"Coincidence"
• Aira's pov •
Buzz....buzz...buzz...
I woke up at the sound of my alarm. The sun shone through my apartment window as I rolled myself out of my comfortable bed.
I lazily walked over to my calender and rubbed my eyes.
"Ah~ It's today", I yawned and looked for my phone at the desk
As promised, I'm going to accompany Jungkook to Busan in order to find his ex-girlfriend. Should I be jealous or something?
Right on time, my phone rang and showed Jungkook as the caller ID.
"I'm awake", I said to him while yawning again as he chuckled
"Wake up sleepyhead, I'm almost there so you better get ready", he laughed
My stupid brain decided to showed an image of Hyungwon after he said that.
"Aira...?", Jungkook asked with a small hint of concern as I snapped back to reality
"Oh yeah, I heard you. Just hang up already and focus on the road, I'm going to shower", I informed him
"Shower? That just makes me want to get there faster", I can imagine Jungkook's pervy face
"Byuntae", I hung up immediately and the word reminded me of Hyungwon.
"Gosh Aira, stop thinking of him", I hit my own head and dragged my body to the bathroom
• Jungkook's pov •
I am now standing in front of her door with breakfast in hand. I pressed on the doorbell for couple of times before she actually opened the door.
"Hey, sorry I just finished shower", her hair was still dripping wet as I stepped inside
I closed the door behind me and proceed to the kitchen
"I brought you breakfast", I raised the plastic bag in the air as she laughed
"Who cooked this?", she happily looked through the food as I chuckled
"Me"
She looked up to me and burst out laughing
"Is there something funny?", I glared at her as she wiped her tears away
"That one was a good joke", she ruffled my hair and opened one of the food box
"I really did cook this... with Jin hyung", a note of amusement can be felt in her smile as she shoved a spoon of salad into her mouth
"This is definitely Jin's cooking and I bet you cut the vegetables", she showed me the uneven chop of vegetables as I cleared my throat in embarrasement.
"It's good though", she fed me some as she walked to her vanity and started to dry her hair
I followed her inside while munching on the salad Jin hyung made.
"Have you pack yet?", I reminded her as she nodded and pointed out at her luggage
I thoroughly checked her belongings but there's one thing missing.
"Where's your passport?", I noticed her face changed as she slapped her forehead
"I forgot where I put it", she pouted and I find it very cute.
I groaned and started to search for the passport. She stopped drying her hair and searched too. I averted my gaze to her study desk and opened the drawers one by one.
"Aha there it is", I said to myself while reaching my hand out into piles of stuff in her messy drawer.
I grabbed the passport but noticed the pile of stuff were actually letters from Hyungwon. I bit my lip and found a white box with silver ribbon.
I was about to open it when Aira snatched the passport away from me and shut the drawer.
"Thanks", she quickly muttered and put the passport in her bag. Then I saw her locked the drawer and I can't help but to be upset.
"You haven't throw them away?", I asked with an obvious disappointment
"Jungkook", her eyes showed a glint of regret as I walked closer to her
"You still love him, don't you?", My voice got deepens as she sighed
"Are we really going to argue right now?", she gritted her teeth as I backed away not wanting to cause commotion
"I'm sorry, okay? Just finish what you're doing, I'll be waiting outside", I walked passed her and close her bedroom door.
"Be patient Jungkook", I tried to calm myself as I leaned against the door.
• Aira's pov •
I packed my bag and drag my luggage with me out of the bedroom. Jungkook was stabbing his food while watching the news.
"I'm ready", I said with a soft voice as he stood up and threw his food into the trash can without sparing me a glance.
I turned off the tv and followed him to the kitchen. I stood in front of him but he tried to walk away from me
"Jungkook, look at me", I held his wrist as he only stood there motionlessly.
"I'm sorry. I should've thrown it away, it's just so hard. I hope you understand", I hugged his mascular body tightly and he finally gave in and hugged me back
"I understand, I was selfish too", he stroked my hair gently before letting go
"Shall we go now?", he grinned widely as he grabbed my luggage and opened the door.
"Leggo!", I cheerfully chanted as he chuckled
"Jeon Jungkook", he turned around and I leaned forward to kiss him. His eyes widen for a sec before closing it.
I have to admit that Jungkook is a really good kisser, but how come I felt nothing but physical? The kiss didn't make my heart all warm and fuzzy.
• Hyungwon's pov •
I was looking through the pictures on my phone, old pictures to be exact. I cringed at myself as to why I still keep our pictures together.
"I miss you", I said under my breath as pictures of her shameless selfies showed up.
What are you doing now, Aira? Are you well? This kind of questions run through my mind everyday.
"Wonnie-ah", I gagged at the voice and I reluctantly looked up
"What the hell are you doing at the airport?", I snickered as she giggled and sat down.
"To follow you of course! I won't let you do the boring meeting alone", she reached out to my coffee cup but I moved it further from her reach.
"I'd rather do the boring meeting alone, at least I don't have to see your face and don't touch my drink", I rolled my eyes as she kept her jolly attitude
"Again with the cold attitude, this is why I like you Wonnie"
"Can't you just go home? You don't even have ticket", I crossed my finger she doesn't have one
But she waved the ticket at me as I groaned loudly
"Whatever, we're sitting separately", I got up from the seat and headed to the boarding area. Yoora called after me but I just ignore her
"Annoying bitch", I cursed under my breath and fasten my pace
I was about to reach the boarding area when suddenly someone bumped onto me.
"OW!", we both said as we both fell as well.
"Yah watch where you're-", I stared widely at the girl who bumped me
"Babe are you okay?", a familiar yet irritating voice was heard as I averted my gaze to her. She was rubbing her forehead in pain as I suddenly grabbed both her arms and helped her stand up.
She was surprised at my action but when she finally had the chance to look at me properly, her face lost all colors.
"H-hyungwon?", I feel my stomach flip when she called my name
"I'm really sorry", she bowed politely and truthfully it hurts to see her being so formal, remembering how close we were.
"Be careful", I removed the dirt from her knees as she lightly pushed my hands away
"Are you hurt?", I asked again as she hid her blushing cheeks.
"Uhm I'm fine", Jungkook held her hand and moved her behind him
"What the hell are you doing here?", I heard Jungkook sassed me as I rolled my eyes
"None of your concern"
"Wonnie-ah are you- Jungkook? What are you doing here?", Yoora's voice got higher in pitch as if she's holding back her happiness to see Jungkook. Then her gaze turned to Aira
"Oh it's you, hey ugly", she hissed as both Jungkook and I glared at her
"Did you not have a mirror?", Aira sarcastically said and proceed to walk passed us
"Serves you right. My Aira is the best", Jungkook proudly stated as I sighed. I should be the one saying that.
"My Aira? Huh look who's trying to make me jealous", Yoora replied as Jungkook rolled his eyes
Jungkook and Yoora are both having an arguement so I used this chance to follow Aira who's walking way ahead.
"Where are you going with that bastard?", I asked out of the blue as Aira jumped out.
"Yah you scared me and language, Chae", she reminded me
"Whatever, answer me", I asked again as she looked over to me. I noticed she's skinnier than before, which concerned me.
"Busan, why?", she shortly replied while avoiding my gaze
"Me too", she stopped her steps and faced me
"You're kidding", she shook her head not believing
"Nope", I wanted to smile so badly but I need to keep my chic image.
"For what occassion?", she curiously asked as I chuckled
Finally, I earned her attention.
"None of your business", I smirked at her as she sighed
"Playing hard to get, huh? I'm not into games anymore", she coldly replied and of course, Jungkook had to approached her right at this moment.
This is not what supposed to happen...
Jungkook deadly glared at me as he circled his arm around her waist. I was left dumbfounded as Yoora snapped me back to reality.
"Yah Wonnie, stop spacing out", Yoora tried to held my hand but I yanked it away
"I told you not to touch me", I fasten my pace to match it with Aira's.
• Aira's pov •
"They're going to Busan", I lowly mumbled but he heard it
"Who?", Jungkook asked while positioning himself on his seat
"Hyungwon and Yoora", I stared endlessly at the window
I don't know why I'm tearing up and why is Hyungwon so handsome? Ugh I hate this.
"Look who's sitting beside us, Wonnie. It must be faith or something", Yoora stated shamelessly but I didn't want to turn around to face them.
What kind of a sick coincidence is this? And Wonnie? What kind of an ugly pet name is that? I want to strangle Yoora for some reasons...
so guys, abt the passport thingy, i dont rly know if u need passport if u want to travel from seoul-busan lol just go along with it okay? and usually people travel to busan by train, not plane.
