we got up from the bathroom floor and went downstairs. it was 9:57 am.
i heard the doorbell ring again, multiple times. who tf. i peeked out the window close to the door. it was a man.
"it's a man danny." i said looking at him.
he opened the door.
"hello, goodmorning." the man said.
"hey, um who are you?" i said standing behind daniel.
"oh sorry! im lucy's stepfather." he says extending his hand out.
i shook it first then daniel did.
"is there something wrong?" i asked worried furrowing my eyebrows.
"last night she said she was going to take a walk at the park and come back a couple minutes later, and she never showed up."
"oh my god." i said covering my mouth with my hand.
"around what time did she leave?" daniel asked shocked.
"around 9 ish almost 10." he said.
"well i have to go to work, let me know if you see her or she comes here, please." he said tearing up.
"of course! i will i will, we'll find her okay." i put my hand on his shoulder.
he wiped a fallen tear.
"yeah yeah, well bye, have a good day." he said walking away.
"you too sir!" daniel yelled.
we closed the door. our eyes were wide. "devins?" i mumbled.
"yeah let's go!" he said opening the door and running out holding my hand.
we were matching again. gray sweatpants and white tees. zamn we cute. i really hope my bestfriend is at cheese's house.
