Clara's pov
Jace was on his way. He usually walks since he doesn't live that far.
I had so many questions about werewolves.
'When you get here just come in the door is open' I sent him.
I looked down at my stomach and every time I thought of the kids I got excited and a feeling of happiness in me.
I guess it's a mothers love thing. I hope Jace is equally as happy about having kids.
Especially since we're mates. They said mates are soul mates so I guess he should be happy to have kids with me if we really are soul mates.
But then why would he lie about that? I also want to know what's the big deal about being an alpha. Yeah you're the leader but its just a title. And if I'm his mate what title do I have?
And is a girl alpha called an alpha or does she have a different name? And how do you get this title? And are they're anymore titles? And if there are how do you get those? And does everyone have this title?
Hopefully Jace can answer these for me because I'm really confused.
And also how big is his pack? And when will I meet them? And what will they think of me?
Will they hate me like humans hate their leaders? And will I have any responsibilities?
Of course I'm sure I will. This is the twenty first century and women have rights.
I heard Jace opening the door and he came in and locked it behind him and he sat next to me on the couch.
I made sure the tv was off and I turned to face him. "So why did you want to come over?" I asked not really bothered but he did text me asking if I wanted him to come.
"Ryder told me him and your mom went somewhere I can't tell you but you'd be alone so I decided to ask if you wanted company." He said.
"I'll always want your company." I said speaking the truth. I'm guessing its a mate thing to want to be near your mate since I love being near him.
And next year he'll be a junior in high school and I'll be a freshman so at least we'll be at the same school.
"So since you're here I've been having tons of werewolf questions." I said.
"I can probably answer all of them." He said and I took that as my cue to start asking the questions
"So how did you get your alpha title? And what do you do?" I asked.
"I got the title of alpha when my dad got too tired of doing it. He decided even though I was young when I turned fifteen I would take his spot. The alpha title runs in my family and our first son will have it." He said. "And I basically run the pack and the pack treats me with respect." He said.
"Why can't our firstborn have it even if she's a girl?" I asked. Why can't a girl be an alpha or is he physic and knows our first child will be a boy?
"It very rare for packs to have a female alpha. Usually it's the male and his mate becomes the Luna. Which is what you'll be. The Luna is like the First Lady in a way I guess. My mom can help explain it." He said.
I found this only male alpha thing ridiculous. "Well listen here." I said sternly. "You said it's rare which mess it happens. If our firstborn is a girl she will be alpha and her mate if he or she doesn't want to be called a Luna then they'll both have the alpha title got it." I said not backing down from my decision.
I mean what kind of bullshit is that? A girl Luna would be fine. Females can do anything if not more a male can.
They can control men with sex and looks for one thing and seduce them.
Not that I'd want our daughter to do that and flaunt her body around but girls can do it,
In the end girls are superior.
"If it makes you happy then I'll be happy." He said kissing me. The kiss didn't last long because I still had questions.
"So what other positions are there in the pack?" I asked. "Well there's my beta which is second in command. Since your brother is half wolf I made him the beta. Then my cousin Oliver is the third in command who takes place if me and Ryder are busy or taking care of something else. And Ryder had a wolf just can't shift. They got those positions because I have them the positions." He said.
They already explained to me what a persons wolf was.
"And then there's a pack warrior who is someone who would fight rogues or another pack in a war. They go through intense training as did Oliver, Ryder, and I did. All those times we hung out we were training and although Ryder can't shift he has proved his strength." He said.
I felt proud if Ryder. Although he couldn't shift into a werewolf he still proved his strength among them.
I'm glad to be able to call him my brother.
"Do your parents know we're mates?" I asked. He shook his head no.
"What do you mean no?" I asked. "They know we're dating and you're pregnant but I didn't want to tell them you were my mate without you with me." He said.
"So do they think I'm just some slut you impregnated?" I asked. He shook his head.
"They think you're a girl who got taken advantage of by me." He said.
"Oh. So when will I meet them? And when will I meet the pack?" I asked.
You can meet them whenever you want to. I know the pack will be happy to know they have a Luna and my parents happy that you're my mate not some girl." He said.
"Well how big is the pack?" I asked. "I'm the alpha of the biggest pack in America. There's roughly around five hundred wolves to six hundred." He said.
My mouth dropped. "That's a lot of wolves. And you're the leader of all of them?" I asked. He nodded .
"I have the title, although sometimes my dad will help out. When I introduce you to them you will be a leader too since we already mated. Most werewolf books say that we have to mark our mates by biting them on the neck but that's not true. All you need to mate someone is haves sex with them. Well as long as they're your mate then you'll be mated." He said.
I nodded. Well we're already mated and two kids on the way.
I guess being mated under those circumstances is a good thing. And since we are mates it's a good thing as well.
I'm new to this though. Hopefully I get used to it. I know I will one day.
"Those are all the questions I can think of right now." I said. "So why can't you tell me where Ryder and my mom went?" I asked. It isn't like them to just leave and not tell me where they're going.
"It's a surprise." He said and I groaned I hate surprises. And they all know that so why they're doing it I have no clue.
"So what do you want to do now?" He asked. "Well I've been craving some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches." I said. I hate cravings.
He got up and went to the kitchen. I realized he was going to make me one. I went up to him in the kitchen as he was getting everything out.
"You don't have to make me one." I said laughing. "Well I want to." He said. "Now go get what you want to drink and sit at the table." He said.
"Well if you're making me a sandwich make yourself one too." I said. "So I'll go get us both drinks." I said going into the garage.
Usually the girls are in the kitchen making sandwiches. I grabbed yep sprites since I knew we both liked sprite and I was pretty sure I couldn't have caffeine but I'll ask my mom later.
When I got back in the kitchen I set the cans at the table.
"I'm going to get my phone." I said and walked into the living room and grabbed my phone off the couch.
I got on my YouTube account and saw that many people wanted to meet Jace since he's the father.
Then I remembered I haven't told anyone about the YouTube account.
Jace brought the sandwiches over and sat down next to me. "There's something I need to tell you." I said.
"What?" He asked. "Well a yesterday I made a YouTube account that actually got really popular. I was doing vlogs on being young and pregnant.
I didn't mention the werewolves but I explained you're fifteen and my brothers best friend. It become popular overnight and a lot if people want to meet you in a video would you do that?" I asked.
"As long as we're just humans." He said. I smiled. He was going to do it. I posted a comment to my subscribers to leave questions they wanted to ask him.
We ate in silence and I enjoyed the silence. It wasn't an awkward silence.
I guess we were both just too caught up in our own thoughts to talk.
I noticed my stomach is starting to look bigger. I guess that's normal since I have two babies in me.
I'm eight weeks since the doctor told me mom that Saturdays are when I'm another week. So I'm two months.
I can't believe we went that long without knowing. But then again pregnancy takes weeks to actually start since it takes time for the sperm and egg to meet if the girl is ovulating.
I paid attention in sex education.
I knew that when I'm nine months I'll look huge. But I'm not fat. Just growing room for a baby.
I heard the door open meaning Ryder and my mom were home.
"Where did you guys go?" I asked my mom. "The store we had to get something's." She said.
"Really? That was the big secret?" I asked Jace. "No." Ryder said. "The surprise is what we got." He said.
"Well I'm going to go put the bags somewhere." My mom said and Ryder helped her.
"Do you know what that was about?" I asked Jace. "It's a surprise." He said.
I groaned. I hate surprises. I also hate the only male alpha rule but at least I got Jace to agree that if our firstborn is a girl then she'll be alpha.
Is the werewolf world sexist or something? I hope not. But I've grown used to disappointment so if it is I wouldn't be suprised.
But I would try to change that. I would raise my kids not to be sexist and hopefully some people in the pack would agree with me. But then again I'm only thirteen so what difference could I make?
I don't think I'm ready to meet the pack just yet. But I'm pretty sure I'm ready to meet Jace's parents. But I wonder what they'll think of me.
Maybe they'll be happy I'm Jace's mate. Maybe they'll be happy that they'll have grandchildren? I just hope they don't think I'm a slut.
Hell who am I kidding they probably already do. Just because I'm thirteen and pregnant doesn't mean I'm a slut. I've only been with one person and I know who the father of my children is.
Yes I had sex at a young age but that's the past, and what's done is done and I can't change that. That's why I'm facing this in a positive way. I can't change what happened. So why mope around and wish I would when I can't?
If I can't change the past then I'm going to make sure the future is better. That's how I look at it.
I could always abort but the thought of killing something that had no control over it being born is sick. I won't kill two babies for my mistakes.
So now I have to clean myself up and prepare to be a teen mother of two. Jace says he'll stick around. But if he doesn't I'll still try to be a good mother. I hope he stays though. And I don't really have any doubts he won't.
So I guess we both need to prepare. Because these kids will be with us for the next eighteen years. And what will happen after they're born? Will they stay with me or with him? Or will I get one and he gets another?
We really need to start planning. Because we have a long road ahead of us.
