Mia sat on the end of her bed, with her legs crossed, and started to play. She seemed almost relieved, as if she’d been a little worried about letting down people in her game.

Ellie sat behind Mia, with her arms around Mia’s waist. She sat and watched the TV over Mia’s shoulder, and decide she liked this. It felt quite nice, being like this. It felt friendly. Sociable, in an unsexy way that was actually quite a nice change from being unspeakably sexy and intense together all the time.

Mia was watching the screen, concentrating. She seemed to be running through some kind of desolate city. She climbed, and was then up on rooftops. She ran a lot, and sometimes shot at things, and then ran some more. Sometimes the view changed, as she lay down, and then suddenly zoomed in. Ellie watched, interested in a way she wasn’t when it was just Mark playing at home, but she couldn’t really tell what was happening. Mia seemed to be on her own, away from everyone else, but watching on a little map and being told where to go by other players and shooting at things anyway.

After a while, though, Ellie got a little bored. After a while she got a little impatient, and decided she’d quite like to start.

She kissed Mia’s neck. Kissed it several times, and said, “Is that annoying?”

“Nope.”

Ellie kissed some more. “I won’t get in your way?” she said.

“Not at all,” Mia said. “I’d sort of wondered where you got to.”

Ellie smiled, and kissed Mia’s neck again, and then her bare arm. Then she stretched around Mia, reaching as far as she could, and put her hand onto Mia’s leg. She slid, and stroked, and Mia shivered.

“Still okay?” Ellie said.

“Yep,” Mia said, but her voice was a little softer than it had been.

Ellie reached with other hand, and touched with that too, so both of hers were on Mia’s legs. She slid her fingers down, then up the insides of Mia’s legs. She slid gently, taking her time.

Mia’s skin was soft, and a little slippery. She must just have put lotion on.

“Still okay?” Ellie whispered, and kissed Mia’s neck some more.

Mia nodded. “I should stop though,” she said. “And pay attention to you.”

“Or not,” Ellie said. “I don’t mind.”

“This is terrible. To keep playing while you do this.”

“It’s for our secret,” Ellie said, and kissed Mia’s neck. “It’s not that you want to.”

Mia turned and looked at Ellie, and grinned. “Okay,” she said. “Since it’s for that.”

Ellie smiled back. Mia looked at her for a moment.

“I think someone’s shooting you,” Ellie said, as the screen went all red and blurry.

Mia looked at the TV. “Oh yeah,” she said, but she didn’t seem too worried. She concentrated on the game again.

Ellie kissed Mia’s neck, and stroked Mia’s legs, stroking Mia’s skirt slid upwards so she could touch. She stroked higher, underneath it, so her hands disappeared past the hem. Up so she felt Mia’s skin suddenly smoother, and suddenly hotter, where Mia’s legs almost met.

Ellie stroked. She kissed, and stroked Mia’s legs, and watched Mia play.

She decided she couldn’t wait.

Mia could keep playing, Ellie didn’t mind that, but Ellie was getting desperate. She needed to start without Mia, if Mia wasn’t ready.

Ellie took her hands away from Mia’s legs, and put one against Mia’s tummy instead. She slid it downwards. Slid, so her hand went inside Mia’s skirt, and inside Mia’s underwear too, both at the same time.

Mia was wet. She was hot and wet under Ellie’s fingers. She closed her eyes and gasped when Ellie touched her.

The way Mia was sitting, with her legs crossed and knees apart, meant her lips were spread open too. All of her was spread open to Ellie’s touch. That was sexy, Ellie thought. It felt welcoming. Mia being like that was a wonderful, slippery invitation to Ellie’s fingers.

Ellie touched with just one finger, sliding it between Mia’s lips, and Mia was spread apart enough that Ellie only made the barest of contacts, the slightest of touches. She stroked once, teasing, then used two fingers, touching more firmly, more wetly onto Mia.

Mia sighed again, and closed her eyes. After a moment Ellie looked up.

The screen was going red again.

“Game,” Ellie whispered, and Mia opened her eyes, and started playing again.

Ellie kept doing what she was. She used two fingers, sliding inside Mia, pressing down with the back of her hand. It felt familiar, rubbing Mia like this. It felt almost normal, an old habit, something Ellie understood. Something she could actually do quite well. She hadn’t thought of it before, she supposed, but sitting behind Mia, reaching around her, meant Ellie’s hands were moving in almost the same ways as they did when she touched herself. She knew how to move, Ellie decided, and what to do, and that made her a lot more confident. It felt familiar, Ellie thought, but also not. Familiar, but excitingly different, because it was Mia and Mia felt every so slightly different to Ellie.

Ellie rubbed. She slipped her fingertips inside Mia. She touched Mia like she would herself, and watched the TV as she did.

Mia seemed to be doing badly at the game.

There was shouting going on, other players voices through the TV speakers. Ellie thought Mia was being called names, but couldn’t completely tell past all their panic.

She suddenly thought about speakers, and sounds, and how other people were talking.

“Hey,” she said. “They can’t hear us, can they?”

“What?”

“Can people in the game hear us?”

Mia shook her head. “I don’t use a headset,” she said. “If I do, everyone knows I’m a girl.”

“Oh,” Ellie said, and didn’t quite understand, and then decided she didn’t care.

Mia kept playing, and Ellie rubbed quicker. Mia leaned back a little more, probably without realizing, so that Ellie was taking more of her weight. Ellie didn’t mind. She held Mia up, and rubbed, and kissed Mia’s neck now and then. Sometimes she licked, and Mia sighed whenever she did.

Mia kept playing, but not very well. Ellie thought Mia’s eyes were closed a lot of the time, unless there was actually shooting happening near her in the game. There was more complaining from other people, which Mia seemed to be ignoring.

After a while Mia said, “Oh fuck Ellie,” and stopped breathing, and went all tense inside Ellie’s arms.

She went tense, and then went soft again, and opened her eyes.

Ellie kept rubbing, gently. Terribly gently, and terribly carefully, like she’d want to be touched herself right after she came.

“I did,” Mia said, after a moment.

“So?” Ellie said.

“So I did. If you want to.”

“You’re always on about how you can lots of times.”

“Yeah…”

“So do,” Ellie said, and kept rubbing gently.
