{11} FLIRTING??
I had no idea if they found the bestiary or not but at this moment I really couldn't care less. I want to know if they are ok so I send a text message to Stiles and Scott hoping they reply, I doubt they will but it's worth a try. I took a quick shower and let my hair air dry as I didn't care too much about it. I got dressed in a hurry and just threw an outfit together. I kept my makeup look very simple and natural until the lips and decided to go a bit bold today and went with black. I dressed in a simple oversized grey sweater and black jeans ripped at the knee. I put on a beige long cardigan and threw on my white shoes. I looked at myself and decided it was a good look for today. I put the black lipstick in my bag just in case I needed to re-touch it during the day. I grabbed an apple on my way out.
My dad was at the table having his breakfast. I said my goodbyes and left the house. I got in my car and drove to school hopefully getting a good parking spot. I didn't bother going to first lesson and decided to go to the library to prepare for the assignment that was coming up soon. It's a good thing many of the teachers don't even realise you're not in their classes because if they did then I will be a hell of a lot of trouble. I looked at my watch and saw that I was five minutes late to my next class. Mr Harris is definitely going to kill me most likely anyways.
I walked into class to hear Mr Harris talking about 'Human stupidity'
"Ahh, Amelia it's nice of you to join us" I muttered a sorry and sat in a random seat next to an overweight guy. I didn't mind sitting next to Hyde although he is a bit too quiet around everyone one and that somehow bothers me.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by Amelia presence in joining this class. So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or in Mr Stilinski's case, less than one. Erica, you take the first station. You'll start with - I didn't ask for volunteers." Every boy put their hands up apart from a few and even a few girls did. "Put your hormonal little hands down. Start with Mr McCall. All right, next two." I started off with Hyde as Mr Harris thought me and him as a partner will be good for the station we were at. We started doing everything the piece of paper had told us to and we were working as a team until we had to swap stations. Hyde moved and I was just waiting for my next partner to arrive. Turns out it's my lucky day.
"How about you do it and I admire you?" Isaac said while he was fiddling around with a piece of equipment.
"How about we both do it does that sound like a plan?" I whisper not raising my voice. I could see Scott in the corner of my eye watching me speak to Isaac almost as if he is going to attack him as soon as he touches me.
"Let me take you out" He speaks in a hurry like he was scared of asking me out. I smile and nod my head. I didn't want to reject him and in my opinion, he seems like a nice guy and if he is bad then I will see it for myself.
"That'll be nice" He smiles and starts helping me with what Harris had told us to do.
"Ok everyone next stations," Harris shouted making sure everyone heard. Scott comes and sits next to me but I don't think he is supposed to be here with me.
"Scott I'm sorry I left yesterday and I hope everything went well" I quickly say hoping Mr Harris won't catch us.
"Look everything went well apart from a few hiccups. I don't have much as Harris can spot me anytime so I was just wondering what Isaac had spoken to you about" He whispers not raising his voice so the professor won't hear him.
"He didn't say anything he was just trying to get away with doing it so I just told him that he has to and that's all" I was just hoping he wouldn't know that I was lying to him. Couldn't he have heard our conversation? So why did he come over? Maybe to see if I would lie to him or not. He nods and goes back to his station and I'm left alone wondering where my partner is. I decide to finish it off myself and I am left with crystals.
"Time. If you've catalysed the reaction correctly, you should now be looking at a crystal. Now for the part of that last experiment, I'm sure you'll all enjoy - You can eat it." I got excited when I had heard this. I just hope it tastes nice. I take a bite out of it when Scott just shouts out Lydia's name. I ignore it and finish off the crystal in my hand.
Once we had put everything away we left the classroom I had been dragged by Stiles into a closed room with Allison and Scott.
"Derek's outside waiting for Lydia."
"Waiting to kill her?"
"Wait a second. Derek is going to kill Lydia why?"
"Derek thinks Lydia is the kanima. You know the shapeshifter reptile? They thought it was Jackson but not as the venom did affect him but not with Lydia" Stiles explains in a very fast pace.
"So just keep her in the school he isn't going to kill her if she is surrounded by students who can witness to the crime"
"Well, what about after school? What about then?" I roll my eyes at Allison's comment. I started devising a plan if they couldn't convince Derek that she isn't the kanima, maybe taking her to a secure place where Derek couldn't get to her? Or somewhere where no one could get to her? Somewhere where we can protect her like a house. Although they decided to think of the details of what would happen after school if they couldn't convince Derek to give us time. We all separated to go to our next class before the bell rang well I went to my next class not sure about the others. Someone pulled my hand into an empty corridor.
"We never discussed the plans for our date" I smiled when I realised the voice. I don't have any feelings for him although but I have a feeling I will.
"Well, whoever said it was a date?" I smirked. Oh wow, I'm flirting.
"Me" His face started inching closer to mine I was positive that we were going to kiss.
"Well how about I give you my number and we will talk about this date on the phone?" I suggest and he nods. I take my phone out and he does as well and we exchange number. I say bye and go to my lesson getting a chime from my phone signalling I have got a message.

I smile at his name considering he put a heart even though we have just started talking. I speed walk to my class and see Derek and Scott in the field with someone. My class can wait. I started walking as fast as I can to get to them as soon as I can.
"Is this someone else you brought on to your team?" The boy that I don't know says. Scott turns around giving me a look that says 'what are you doing here?' I shrug my shoulders and join in the conversation.
"Derek all we ask is for more time to prove to you that Lydia is not who you seek. There is no reason for you to attack her for all you know she might somehow be immune." I explain to him.
"Scott keep your pet on a leash or tape her mouth" My mouth opens in shock but I instantly close it regretting that I ever spoke. They continue talking almost as if I am not here and then Scott walks away and I follow him.
"Look go to the school entrance the rest should be leaving right now" Confused yet I obliged and separate from him. I see them piling into Stiles jeep and I get in my car as quickly as possible and follow them. They stop in front of a house and I exit the car and walk towards the house and knock on the door.
"Stiles open up it's me Amelia" Stiles and Allison peer through the windows near the door and open the door.
"Where is Lydia?" I said closing the door behind me and Stiles immediately locks it and puts a chair for extra precaution.
"She is upstairs with Jackson" Allison replies. I nod and let them two talk hopefully coming up with a plan.
"I've got an idea. Shoot one of them" Stiles and his great ideas.
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah are you being serious if you haven't noticed they're werewolves"
"Look we told Scott we could protect ourselves, so let's do it. Or at least give it a shot, right?" I nod along with Stiles.
"Allison just shoot one of them. Maybe Derek? In the head? If you hurt him then the rest might back off." This time Stiles agrees with me.
"If Scott was able to catch an arrow, Derek definitely can." I didn't think of that.
"Okay, uh, just shoot one of the other three then." Allison gives a confused look to me and Stiles.
"You mean other two?"
"No, I mean three" He looks through the window before opening his mouth to speak again. "Where the hell is Isaac?" Allison and Stiles look at each other with a scared look on both of their faces. I get pulled back with a hand over my mouth making sure I don't scream. He pulls me into a room where he tells me to be quiet before he takes his hand off my mouth.
"Amelia stay here. Do not move unless it's important." I hear Allison shouting my name wondering where I have gone. Isaac leaves the room and then I hear something being thrown on to the floor. Knowing a fight has started and I have no idea how to protect myself I stay put. After 10 minutes there are no more sounds like a library. I walk out and see the front door open and walk out. I see Erica and Isaac on the floor. I rush over to them.
"Are you guys ok? What happened?" They didn't answer me. I look up to see the others. They are staring at something above. I quickly move and see a lizard or snake type of shapeshifter.
"That's the kanima? That's Lydia?" Lydia comes walking out the house in a state of a shock.
"Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" It's not Lydia.
"It's Jackson."
