"I know what happened to Donovan." Theo said, taking a step towards Stiles and I. "I know everything..."

Stiles narrowed his eyes, lunging at Theo. He grabbed his shirt, pinning him against the fence.

"You don't know anything." Stiles said between his teeth. Theo grabbed Stiles shoulders, flipping them so Stiles was against the fence.

"I was there." He yelled. "I was at the library. Malia found the book. She was texting us to see where you were. She said she left you at the library. I told her I was close. When i got there, I heard the scaffolding come down." He finished as Stiles stared at him.

"You saw him?" Stiles barley whispered as Theo nodded. "Just the body." Stiles let go of Theo's shirt, as he took a step back from Stiles.

"I was gonna say something." He continued. "But then I saw the cop car. And the body was gone. I don't know who took him. I only saw what you guys saw, and I didn't say anything because you two didn't" He said, glancing back at me.

I couldn't help but feel betrayed by Theo, but at the same time, grateful. He could've told the police, we'd be in jail, but he didn't. Maybe Stiles would finally realize that he's only trying to help us, not destroy us.

A siren echoed through the air, breaking the awkward silence between the three of us. "That's not an ambulance, is it?" Theo asked causing Stiles to shake his head. "We should get out of here."

My eyes widened. "We can't just leave him." I said as Theo sighed. "Fine. Alright, let's take him."

I raised my eyebrows at him as he shrugged. "Someone's stealing the bodies anyway, right? Here's our chance to find out who." Stiles glanced between Theo and the body as I sighed. "Maybe he's right Stiles."

"Stiles, come on." Theo pleaded. "We gotta do something." Stiles shook his head. "You killed him." He said softly.

"In self-defense." Theo said bluntly. "He was going to kill me. He was going to kill all of us." He said, glancing between the three of us. "If we stay, we're either going to have to tell the trust or we're going to need a pretty convincing story."

Stiles bit his lip, keeping his eyes on the body. "It's your choice." Theo crossed his arms. "I'm not going to ask you to lie to your dad. Either one of you."

"Don't worry." Stiles bent down, grabbing ahold on the body. "We've had plenty of practice." I sighed, grabbing on the legs as Theo took the other shoulder.

Stiles was right. At this point, Lying had become our profession.

We arrived at the clinic, Scott following right behind us. As far as he was concerned, one of the doctors had killed Scott. Theo kept his promise, Stiles and I were returning the favor.

"Do you know him?" Theo asked as Stiles lifted the cover, showing Scott the body. "His name's Josh." Scott said as he nodded. "He was a junior. Which one did it? The one with the cane?" He questioned as we nodded. "Yeah."

Stiles sighed, covering the body back up. "What are we going to do with him? We can't just set the alarm and leave." Stiles stated as I nodded. "That's how Tracy disappeared."

"Alright, someone's got to stay here with him then." Scott said, glancing at all of us.

"I'll do it." Theo spoke up, causing Stiles to turn toward him. "It's not like I had a big Sunday night planned."

As I was about to object, Scott's phone went off. He pulled it out of his pocket, furrowing his eyebrows. "What is it?" I questioned.

"Another one." He paused. "Another Chimera." Scott grabbed his coat off the hanger. "You guys coming?"

Stiles and I glanced at eachother before nodding, following Scott out the door.

As we left, I couldn't help but feel strange about leaving Theo alone.

"So who exactly is the next chimera?" I asked Scott as he loaded his bike in the back of the jeep. "It's Hayden."

I raised my eyebrows. "Hayden? As In Liam and Hayden?" He nodded as we got into the jeep. "Liam found out, brought her to our house. She locked herself in the bathroom." I nodded as we drove down the road.

"Hayden?" Scott questioned as he knocked on the door. "It's Scott." Liam stood across the room, pacing around nervously.

"We want to help." Scott pleaded, leaning against the wall.

Her heartbeat thumped throughout my head. I walked over to Liam, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I can hear her heart beating. She's really freaked out. What happened?" I questioned him, crossing my arms.

He sighed. "She was okay when we got here." He said, glancing at the bathroom door. "I went to text Scott for two seconds and she locked herself in."

"Why?" I further questioned as he shook his head. "I don't know."

"She's definitely a Chimera?" Scott came over to us as Liam nodded. "She said she heard a voice saying, 'Your condition improves."

"Okay, that's unsettling." Stiles muttered as he walked over to the door. "Hayden This is Stiles." He said. "Your sister works for my dad down at the station."

He sighed as silence continued to fill the air. "Look, just open the door, okay? You can trust us." Stiles sighed, causing me to step forward.

"Hayden." I said, lightly knocking on the door. "This is Aubrey." I started. "We just need to tell you the trust, Hayden. And trust me, this kind of thing usually is better face-to-face." I paused, waiting for her to respond.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk, or if you're not ready to believe us. But we just gotta know that you're okay in there." I finished, stepping back away from the door.

Suddenly, I heard a click, the door creaked open. Scott placed a hand on the door, slowly pushing it open.

Hayden stood there, her eyes a bright yellow, her hands equipped with claws. She looks up at us in horror. "I believe you."

Stiles, Scott, and I all met in the library the next day. We vowed to Liam that we'd protect Hayden from the Dread Doctors.

"We're back at telluric currents?" Stiles questioned as Scott pulled out a map, showing all the currents in Beacon Hills.

"If the Dread Doctors didn't like coming into Eichen House because of them, maybe we can use them to protect Hayden." Scott stated as I crossed my arms. "Okay, so, besides Eichen, where's the strongest convergence?"

Scott placed his hand over the highschool. "We're standing on it."

"You want us to hide her in the high school?" Stiles questioned as Scott nodded. "For how long?"

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "If we have to, all night. Liam convinced Hayden not to say anything to her sister yet. She's working a double tonight, and she thinks Hayden's staying at a friend's."

"But it's just a school though." I said, crossing my arms. "You know, it's not exactly a fortress."

"Lydia's got an idea for that." Scott retorted. "Remember how Valack quoted Telsa?" Stiles nodded. "Frequency and Vibration."

"Exactly. She thinks he wasn't saying that just to sound smart. She thinks maybe it was a clue."

"To do what?" I asked. "Disrupt their frequency." "Parrish took there cell phone jammers from the station." Scott continued. "He thinks he can broaden their range of frequency. It's a long shot, but it's the best we've got right now."

After school, Stiles and I met at the jeep. He wanted to give Theo a little check up, hence why we're at the animal clinic. But who could blame him. I'll admit it, i'm skeptical about Theo, but I wouldn't let Stiles know that. He'd never stop saying, 'I told you so'.

"What's going on?" Theo asked as Stiles and I entered the back door of the building. "Whoever's stealing the bodies probably isn't going to do it while we're standing guard over one of them." Stiles stated, pulling out his phone.

"So you've got a better idea?" Stiles placed his phone against a jar, angling it towards the body. "There." He said. "Let's go."

I got into the back seat as Theo got into the front of the car. Stiles attached his watch, which display the camera, onto his front mirror. "What happens now?" Theo asked, sitting back in his seat.

"We wait." Theo nodded. "You want to take shifts watching?" Stiles laughed dryly, shaking his head. "No, no. I want to spend some quality time with you."

"Sounds good to me."

I could already tell. This was going to be extremely awkward.

"You still wondering why I haven't said anything to Scott?" Theo turned towards Stiles. "Maybe."

"You think i've got some kind of ulterior motive?"

"More than likely." Stiles nodded.

"Would you believe me if I said all I want...All i've ever wanted is for you guys to trust me?"

"Nope."

"Aubrey trusts me." He stated as Stiles shrugged. "She can trust who she wants to trust, I don't control her."

Theo slightly nodded. "So you're here because you're never going to trust me."

"Yup. Glad we had this talk." Theo sighed. "You know who you remind me of?"

"Theo, I don't care." Stiles said bluntly. "My sister." Theo continued, disregarding Stiles' comment. "She was smarter than everyone too. And a pain in the ass like you." He chuckled as Stiles shot him a glare.

"But she always looked out for me. The same way you look out for Scott and Aubrey." I couldn't help the smile on my face.

"You know, I was the one that found her body." He glanced out the window. "She'd fallen into a creek, broken her leg. They told us she would've been okay if it wasn't one of the coldest nights of the year. If it wasn't for the hypothermia."

He paused. "And when i found her, all I could think was that I should've known. That I should've been looking out for her." Stiles shook his head, turning towards him. "Why are you telling me this?"

"I'm telling you because even if you don't trust me and even if you don't like me, i'm still going to be looking out for you." He turned away from Stiles' glance. "The way I should've been looking out for her."

I shuddered at the thought. What if this happened to Scott? I don't think I could bare the thought of losing him. Heck, i'd take a bullet for him.

"You know I saw his teeth." Theo said, breaking the silence. "Donovan. He was, uh." He trailed off. "Wendigo." I finished for him as he nodded. "Yeah. That's the cannibal one, right?"

"Native American." Stiles answered. "The myth says that if you ate human flesh, your punishment was to turn into a creature that constantly craved it."

Theo laughed dryly. "That's a pretty judgmental myth." Stiles shrugged. "Well, I didn't make it up."

"What if it was the only way to survive?" I said, causing the boys to glance back at me. "I mean, you ever hear of the Donner party? I'm pretty sure they didn't turn into Wendigos."

Stiles rolled his eyes. "Well, they didn't live in Beacon Hills."

"Good point."

"So what's the punishment for killing a Chimera?" I asked as Stiles groaned. "You spend five hours in the car with Theo Raeken."

I sighed, glancing into the darkness out the window. "I know what my punishment is." I muttered. "I'm going to lose my brother. I'm going to lose Scott."

As much as it hurt to say, it was true. Scott was going to be furious once he finds out. Hurt that we didn't tell him.

Theo sighed, shaking his head. "If Scott really gave up on either one of you for some piece of crap like Donovan, then he wouldn't be a True Alpha, would he?" I shrugged, shaking my head. "Or maybe that's the definition of one, someone who doesn't put but with murder."

Theo chuckled. "It sounds like you guys need to look up justifiable homicide." He said, causing Stiles to turn towards him, narrowing his eyes. "Did you seriously just say that to the son of a cop?"

"A werewolf's eyes are supposed to change color when you take an innocent life." He closed his eyes, before opening them, now a bright yellow. "Do these look blue to you? It was self-defense."

He placed a hand on Stiles' and I's shoulders. "For all of us." Stiles brushed his hand off. "Or maybe you just don't feel all that bad about it." He stated.

"You can't say one life is objectively less innocent than another one. What if they turn blue 'cause you feel guilty?" Stiles finished as Theo nodded. "So it's up to interpretation?"

"Yeah, maybe."

"Okay. Then here's my interpretation of what happened with Donovan and the two of you." He started. "Not guilty. Did you feel bad about it?"

"I did. But not anymore." I said as Stiles nodded. "Right when it happened."

"What were you thinking the moment you knew he was dead and there was no saving him? One word.."

"Good." I muttered as Stiles nodded.

A strange scent filled the air. I smelt the air as I furrowed my eyebrows. "Aubrey, what is it?" Stiles questioned.

"Its a scent. Smells like Smoke, or something burning." I glanced out the window, noticing a bright orange light, heading straight for Theo.

"Theo, watch out!" I shouted, causing him to turn towards the light. Theo was punched across the face, blood splattering everywhere.

The door was yanked open and Theo was ripped out of the car. Before I could get out, the car started tipping forward.

"Aubrey, duck!" Stiles yelled as the car tipped over.

My head hit the hood with a thud, surrounding me with darkness.

Bright lights flashed my face as I slowly peered my eyes open. Theo and Stiles stood above me as I sat up. "Wh-" "The body's gone." Stiles said as my eyes widened.

"Who took it?"

They shook their heads. "No clue."
