ALEX POV
I laid on my bed just staring at my ceiling. I don't want to break up with Shawn. But do I have a choice? I'll just wait a few days.
Today is Sunday that last day of break before I go back to school. I checked my phone and I had three text messages from Shawn.
ShawnBabe💗: hey baby
ShawnBabe💗: alexxxx
ShawnBabe💗: r u ok?
I didn't answer them. I just put my phone back down. I walked downstairs to get something to eat, it's 12:56pm and I still haven't ate anything. I went into the kitchen and pulled out an apple from the fridge, I also grabbed some smooth peanut butter and put some on a spoon. I grabbed a knife and started cutting my apple into slices. I started thinking about Shawn I didn't realize my finger was in the way, and I cut it.
"Ah shit!" I yelled as I grabbed my finger, it was bleeding. I put it in the sink and turned the water on. "Ow. Fuck" I mumbled.
"Alex! What's wrong?" Jack, Johnson and Emily ran into the kitchen.
"Nothing, I just cut my finger" I said.
"Aw is that why you're crying?" Emily asked. No. It's not. I'm crying because I have to break up with Shawn.
"I- uh yeah" I said looking down at my finger. I wrapped around with a bandage and washed the knife because it had blood.
"Hello guys, I'm home" my dad said as he walked into the kitchen. "What happened!" He yelled as he saw some blood.
"I just cut my finger" I said.
"You are so careless!" He yelled at me.
"I'm sorry! It was an accident!" I yelled back at him.
"Don't raise your voice at me!" He yelled back. I didn't say anything. "Have you done what I've told you to do?"
"No" I said.
"Why not!" He yelled.
"Because I-"
"Do it by tonight" he warned.
"But dad, I rea-" he cut me off again.
"No, do it by tonight or else!" He yelled. I slightly nodded. Once he and Emily walked out of the kitchen, I slid down to the floor and cried.
"Alex, what's wrong? What do you need to do?" Johnson asked.
"Shawn?" Jack asked. I nodded and cried into Johnson's chest.
"P-please don't tell him w-why I broke up with h-him" I said in between sobs. Jack nodded.
"Why are you breaking up with him? You guys are like goals!" Johnson said to me and I nodded.
"I have to, m-my dad" is all I could say.
Once I calmed down I ate my apples with peanut butter. Once I finished I changed my bandage and went upstairs. It's currently 2:33pm. Should I call Shawn now? Why not. I'm gonna get it over with.
He answered at the second ring.
Hey baby, I was getting worried you wouldn't text me back.
Shawn I need to tell you something.
What is it?
Please don't hate me, I'm really sorry.
What are you saying?
I'm breaking up with you I bit my lip so I wouldn't cry.
What? W-Why? What did I do wrong? His voice cracked.
I'm so sorry Shawn I said crying.
Baby please don't do this. I could hear all the pain in his voice.

Bye Shawn. I said sobbing. I hung up and got really mad.
"AHHH!" I screamed throwing my stuff around the room. I grabbed some of my trophies and threw them, my picture frames, I grabbed my lamp and threw it. The lightbulb exploded and made a big shock but nothing too serious. I fell down to my knees and cried. I just cried and cried and cried. I can't believe I had to let Shawn go.
SHAWN POV
I'm breaking up with you She told me.
What? W-Why? What did I do wrong? My voice cracked.

Bye Shawn. She said sobbing then hung up.
"What the fuck!" I yelled and threw my stuff around. I grabbed my guitar and smashed it out of anger. I kept hitting it on the floor and I hit it on the wall really hard I made a dent in it. I still wasn't satisfied I punched the wall and made a bigger hole. I slid down to the floor and cried. Then someone barged in.
"Shawn? What the hell is this?" My dad asked looking at me. I looked up at him.
"S-She broke up with me" I said sobbing.
"Shawn, it's okay" he said giving me a hug.
"No it's not okay dad, I loved her, I still do" I said. "I just don't understand why!"
"Shawn! Calm down! Look at what you did to your room! Your wall, oh god! Shawn! Your guitar! And look at your hand." My dad yelled at me. "You need to control yourself"
He doesn't understand.

ALEX POV
I got up with dry tears around my eyes. I walked to my bathroom, god do I look terrible. I honestly don't even care anymore. I went to my closet and changed into the first thing I saw.
I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs. I had a text from Shawn.
ShawnBabe💗: r we still going 2 talk?
Me: I would prefer not to
ShawnBabe💗: .. ok?
I deeply sighed and went to sit down at the island in my kitchen.
"Are you okay?" Jack asked.
"I'm fine, just fine" I said giving him and Johnson a fake smile.
"Yeah right" Johnson snorted. Sometimes I feel like Johnson gets me more than Jack and he's been really distracted lately.
"Let's just go to school, so I can get this over with" I said walking out the door to Jack's car, but stopped at the doorway. It was pouring outside, just like my feelings inside.
"You haven't even ate yet!" Jack told me.
"I'm not hungry" I said, before running out the door to the car and shutting the door.
"You need to eat" he said, once inside the car and I nodded.
I got out the car and jogged to the front of the school, at the patio where we couldn't get wet, I saw Shawn in his car, just looking out the window as if he were thinking about something. I think I was staring at him for while because Matthew came up behind me and scared me, I don't think he meant to.
"Aren't you going to like go kiss him?" He asked me playfully.
I gave him a small, fake smile. Boy, am I going to miss kissing Shawn.
"Yeah, I'm surprised you guys aren't making out yet!" Taylor added.
"Here he comes" Hayes said. I didn't want to turn around so I just stayed how I was.
"Hey guys!" Shawn said, sounding extremely happy to be without me. I feel that if I talk, I will start crying. He looked down at me and slightly nodded and I just pressed my lips together.
"Wait" Nash started.
"You guys aren't together anymore?" Cameron asked. I looked at him, then at Shawn, than at all the guys, then Shawn again, I opened my mouth to talk but nothing came out. I couldn't because I would start crying. I started tearing up and the guys noticed because they all softened their looks. I can't do this, pushed through the guys and walked quickly to the bathroom. I started at myself in the mirror just crying.
What did I get myself into this?
