I hope you enjoy it! I spent a lot of time on it ;)
Also, there should be some older request posted later! I ALSO REALLY REALLY WANTED TO DRAW BILL AS A CAT! My own cat version. Sorry if the picture is large Anyway, onto the one-shot!~ )

You had never been outside before. Not a day in your life. Your owners never let you. It's not like you didn't mind though. They spoiled you with treats and toys that kept you inside. So since you were curious about the outside world (and quite bored with seeing the same things every day) you decided to be rebellious and leave your master's house.

It didn't seem like a bad idea at first but soon things quickly turned for the worst.

In conclusion, you got lost.

Without a clue as to how to get home. The outside world was new and strange to you, so you had no idea where you were. But you knew you were in a bad part of town. A few run down buildings passed by you, towering over with scary shadows and shapes. Your small and slender body stalked around the area.

In a span of thirty minutes, you had aimlessly walked from the comforts of your master's home to the scariest part of town. The part of town were the sneakiest and malicious cats prowled.

For the longest time now you could sense something following you. Of course, you were scared, you have never been in this kind of situation before. Lost and being followed. You didn't know what to do.

While you passed by on the sidewalk, you could see from the passing alley cat eyes that watched your every move.

The feeling of being stalked overwhelmed you to the point where every at every noise your ears would twitch. Your tail flicked around in nervousness. You could hear their padded paws following you, making their presence very clear. It was hard to tell though with the yelling and noises coming from other buildings.

'I can hear them. What do I do? I've never been followed before, much less ever had a conversation with other cats,' The sound of their footsteps got louder, causing you to hunch your shoulders.

'Oh gosh, they're getting closer,' Your ears twitched. At the sound of the next paws, you immediately broke out into a sprint. From behind you could hear the other cats also running. Your (F/C) collar and tag bounced each time you leapt off your hind legs.

'I could lose them in alleys!' Then you pivot your body into the nearest alley, trying to get them off your tail.

It was like a maze of alleyways with no end. With each bend and turn you took as a chance to get as far away from them as you could. You were lucky that you had a chance to get away, but that luck was going to run out eventually.

Looking back you saw the three figures of the cats get smaller and smaller. Filled with pride you didn't notice that you had run into a dead end. The walls cornered you just like those cats would. Inside the alley was littered with little mice bones that hid under the cover of night.

You had looked around for a way to get out but came to no uses. Then when you tried to leave you saw the cats who had chased you already at the end of the alley. It looked like they were smirking as they crawled over to you.

"Well, well, well," One cat purred, it was the center one of the three, "Look at what we got here boys, a kittypet."

The two other cats cackled in laughter. The middle cat was the tallest of the three, his hide was was black with random grey stripes. His eyes were both yellow but the right eye was milked out because of a scar that ran along his face.

"You lost little kitty?" He came close to you, making you cower onto your front paws. His tongue licked his sharp teeth.

"She's a pretty kittypet," One of the cats meowed. It was an orange tabby. He came closer.

"She won't be so pretty after we're done with her," The other one hissed. The last cat was a mix, both ginger, and Russian blue. The orange and grey fur swirled together to make a weird combination. The mixed Russian lurched forward with a leap, scaring you.

You folded your ears and got into a defensive position.

"Aww, look boss. She's scared," The tabby cooed. Baring your teeth you crouched and hissed at the three toms.

"You picked yourself a feisty one," Russian mix scoffed. All three cats took a step over to you.

"P-Please, I d-don't want any trouble," You cowered.

It was a trick. You were just planning to play the nice card and see if you could get away with it. If that didn't work you would go down fighting. Either way, someone might get hurt in the end.

"Well unfortunately for you, we're all about trouble, aren't we boys?" The leader cawed.

While the two of you had an intense staring contest, the tabby took notice of the alley. True, mice bones laid around but among them, was cat bones too. His gaze soon fell upon a scratched wall. Etched on the bricks were strange symbols, one he recognized as a triangle with a cat eye.

"uh, boss?" He called quietly.

"Not now, Daven," The leader scolded. He turned his attention back to you, which earned him a glare.

"But boss, I really think we should leave."

The leader ignored the tabby, his focus completely on you. A second passed and his face came closer to yours. Meanwhile, you were waiting patiently for the right time to strike. The gang leader's yellow eyes bore into yours. When he was close enough you bent down onto your front paws.

Instantly you lashed out your claws. Three clear scratch marks adorned the tom's cheek.

"Argh! You're gonna pay for that you little---" He growled, prowling nearer to you. His teeth were bared along with his claws. Then in a flash his paw slashed your face, causing you to fly back.

Your body rolled along the ground. A warm liquid flowed over your fur. You winced as the pain set its mark.

"BOSS!"

"What!?"

"Look around..." The leader looked at the alley walls, then to the floor and finally at you. The black cat narrowed his eyes before backing off on fear. What? Was he a coward? No, he just saw something that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

"No, not again, this petty kitty is not worth my life! Cipher can have her!" The leader scrambled as fast as he could to get out of the alley. The two other cats bolted after him also.

'Ha! I showed them!' You let out a purr.

"That's right you scaredy cats! Run! Run in fear of the great kittypet (Y/N)!" You shouted after them. In pride, you straightened out your posture and smirked. Your tail wagged in satisfaction.

"So you're a kittypet?" A meow came from behind you.

Scared, you hesitantly turned around. In the darkness, you saw two eyes staring right back at you. A blue one and black one, you only saw the blue one at first but when the light glared in them you saw two.

From the darkness came a tall and slender figure. It was another alley cat. Only this one was different, in a strange way. Not only did he have two separate eye colors but his coat was weird. His fur was a solid golden yellow, all of his paws were black, and the end of his tail contained an abnormal pattern that looked fairly similar to bricks.

The cat leaped out, then began to circle you. He was shifty and sneaky looking as he circled you. He was definitely a lot worse than the other three cats put together.

"What's a kittypet like you doing out so far from home?" He eyed your collar as he moved swiftly.

"I-I got lost," You barely stuttered, freezing still. Right, when you got rid of three you had another one on your tail.

"Don't be afraid, I don't bite," The cat stopped moving.

He came close to you. If he was any closer your nose would've been able to touch his furry chest. The stranger smelled of mice and fish. His height caused him to tower over you. Fearful he would hurt you, you cowered down.

"If you're going to kill me, do it quick," You shut your eyes tight, waiting for him to strike.

You waited for death to take you, but nothing happened. Instead something rough moved against your face. Confused you opened one eye. The alley cat had licked you.

"You're bleeding," He said and licked again, this time right above your eye.

"Ah!–Gah! What are you doing!?" You cried as he cleaned your wound.

"Grooming you," He mumbled between the licks, "You really are a foolish kitten. Trying to defend yourself against an alley cat. He could've easily killed you."

"Well, you're one to speak. You're an alley cat yourself."

It felt so nice to be groomed. Inside you mentally had to resist the urge to purr. You've never been groomed before by another cat. His actions made you feel warm.

"Yes, but I'm not trying to kill you now am I?" He shot back, which took you by surprise. When he was finished he ditched you to leave the alley. You blinked before following him.

"Come on, kitten. I'll guide you home," He sighed, "Since you obviously can't take care of yourself."

Your heart pounded at the nickname.

"I can take care of myself!" You defended, walking beside him.

"Really?" He teased in a meow, "I'd love to see you try."

He gave a small chuckle. His pace changed and his tail whipped your face. You sneezed and grew irritated. Anger flowed through your veins. How could he say such a thing? You had defended yourself perfectly fine against the three toms. Well, not really but you were handling it okay.

"Alright then! Come at me!" You meowed back. The cat abruptly stood dead in his tracks.

Before you could consider what happened you saw a flash of gold and blue. The yellow tom had pinned you down. His body caged your own while face held a smirk. Then he walked over you and continued down the street.

"I wasn't ready! Rematch!" You cried, stumbling to get up.

"Okay, this time, you attack," He turned to you. He plopped himself down and sat on the concrete.

The light of a flickering lamppost illuminated the two of you. The air was clear but smelled of something foul. It was probably pee. You thought for a moment of what you should attack with. Stealthily crept over to him, your plan to pounce and then attack. It didn't go well.

Once more he pinned you down.

In conclusion, while you were in the air he quickly ran under you and grabbed your tail. He bit down enough to grip you but not draw blood. From there the cat threw you onto the ground. You crashed onto the concrete, your body rolling few times.

The yellow cat strode over and stood before you, "Looks like you can't defend yourself."

Furious at him and at yourself, you sent your leg straight for his face. It connected to his jaw with a sickening crack. The kick was hard but not to the point where you would break a bone.

Dazed and surprised the cat stumbled backwards, nearly losing his balance. While he was doing that you got onto all fours, panting slightly. Then he started to hack up blood. Worried you ran over to him, only to find him chuckling to himself.

"You pack quite a kick, kitten," He tested out his jaw before laughing again.

"What–Why are you laughing?! Aren't you hurt?" You asked.

"No, I find pain hilarious. I'm used to," He hunched his shoulders as the last strand of giggles slowly ended.

"Jerk! I was worried!" You shouted.

"Ha! Worried about me? Are all kitty pets like you?" He unexpectedly went into your face. His eyes were full of insanity, that much you could tell. Uncomfortable with the space between you, you backed up a bit.

"Um, no. I don't think so," You averted his stare, "I've never really talked to other kittyp–cats before..." Your tail swished nervously.

"That means tonight was your first night out?" The tom's attitude changed. He seemed more pitiful and sorry. You could tell by how his ears turned back.

"It's unfortunate that on your first time those idiots tried to hurt you," He said, continuing to walk you to your master's house.

Trailing after the cat, you tried to match his pace. The rest of the walk was silent. You watched the scenery change from ruined buildings to a nice neighborhood. For the both of you, the thirty minutes turned into what seemed like an hour.

'It's so awkward,' You thought, staring at the ground.

After a few moments, the tom broke the silence, "You know kitten, since your first time out wasn't so great, maybe next time I can show you around."

"I'll take you up on that offer," A tingling sensation sparked through you as you replied. For some reason, you wanted to see the strange cat again.

"Then it's a deal, just give me a call and I'll be there," The cat purred, "Looks like we're here."

The both of you stopped in front of a two-storied house. It was painted a bright blue with red roofing. The door was an oakwood, with a little slot for mail. The porch light was on, casting it's light on you and the tom cat.

You faced the door, "Ah, thank you for taking me home uh..."

"Names Cipher, Bill Cipher," He answered happily.

'Funny name,' Your mind raced, 'Makes him even more interesting.'

"Well thank you, Bill for–" The minute you turned around the tom was gone. From a distance, you saw his silhouette walking back to his home of an alley.

Bill stopped and turned around, "Catch you on the flip side, kitten!"

After his final call, he whipped around and left.

Suddenly, a click sounded and the door swung open. Taking your eyes off of the last spot of Bill, you were faced with your master. He was quite tall and thin, he had brown hair, and always wore the strangest clothes. Torn up jeans, plaid hoodies, and a hat with a pine tree on it.

"(Y/N)! There you are!" He picked you up and set on his shoulder, "I've been looking everywhere for you!"

Then your master carried you inside the house. Before he closed the door you took one last glance at the spot where Bill was at.

'What a strange cat,' You thought to yourself, 'Maybe I'll meet him again.'
