOD TIME!!!!" Dylan yelled as she pulled the guys in with her
"Oh no, uh uh, i do not want four eyes in the same house as me. you guys need to leave now."
"But we dont wanna leave and we're not gonna leave and i say we're staying or ELSE SOMEONE WILL BE TURFING IN A WHEELCHAIR, GOT IT!?" Dylan threatened Jared as he agreed nervously. Chuck, Michael, & Gabriel enter the house with disappointed looks
"We got dragged into this."
"We did too." Chuck and Carter started talking about the female inklings of their teams.
"Ugh fine i guess you all can stay." Jared said with a sigh as Gabriel and Michael walked towards him and started talking
"Well well well if it isnt the insufferable miscreant who's always in my way."
"I hate you so much!"
"Hey everyone! I know what we could do until midnight!" Amethyst started gathering everyone around the living room and suggested they play truth or dare.
"Truth or dare?"
"That sounds fun...right?"
"No it doesn't! I hate that game! Im always picked doing or saying something stupid!" Dylan said as Amethyst reminded her you can dare other people to do dangerous stuff. She immediately changed her mind and wanted to start first
"I choose.......Michael! Truth or Dare? ANSWER OR DIE!!"
"UHHH TRUTH..."
"Alright. Who would you want to splat most in this room."
"..........maybe you."
"Oooooo no he didnt!" Amethyst yelled out of nowhere as the others stared and snickered....then Dylan got up and started chasing Michael around the house with a roller.
"What did i tell you kids! No weapons in the house!" Jared's mom yelled as she slammed the door in her study
"Well i guess its just the 6 of us now. Who's next?"
"ILL GO! JARED, TRUTH OR DARE!" Xavier grinned menacingly
"....since i dont trust you, i pick truth."
"Aw man. Fine whats your favorite color or whatever."
"Cerulean."
"My turn! Ok Carter Truth or Dare?" Amethyst asked
"Truth. Lay it on me."
"Do you have any feelings for someone in this room?" The whole room suddenly got quiet and starred at him with questionable looks.
He remained silent and dodged the question. They immediately proceed to the next person instead.
"ugh fine who's next?" She asked in an unpleasant tone
"Can we do something else??" Jared wondered
"We could play shot the person in the dark." Carter suggested
"That sounds dangerous.. Plus my house isn't that big."
"Thats why we'll take turns fighting each other."
"My mom is gonna kill me if she sees ink on the floor or walls. Just try to hit each other okay?"
"We'll try but this is in the dark. So who wants to fight first?"
"I WANNA FIGHT JARED FIRST!"
"No way i wanted to do battle with Jared."
Xavier & Gabriel continuously argue over who gets to fight Jared but then he chooses to fight Amethyst much to their disappointment
"Ready Amethyst?"
"Just shut up and flick the lights off, this is kinda stupid Carter we might run into walls or trip over furniture or-" before she could finish, Jared shuts off the lights then shots her. He turns them back on and she looks pretty annoyed
"I win."
"That was a dirty move. Ugh whatever who's next?"
"Gabriel & Xavier."
"Alright then, this should be easy."
"I wouldn't be so overzealous if i were in your position, the possibility of one of us winning is 50% each."
"Does he always talk this much."
"Yes now get ready."
Carter flicks off the lights and the 2 blaster users rush at each other
"Ugh i cant see what's happening its too dark."
Lots of fighting noises are heard in the room
"Who do you think is winning?" Chuck asked while Jared says Xavier, Amethyst says Gabriel and Carter just doesn't know.
"I won." Xavier said
"Ugh id like to have a rematch."
Jared then reminded them angrily that the house was now an inky mess. They then spend an hour cleaning up the house, you can hear the rain worsen and the drops hitting the window
"OK all clean. Seeeee wasn't the cleaning game fun?"
"No." Xavier complained "This is stupid can we do something different?"
"Fine what game then?"
"How about spin the bottle?"
"Nah..."
"Uno? A board game? A video game?"
"What kind of video game?" Carter eagerly asked
"We could play Squid Racer."
Everyone agrees to squid racer and plugs up a controller. Xavier and Gabriel keep arguing over the gold one. The 6 of them are ready to race.
"No fair Amethyst you cheated! That was my item!"
"Alls fair in love and SQUID RACER BOI!" The race ends and Carter finishes in first.
"Wow when did you get so good at video games?" Jared asks him
"Ive always been good, splatoon is different though."
"Will you stop chasing me already??" Michael asks Dylan and she doesnt care, because she's tired as well
"What're we doing anyway? Hopefully something not boring." Dylan asks while they answered "a video game? Oh please, no game is better than splatoon."
"How bout we tell scaryyyy storiessss." Amethyst suggested as Michael is really terrified "I promise it wont be that scary."
"Ill go first!" Jared said as he turns the lights off and lights one candle in the room and prepares to tell the story.
"One night, in a house such as this one. An unsuspecting squid couple rent a cottage. While they sleep in their room they hear tapping across the door. They open it and no one was there. They turn around and they see...A GHOST IMAGE IN A HOCKEY MASK! He grabs a chainsaw and slices up the girlfriends organs~"
"Jared."
"Then he uses her blood and writes on the wall. "Get away from my house!"
"Jared!"
"The boyfriend rushes to the police but the ghost stops him and burns the house with him inside!"
"JARED!!!!"
"What Amethyst? Your scared?"
"No. that story wasn't that scary...but it did scare Michael a bit."
"Pfff Michael is a bit of an infant, he will get over it like he always does."
"Thats not a nice thing to say to your bro." Amethyst says but he remains uncaring. Then everyone else begins to argue about various things
"Guys what the heck?? Ugh they must be tired or something..i gotta do something before they wake my parents."
"I just wish this stupid rain would stop already. It cant go on forever."
Everyone now begin to complain about the rain not stopping and are about to get really loud.
"ENOUGH!!! Look ive had it with all this running around! Noisy games! And arguing! EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP FOR 5 MINUTES! Look i know that your all tired and scared of the storm. Look the rain can be a scary thing, we've seen it once in our lives. But this time we're in here together. A time we can get to know one another, play with each other instead of splatting or getting hurt. Doesnt that sound fun?"
Everyone then begins to mumble in agreement and sit down to listen to Jared. Dylan and Michael apologize, same with Xavier, Amethyst and Gabriel
"There see...now isnt it nice to just sit down and relax and~" the rain suddenly stops and everyone leaves quickly except Amethyst and Carter
"...welp guess the rain stopped."
"So my speech was for nothing??"
"Look at it this way......i got nothing...im too tired and its tomorrow already."
"You guys can stay over if ya want."
"While we're here, Jared, mind telling us whats been bugging you since we met?" Amethyst continuously begged Jared to tell them then he finally gives in and will tell ONLY them.
"Well...Xavier calling me a newb did bug me for a reason. It reminded me of my older sister."
"You have a sister? Well how come i never met her." Amethyst said with a pretty mad expression
"Well because..............she died."
"..oh...im so sorry Jared i didn't mean it."
"Its okay don't worry. whenever someone called me a newb it reminds me of her, she used to always tease me about my skills because i kinda sucked back then...but now I've really improved and learning to use the L-3 Nozzlenose so thats cool right?"
"Jared we're friends, you should know you can tell us anything. Besides, we made it this far haven't we?" Carter reminds them as they all have a little group home then head home
"See ya tomorrow, Jared! And good luck on your lessons!"
"Bye guys! Im really glad i met friends like them...now to get some rest."
