Alex POV
The cool breeze of early morning hit my face near the window. It was still dark outside and sound of crickets was prominent in the atmosphere. I took out a pair of binoculars from my cupboard and adjusted it in the direction of Gauri's chamber. The large mirror of her room give a good view of her room. She came out in a white bathrobe and I drowned in the sight in front of me. I felt like someone has stuffed cotton in my mouth because it has get dried as my gaze wandered on her body. I want to taste those soft lips, caress those pink cheeks, feel her damp hair, gaze into her lust filled eyes, leave my mark on every inch of her and want to make her moan when I enter her. I felt that my left hand was involuntarily soothing my manhood and made me moan in pleasure. I crashed on my bed and drifted into darkness.
(Flashback)
"So you have finally became Prince charming" his eyes gleamed with a teasing twinkle.
"Your wife has blurted out our little secret" I smirked at him and he nodded in agreement.
"That's why you are radiating too much" he chuckled and take sip from his glass.
"Yeah, you can say that" I leaned back on my chair and my eyes started searching for my happiness, my beautiful wife Gawri.
"So finally my friend got laid" Adam patted my right shoulder and then shook hands with Rohan. They have developed a rapport after we get rescued. Adam is very grateful to Rohan for saving Tori and me. I have also forgot any remaining bitterness towards Rohan after he saved me and my sister.
"You know Rohan, how much I and Tori has tried to set up this guy to hotties but he is always blinded by the Indian beauty. And you know...." I was listening to Adam's blabbering but my eyes were roaming everywhere in search of my love.
Adam was called by his parents to meet the guests and he started receiving flowers and gifts along with my sister who was looking stunning in her white bridal gown. Her blonde hair was styled in waves and her ocean blue eyes were twinkling like stars everytime she smiles. She was blushing whenever Adam whisper something to her. Although, it was difficult for me to accept my best friend as my brother in law but I was trying my best. Whenever he touched Tori or caressed her or giving her those lusty looks, my grip on my champagne flute tightened. I have even turned in other direction when the minister has announced that he may kiss the bride. I just couldn't see him kissing my sister passionately.
"It is hard to accept your best buddy as your brother in law" Rohan sipped from his flute and gave me an understanding look and I nodded in yes with heavy heart.
"Hey, think about your sister. Look how happy she is with Adam. When you will consider her feelings towards Adam then it will become easy for you to accept him." I looked at the newly wed couple and I realized the depth of Rohan's words.
"Alex, every girl is somebody's sister. Let's take my case, do you think Rahul was very happy when I married Mrinal. You know when he got to know that we are together again then he came to me and beaten me into pulp but I didn't hit him back" I looked at him with an awe expression. The man who rescued me has let his brother in law beat him like shit.
"Don't give me that look, I knew that he was just being protective about Mrinal. She may be her cousin sister but she is everything to him. He has become orphan at a very young age and that's why he is very protective about all the people he cares even you" I was surprised on this information.
"He may not have contacted you but he has always keep a watch on your social networking activities. I got to know about that when we become friends."
"Why he has not contacted me?" Rohan finished his champagne and leaned back on his chair.
"He thought that if he and Mrinal will contact you then it may resurface the memories of Gauri in you and he doesn't want to give you any kind of emotional pain" He looked softly at me.
"Can you tell me what has happened after that car bomb blast" He closed his eyes for few seconds and then take a deep breath.
"When I got to know about the blast, I rushed towards that spot. Police has restricted that area and a crowd was surrounding that place. Only debris of the car was present on the blast site. I thought Mrinal would be there but she or her father was not there. I went to school towards staff quarters but she was also not there. I got to know that Mrinal's grandmother has died that day and she was on her way to her maternal town." Oh that's why she has left early that day and dad has ordered me to drop Gauri to school.
"Gauri's father and brother were in police station that day. Gauri's body couldn't be found in the car's debris so a effigy of her has been cremated. Her father was just acting like a zombie while performing the rituals for the dead. I have visited you after her cremation but you were in coma. I was feeling guilty for both of you because I knew I was responsible for all those things happened to her and you." I patted his left shoulder to comfort him.
"I am okay......" He wiped the moisture from his eyes and cleared his throat
"I am very happy that nothing happened to both of you and you guys are now together" We smiled at each other.
"Hey dude, leave that. Have you spotted the girls yet?" He nodded in no.
"Okay, let me see where they are" He grabbed my right wrist and made me sit again.
"Don't worry, they are here and safe" I raised my eyebrow at his calm composure.
"And how do you know that" He gave me an amusing smile.
"You know, I keep a watch on my wife." He chuckled a little
"What?? Does she know that?" He smirked and moved his head left and right in no.
"You know I am out most of time and I am always concerned about her safety that's why I have secretly placed a chip in her toe rings. She can remove any of her jewelry but not them"
"And why so?" I have seen that Gawri also always wear her wedding chain but never cared about her toe rings.
"A hindu married woman removes her toe rings only after the demise of her husband." I was surprised on this little information.
"I knew that and that's why I have gifted two pairs of toe rings to Mrinal on our wedding night. It also has sensors in them which tells me about her mood means if she is happy, sad, angry or frightened so I am always prepared to face her" He winked and we laughed.
"This is cheating you know" He called the waiter and take two flutes.
"This is smartness my friend." He gave one flute to me.
"So tell me what is your wife doing right now" I gave him a challenging look.
"I have only access to her location, voice and mood, I can't show you any visual" I signaled him to proceed and he took out his tablet.
"She is right now at the right side of the garden which is 20 meters away from this place and..." A frown appeared on his face.
"What happened?" I scooted and peeked into the screen.
"She was happy few seconds ago but now she is worried as per the sensors" His frown deepened and concern covered his face.
"Let's go to her" I gestured him to stand but he signaled me to wait.
He took out a pair of earphones and stuffed his ears and tapped something on the screen.
"She is with Gauri" He half raised his head towards me and I resumed my seat.
"Would you like to listen" I took one earphone and put it into my ear.
"You stay here and listen to this. I couldn't understand them if they are talking in hindi" He was about to give me the other earphone but I stopped him.
(Conversation between Mrinal and Gauri)
"Kya hua, chehra utra kyun hai tera (what happened, why this long face)" It was Mrinal's voice.
"Kuch nahi (Nothing)" Gauri's replied her in a soft but disappointed tone.
"Gauri, mere sath tere drame nahi chalenge. Ab bak (Your tantrums won't work on me. Now spit it out)" Mrinal scolded her.
"Mrinal, main Alex k liye sahi nahi hu (I am not good for Alex)" My heart become sad
"Aur ye tujhe kisne kaha (And who told you so)" mrinal immediately cut her off
"Mrinal, sari aurtein mujhe ghoor k dekh rahi thi aur unme se kuch ye keh rahi thi k main princess sujata ki beti nahi lagti hu. Wo ye bhi keh rahi thi k mera aur Alex ka koi match nahi hai (All ladies were staring at me and some of them were saying that I don't look like Princess Sujata daughter. They were also saying that I am no match for Alex)" Gauri sniffed and I curled my fingers into a fist in anger. I couldn't reveal to Rohan that I was understanding their conversation so I put a blank look on my face.
"Sahi to keh rahi thi wo log, kahan meri hoor jaisi behan aur kahan wo langoor jaisa Alex (They were saying right thing, here you are, my sister just like a fairy and that Alex, he is just like a baboon.) How he can be a match for you" I suppressed my laughter with great difficulty but Rohan gave out a laugh in my direction and I gave him a questioning look.
"Shut up Mrinal, it is not funny" Gauri lightly scolded her.
"I know I am not perfect for him" She complained again.
"Gauri, meri taraf dekh (Look at me)" there was a pause after that
"Kya bat hai, kuch to aisa hai jo tu mujhse chhupa rahi hai (What is the matter, there is something which you are hiding from me)" Mrinal asked in a serious tone.
"Umm, wo Mrinal..." Gauri stuttered a little
"Kal sab thik to tha (was everything okay yesterday), did he hurt you?" Mrinal must be asking about our sexual beginning.
"No, No Mrinal, he was good... very good." A smile formed on my lips and Mrinal chuckle came from other side.
"Then?"
"Mrinal, maine tujhe Stella k bare me bataya tha na (I have told you about Stella)" my body stiffened on her name.
"Han, wahi Daniel ki girlfriend (Yes, Daniel's girlfriend)"
"Alex usse pyar karta tha (Alex loved her)" Rohan gave me a surprised look which I returned with a confused one.
"Mrinal, Stella Alex k liye bilkul perfect hai. Sundar hai, classy hai aur Alex k ..(Stella is perfect for Alex, She is beautiful, elegant and she has ..)"
"Chup kar (Shut up)" Mrinal shouted in anger.
"Ek bat yad rakh, tu Alex ki biwi hai Stella nahi (Just remember one thing, you are Alex's wife not stella)"
"ye sindoor, ye mangalsutra tu pehanti hai Alex k nam ka, Stella nahi (you wear this vermillion, this wedding chain on Alex's name, not Stella)"
"Stella Alex ka past hai, Alex usse pyar nahi karta. Alex tujhse pyar karta hai samjhi (Stella is Alex's past. He doesn't love her, he loves you. Got it??"
"Alex ne das sal tere liye matam manaya hai, Stella k liye nahi (Alex has mourned for you over ten year, not for Stella)" Mrinal kept on shouting at her and Rohan was listening attentively.
"Mrinal, main Alex k bare me kuch nahi janti. Alex ne kabhi mujhe uske bare me nahi bataya (I don't know anything about Alex. He didn't tell me anything about her)" Gauri sniffed again
"Listen girl, the one thing you should know about Alex is that he loves you a lot and nothing matters after that" Mrinal became serious all of a sudden
"Aur wo kab batata tujhe Stella k bare me, tab jab tu use mara hua samajh rahi thi ya tab jab tum logo k zindgi me hadse ho rahe the ya tab jab wo kidnap ho gaya tha. Kab batana chahiye tha use, bol (And when he should tell you about stella, then when you were considering him dead or when you were being attacked after marriage or when he was kidnapped. Tell me when should he tell you)" Mrinal was taking my favor
"See Gauri, he is very happy to have you back. Don't ruin his happiness with these silly thoughts. You guys have just started your real married life, try to enjoy it." Mrinal's tone has become soft.
"Mrinal mujhe dar lagta hai, main Alex ko khona nahi chahti dubara se (I am afraid, I don't want to lose him again)" Gauri stuttered.
"Kuch nahi hoga, Alex tera hai aur tera hi rahega. Lekin agar tune ye sab sochna band nahi kiya na to jarur tumhare rishte me tension ayegi (Nothing will happen. Alex is your and he will remain yours. But if you have not stopped thinking these craps then it can cause strain in your relation)" Mrinal warned her.
"pakka na, Alex mera hi rahega na (Are you sure, Alex will be mine forever)" Oh god, how insecure my wife is.
"han re, agar tu aur pakka karna chahti hai (of course, and if you want to be more sure) then you have to give him what he has missed all these years" I sensed a teasing tone in Mrinal's voice.
"What I should give him? What he has missed?" Gauri asked innocently and Rohan gave me an amusing smile.
"You, he has missed you. He has missed your voice, your beauty, your smile, your scent, your soft skin..."
"Mrinal stop it...." Gauri was giggling
"Baby, just bang him everyday where sun doesn't shine and he would never look at any girl ever" Gauri laughed out loud and Mrinal joined her so does Rohan.
"Your wife is a devil. What she was teaching my innocent wife" I complained him and he chuckled while pulling out the ear plug from his ear.
He summarized their conversation while translating it to me and told me to spend more time with Gauri.
"I got it, you mean I should take her out on date, shopping, holidays" he slapped his forehead in frustration.
"You are stupid. I mean to say that try to know about each other. Tell her about you, your life before you visited India and after you came back from there. Give her some space" he explained
"But....don't stop what you have already started" I gave him a confused look
"Alex, you have already consummated your marriage and although she wants to spend more time with you to know about you, it doesn't mean that she is not craving for more physical intimacy. So, don't try to stay away from her when you do the talking" I nodded in agreement and we did a high five. I am very lucky to have such wise friends in my life.
