Judgment Day

Definition:
The day when someone finally points out
your biggest flaw;
when you people see the real you.
Everyday I fear this.
Going to school wondering if today is the day.
Being self - conscious in the hallway
when people laugh,
whisper,
and look at you.
All I can think is,
what do they think of me?
Spend so much time finding the right clothes.
Telling myself I am invisible to them,
Talking to someone to try to forget that
there are people possibly watching.
Paranoid that today will be the day.
The day that someone says my biggest flaw
out loud.
I care too much about what I look like,
because of this day.
Maybe it will never come.
Maybe that is wishful thinking.
Why does it have to be this way?
Why do I care so much?
Why is it that this day is feared so much?
